While Two Hearts is the 10th book in the Sweetbriar Cove Series, it kicks off the start to the brand new Kinsella Family Series.

Two Hearts follows the story of Alice and Jackson. 2 years ago, Alice found herself back in Cape Cod. Ever since returning home, she’s been in a rut. She’s looking to shake things up and take chances. She longs to feel her heart race. So, when fate brings Jackson into her life with his good looks and motorcycle, this might just be the chance Alice was looking for…..When it comes to photography, Jackson loves the chase and loves getting that shot. So when his grandfather has a stroke, this gives Jackson a chance to get a little rest and relaxation. The one thing he didn’t plan on was Alice. Alice makes him question everything he’s ever known. He wants to take things one day a time and see where the chips lie. He’s not looking to be tied down, but if there ever was a woman that could make him change his mind…well, that woman might just be Alice….

Two Hearts was a sweet and sexy small town romance. There is just something about these towns and the characters that Melody Grace writes that makes you just want to slow down and get lost in the moment. And I for one, totally got lost in the moment. I was hooked on Alice and Jackson from their very first encounter. Their chemistry was instant and I loved watching their story develop. Both characters were at different points of their life, yet somehow they just clicked. They were everything the other person was looking for. However, fear can often rule peoples lives and cause them to make terrible decisions. And when those moments happen, you have to decide whether the risk is worth the leap?

Alice and Jackson’s story captivated me from the very first page. I loved getting to know them and I loved getting to hang out with some familiar faces. I think Two Hearts is a great start to the Kinsella Series and a wonderful addition to the overall Sweetbriar Cove one. The characters are fun and easy to relate to. The small town is filled with lots of charm and makes you just want to slow down and enjoy the simple things. There’s romance and light drama. Steam and unforgettable friendships. Two Hearts has something for everyone and will leave you with a smile on your face.

Fireworks light the sky and her heart when a chivalrous and handsome stranger rescues Alice after a small car accident. Her tame life is about to get exciting in Melody Grace’s Two Hearts. This is the tenth installment on the Sweetbriar Cover series of standalone romances.

After meeting, Jackson and Alice are equally attracted to one another, but can a spontaneous wanderer and an obsessive planner get along? While their physical attraction is evident from the start, these two have past issues and unfulfilled goals to workout before they could possibly know what they can give to or want from a romantic relationship.

Secondary characters have been introduced in prior novels. Their roles are small, and meant mainly to remind the reader of small town life and how everyone gets in your business in a tiny community. Two notable secondary characters are Grandpa Earl, who is a lovable curmudgeon, and Alice’s mom, Diana, who is into annoying trends like “finding joy” in inanimate objects.

I love small town romances, and Two Hearts is a charming one. The angst is minimal, the characters are likable, and the plot is straightforward. You can’t ask for much more in a lighthearted summer read. Two Hearts is an adorable addition to the Sweetbriar Cover series!

If you are looking for heartwarming romance, then this is probably the book for you and as much as I wanted to fall totally in love with everything about it, unfortunately I can’t say that I did. Don’t get me wrong, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the book, I was just looking for a bit more oomph!
There was very little angst to get my teeth into and for much of the story I was missing the passion that I wanted from this pair, I was looking all out scorch and that isn’t what I got, I got all out romance and I thought they had the wherewithal to be more!
Jackson and Alice are on the surface are the total opposite of each other. Jackson is a go getter, a photographer who travels the world in search of that one shot, that one moment that matters. Alice on the other hand is more stayed, more settled, the type of woman that thinks things through and the type of woman that Jackson wouldn’t have normally given a second look but when he helped her out on their first meeting there was just something about each other that lit a flame that for the most part took on a life of its own. But was it going to be enough?
Jackson is in town visiting his Grandfather, after an overseas job didn’t conclude the way he had hoped it would. Alice isn’t just visiting nope, her life has taken a complete turn from where she thought she would be and following her mother’s cancer diagnosis, she is now back in town and trying to settle back into small town routine.
They were at different places in their lives and I could help but think that they had a mountain to climb to make what they could potentially have work. But the author worked hard to give them what they deserved, and I certainly can’t criticize her for that because what she did deliver was in essence a well written, beautifully presented slow burning romance and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Two Hearts is the tenth book in the Sweetbriar Cove series, but the first of the Kinsella brothers' story. Their connection to Sweetbriar Cove comes from spending summers with their grandparents who live in Sweetbriar Cove. They aren’t technically hometown kids, but the next best thing. Two Hearts is Jackson’s and Alice’s story.

Jackson is an internationally known, world-renowned photojournalist. He has spent ten years traveling the globe, recording life in all its messy glory and heartache. His last project left him shaken and questioning his choices. He’s using the excuse that Grandpa Earl needs to be checked on and helped out after his stroke to spend time in Sweetbriar Cove. His real reason is that he needs time to figure out his next steps and what his life really means.

Alice left a high-power corporate attorney firm two years ago to return to Sweetbriar Cove after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Her mom is now in remission and Alice is trying to figure out where she belongs. Her plan was always to return to Chicago and pick up where she left off, but now she’s not so sure. Then she meets Jackson after her car breaks down on her way to the Fourth of July celebration. She knows he’s just passing through and all sorts of trouble.

Two Hearts is a quick, fun, and easy read. It’s a good get-away from reality and the daily stresses of life. There’s no heavy drama, just two relatable people who have reached a crossroads in their lives, are fearful of giving up the known for the unknown. We’ve all been there. We can relate.

Alice is a straight-laced planner and lawyer who is temporarily living with her mom after leaving Chicago to take care of her when she got cancer.

Jackson is spontaneous fly-by night guy who doesnt make plans and is visiting his grandfather after he had a stroke, but also hiding out after a bad experience in Cairo.

Once again we join Melody Grace and her cast of loveable characters in the small sleepy town, that never sleeps, as another one of their single and beautiful women is about to embark on a whirlwind romance.

When Alice gets stuck in the mud and cant get her car out, Jackson shows up on his motorcycle and offers to help. She takes the offer of a ride to a 4th of July party arriving just as the fireworks start. Ironically so o the fireworks start between Jackson and Alice with a fiery and blazing hot kiss that leaves them both breathless. Follow Jackson and Alice as they start a summer fling with no expectations and one that has Jackson teaching Alice to leave comfort of her schedules and planners. What they dont know is that the future holds heartbreak and clarity. But will Alice be enough to keep Jackson around? Will Jackson be able to make plans that allows Alice to feel safe? What happens when feelings get involved and your relationship unfolds in the small town of Sweetbriar Cove? Check out this book to see who does what and how it all plays out in this final book of Sweetbriar Cove.

Melody Grace’s romance novels have been a must read for me for many years now. I’ve always loved small town stories, and her Sweetbriar Cove series is one of my favorites. And now with this latest release, Two Hearts, we get two for one as it continues in Sweetbriar Cove and also introduces a crossover series, the Kinsella Family.

From the moment Alice and Jackson meet, the sparks begin to fly and rapidly increase into a fantastic and tantalizing love story. Although their connection develops quickly, both Alice and Jackson struggle with inner turmoil. Despite her love for the intimate setting of her life in Sweetbriar Cove as well as enjoying the spontaneity of the time spent with Jackson, Alice wonders whether this is where she’s meant to stay and whether he feels what they share is more than just casual. Jackson feels deeply for Alice as well, but is unsure if he can find his way to finally put down roots and build a life with her.

Ms. Grace’s memorable stories always pull me in, and her characters repeatedly capture my heart, and Alice and Jackson have done just that. I also love returning to Sweetbriar Cove to catch up on the lives of her other characters. Though Two Hearts continues in this fantastic series, it can certainly be read as a stand-alone. But once you’ve taken the stroll through this small town, you’ll definitely want to meet everyone and experience their love stories as well.

They say opposites attract. Does this work with humans or just magnets?

Alice gave up all she had careerwise in Chicago to come home and help her mother. Cancer is an ugly disease and helping her mom through the treatments was all she could think of doing. Now that her mom is in remission, she must decide what to do with the rest of her life. Should she stay in Sweetbriar or go back to the unrelenting world of being a lawyer in Chicago? She is a planner. Always strategizing how to achieve her goals. One problem. She must decide what her goal is and what she wants out of life.

Jackson has always followed his wanderlust. He was always a loner, even though his brothers and sister were always around. His love of photography merged well with his thirst to travel as he became sought after by prestigious publications. Coming home to make sure his grandfather recuperated from a recent stroke was just what he needed. Recent experiences had him reconsidering if his life was on the right path. Could he possibly settle down and grow roots somewhere permanently?

An accidental encounter, immediate chemistry, and the rest was history. The romance between Alice and Jackson goes off the charts from their first encounter. Maybe Fate brought them together? Sweet romance was never like this!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.

Even though this is book 10 in the Sweetbriar Cove series, its the first book in the Kinsella Family, so you don't have to read the other books first, but I would recommend that you do as they are all brilliant and different, you get to know the characters that are part of every book.

In this first book of the Kinsella Family, you meet Jackson who is a world-class photographer, he travels the world on assignments, never stays anywhere very long. He has come back home to take care of his Grandfather for the summer.

You also get to meet Alice, she returned home two years ago to take care of her mother who had cancer and set up her law business from the house to keep her working while there. She is very organised and methodical, plans everything down to the last detail.

They say opposites attract and this is what happened when Jackson and Alice met on the 4th July, they were so different but there was a spark that neither of them could deny.

Can the love that they have grow and survive? will Jackson settle down? can Alice change and be spontaneous? Find out in yet another brilliant book by Melody Grace.

Once again Melody Grace didn't disappoint, a new fresh story a new family, I loved it!

Two Hearts by Melody Grace
“unexpected love, 4 stars”

Alice is the serious type. She plans ahead. The only thing she hasn’t worked into her plan yet is a man. But that’s out of her control. Yes, there are times she wishes she could wing it and be spontaneous but that’s not her. But meeting Jackson? That was something she never saw coming? Starting up a fling definitely wasn’t on her radar. Sometimes though, life throws you an unexpected twist.
Jackson is only in town long enough to check on his Grandfather and think about what’s next. As a photojournalist his life is always on the move. He never stays one place long. Alice though has him wondering what it would be like to stay in one place. The question is, is he the settle down time or will his itchy feet get the best of him?
These two were straight up opposites attract and I liked it. They helped balance each other perfectly. It was fun watching Alice finally get her HEA and catch up with the rest of Sweetbrair Cove. I think if you take a chance on Two Hearts you won’t be disappointed.

Alice

Alice is a Lawyer who has been living in Sweetbriar Cove for the last 2 years taking care of her Mother who had cancer. Alice needs to make a decision stay and really put down roots in Sweetbriar Cove or go back to practicing law in Chicago where she was before and she would like to shake up her life. Jackson is coming back to Sweetbriar Cove to help his Grandpa after his stroke also to rethink his life of being a Photojournalist who is constantly on the road. Jackson and Alice meet when he finds Alice stranded along the road and he gives her a lift to a party she was going to when her car went off the road on his motorcycle. This is a very good book. I liked both Alice and Jackson as they both try to figure out what they want their future to be. I liked the chemistry between Alice and Jackson and how Jackson helped Alice to let loose and do some different things normally she wouldn’t have done. This is a good 1st book with the introduction of Luke who Is in the next book as an actual character adding to the story not just thrown into the book. I would definitely read more books by this author and this series.

4.5 Stars for Two Hearts
I was so excited to back in the small town of Sweetbriar Cove because I love the resident’s that call this Cove home but this book is a bit different because we also crossover to the Kinsella family and that only added to the overall enjoyment I got from this book.
Jackson is in town visiting his grandfather, he a guy that doesn’t settle, he spends his life traveling the world taking photographs but his last assignment in Cairo didn’t end well.
Alice has moved back to town to look after her mum after she was diagnosed with cancer, she is the total opposite to Jackson in as much as she loves to plan and is not very spontaneous.
Will Alice be enough for Jackson to stay...........
This couple have an instant attraction and from the moment they meet sparks fly, I loved being part of their journey as they got to know each other. Once again this author has given us a story with great feels and great characters, you need to one click this book and get that warm fuzzy feeling that I was left with after catching up with everyone in Sweetbriar Cove.

This book is a prime example of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. When you look at it you may think a cutesy small down beach read, and that is exactly what you will find until BAM – you catch yourself legitimately laughing out loud. This book has got some great comedy to it which was unexpected and very welcome.

It also takes place in Cape Cod which I mentioned previously, and is in the plot. No spoiler alert there but it actually did something for me. You see, I actually went to Cape Cod Community College for a semester. I have lived on the Cape off season and I have worked at the mall. Once you do those things, your view on the Cape can change. It loses it’s romantical vibe, the one that draws in the masses every summer. It can become a place you dread actually returning to. It loses it’s magic, but Melody Grace brought back some of that magic for me. She reminded me why I loved going there as a kid and all the parts I did love about it. Thank you Melody for that.

And for the record- there was enough room on that raft/door…

"When you think about building a life for yourself, what’s the picture you see?”

And is it realistic? Alice came home from her law practice in Chicago to care for her mother in Sweetbriar Cove a few years back. She set up a temporary office and even had a list of clients but it wasn't a substantial firm. Her mother has weathered the storm. Now what?

Jackson Kinsella a world known photographer had come back to Sweetbriar Cove to check up with his grandfather Earl after his own health crisis. Five brothers and sisters and no one had checked on Earl for a while. Besides, Jackson needed a break. And just who was this stranded woman with car troubles!?

Hey, it's Melody Grace's Sweetbriar Cove, you know what's going to happen! And in her typical fashion we have a realistic look at contemporary romance. And... it's lovely. Will Alice and Jackson's choices bring them together or tear them apart? You will just have to read and find out. Highly Recommended 5/5

Two Hearts is book 10 in the Sweetbriar Cove series, but it is a standalone and the first book in a new chapter from Sweetbriar Cove, caked the Kinsella Family series. You can read and enjoy this book without having read any of the previous books in the series, but you really are going to want to read them because you will fall in love with all that is Sweetbriar Cove.

I immediately felt a connection to all the characters in this story. Alice and Jackson couldn't be more different. She has a plan for every minute of the day, which comes from being an attorney. Jackson is a fly by the seat of your motorcycle kind of guy. He's a photojournalist who goes where the wind blows and the job takes him. As different as they are, one thing is for certain, these two are perfect for each other. The trick is getting them both to realize that.

Sit back and relax and watch their story unfold. I highly recommend this sweet and satisfying book.

Alice is back in her small hometown in the northeast, leaving behind a whirlwind law career at a big firm in Chicago. She is at a crossroads both personally and professionally, trying to figure out what she wants from her life. Jackson is a photographer with major wanderlust, in town to visit his grandfather. He is also at a crossroads, having experienced a horrific incident while traveling and a companion’s actions and comments have him questioning everything he is. Several chance meetings throw them together, and they can’t help but give in to their attraction. But neither one plans on staying in Sweetbriar Cove for very long.

This was a cute book. The sneaking around Alice and Jackson have to do since both are staying with an adult relative is hilarious. And they both learned a lot about themselves both individually and together. I loved the characters in the town, too. The way they all come together when someone is in need is true small town life at its best.

Take one fearless photographer Jackson trying to recapture his love of adventure after an incident in Cairo has left him questioning what is right and wrong and mix it together with Alice who likes control, her world to be safe orderly and predictable and you end up with another winning book from author Melody Grace.

Alice moved home a couple of years ago to take care of her mum and set her law practice up in her mums front room still hoping one day maybe to return to the city.

When Jackson and Alice first meet the attraction between them is undeniable and the romance sizzling and hot hot hot!

But will Alices need always for a plan push away a man that away likes to look at life through the lens of a camera rather than live it and force Alice back to the corporate world she left behind.

“Two Hearts is book number 10 in the Sweetbriar Cove series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend you to read the whole series. Trust me, you don’t want miss it.

Alice, corporate lawyer, a woman set with a plan. Jackson it’s the definition of a hot man. A very talented photographer plus he’s a biker. Sexiness on its major expression. He was perfect, a modern version of Prince Charming.

A playful, charming and romantic story. The characters were so funny and sweet. I feel head over heels in love with their personalities. Jackson and Alice chemistry was so pure but their connection was flawless. Their bond was so authentic. They made me remember how butterflies feel like.

A slow burn romance. A marvelous happily ever after. Perfectly written and developed. I can’t wait to read Melody’s next story.”

Another perfect small town romance in the Sweetbriar Cove series. I totally love revisiting Sweetbriar Cover; every book gives us another couple to fall for. Jackson and Alice meet completely by chance and sparks fly hotter than the Fourth of July fireworks.

Jackson and Alice have so much to offer each other. He's fun and spontaneous, while Alice loves making lists and plans. Each learning from each other and discovering their path to the future. A path that scares them both, but together they could be unstoppable. Catching up with recent couples from previous books truly makes Sweetbriar Cove a quaint community that I would die to be apart of.

Two Hearts is a sweet, romantic summer read that melts my heart and plants a HUGE smile on my face. I will always return for more!

Alice Evans left her job as a Chicago attorney two years earlier to return to Cape Cod and care for her mother after a cancer diagnosis. She's been drifting along ever since, but realizes she needs to shake up her life. When her car dies on the way to a July 4th party, and she's picked up by a motorcycle riding hottie, the life tremors start. Jackson Kinsella is back on the Cape visiting his elderly grandfather, and trying to shake some sense into his footloose, high intensity photography career after witnessing a bombing in Cairo. She's looking for stability and the white picket fence, and he's not, but somehow the two can't resist each other and get their HEA. Quick summer read.

Another hot read from Sweetbriar Cove, Alice and Jackson are sweet, sexy and totally lost in their own screwed up way. Can finding the ONE, make you see who you really are? I love the characters and how they connect. Going back to Sweetbriar is like going home even for the reader. Melody has created a community that, will make you yearn to head on over to the Cape and volunteer on the 4th of July committee.
I love the connections and the nostalgia that Jackson and Alice bring to the story. Looking into the towns past showing us how we are all connected and that a past can show us how to grow. Beautiful, simply beautiful, this book is a story that should be cherished close to the heart.

What a great book. This is book 10 of the Sweetbriar Cove series and book 1 of the Kinsella family series but can be read as a standalone just like all the other books in this series.
Alice & Jackson
Alice is a attorney. She is the type of person that has to follow a schedule, have a plan and has everything organized down to color coding it all. She’s a stickler for not coloring outside the box.
Jackson couldn’t be more different. He’s a photo journalist. Jackson never stays in one place for long, always up for something spontaneous and doesn’t have any plans on making any roots anywhere.
He is 100% Alice’s polar opposites. But from the moment they meet there is a spark. Is Alice enough to make Jackson want to stay? You must read to find out.

I was instantly drawn into this book. I loved the characters a lot. They had me invested in their story. I really loved Alice. Her planning and scheduling I thought it was an adorable quirk. Then you throw in Jackson who pretty much just goes with the flow and the opposite of Alice. That's what makes them work they balance each other out. I enjoyed them going out of their comfort zones and being spontaneous. Jackson is yummy and good hero material. He's has so inner turmoil to work out, but Alice gives him a direction he never counted on.The only problem will they let their fears of the future derail their present? I'm looking forward to from the Kinsellas. I liked the little teaser we got in the epilogue.

Two Hearts by Melody Grace was touching and moving story about opposites attracting. Alice and Jackson are in different places in their lives. Alice is settling into her new normal. She is the kind of girl who builds roots while Jackson travels the world. She came home to be there for her mother, but now she is trying to determine what is next for her. Jackson is a professional photographer who travels the world. He is only in town to visit his grandfather.

When they meet, their attraction is instant and their chemistry is undeniable. They decide to explore what they have but keep things light. But when feelings change, can they truly let the other in? Two Hearts by Melody Grace was a charming and sweet read.

After reading this book, I feel like I’m back again in Sweetbriar Cove after few months of holidays. Always looking forward to this series.

The small town life is just charming for me, so the stories. It’s kinda funny that everyone knows what’s happening with who. The most important of all, that people is there for you when you need them the most even if you are not related by blood. The friendship in this book is just touching, so as in the previous books. The reason I keep on reading this series.

This is a lighthearted read and the development of the story is not so complicated. Like it’s just a normal life. Now, I have to go back and read the previous ones I think to re-acquaint myself with the other characters.

Two Hearts by Melody Grace is a perfectly written sweet summer read. I enjoyed every minute of losing myself in this charming small-town romance. I'm very new to the Sweetbriar Cove but for some reason, I was able to feel the closeness between the family and friends. It's as if I knew characters from the first nine books when I don't and it left me wanting to get to know more about the other characters.

Alice Evans and Jackson Kinsella are made for each other but it takes time and breaking down walls before they can realize that. I love Alice's strength to take a chance for a new beginning. Jackson kept me uneasy with how unsettling and a bit secretive he is. I was on the edge if the relationship he has with Alice would be enough for him.
