Tate moved to New York City with dreams of being an actor, but too cynical to survive the actual hustle--he could work, but to hope for fame while struggling to make rent in an upscale diner in Chelsea while fending off brighter, taller, cuter men he had to compete with for roles… Maybe that just wasn’t him. So now at thirty, after 12 years in the City, with ten years at the diner, he’s collected enough encounters with guests to make a semi-popular blog about the fun of turning tables. He’s content with living his days with his cantankerous roomie, updating his blog, and seeing his favorite regular.

Christopher is a middle aged hedge fund manager with that pedigree, from that town, who came to the city an age ago--back when friends were forever but life was fleeting. His grasp on his past has been this neighborhood, these bars, this city where everything is still awake.

Christopher and Tate didn’t expect to take their casual friendship further. Tate didn’t expect Christopher’s story. Christopher didn’t expect to ever get past… well, the past. Christopher may be the most often table Tate has turned, but Tate may be Christopher’s chance to start over.

Kade Boehme is the epitome of dorkdom, only watching TV when Rachel Maddow or one of his sports teams is on. Most of his free time is spent dancing, arguing politics or with his nose in a book. He is also a hardcore Britney Spears fangirl and has an addiction to glitter.

It was after writing a short story about boys who loved each other for a less than reputable adult website that he found his true calling, and hopefully a bit more class. He hopes to write about all the romance that he personally finds himself allergic to but that others can fall in love with. He maintains that life is real and the stories should be, as well.
