Stanley
She stood before me, her innocent eyes slicing through my heart ignoring the pain she’d put me through. She played it off as if nothing happened between us. I gave her my heart and unconditional devotion, only to have her ignorance ignite the fire which now burns in my soul.
She’s going to pay the price.
She’ll feel the anger that rages inside me. For her, pain and pleasure will be a way of life.

Becca

It was the holiday that growing up, my grandfather had taught me to keep in my heart.
Till he came around…
What once had been so wonderful for me had now turned into a gruesome nightmare that I would not soon forget. My perfect life was turned upside down. Right before my eyes, my amazing boyfriend, wonderful friends and life as I knew it had been destroyed. My world as I knew it had come to an end.

This is a deep dive into the realm of erotic horror/thriller, and is NOT for the faint of heart. The premise is fairly simply--girl wakes up handcuffed to a pipe in a basement, kidnapped by someone she thought was a friend. Pretty quickly we discover this is not your usual sexy questionable consent story...this man is seriously mentally ill, and there are a lot of elements of legitimate horror in this story. I found the arguments in his head particularly interesting. You can definitely tell he's way off his rocker, and it's interesting to see how he justifies his behavior to himself and to his captive. This is not a book for the squeamish--there is definitely a lot creepy, scary, and gross elements in this book, even as it fascinates with the ramblings of a crazy person. The book alternates perspectives with each chapter--Stanley, the captor and Becca, the captive. Becca's chapters, I struggled with more than Stanley's--he's pretty much a nutjob from the get go, and it's really interesting to see that play out. But she's not--at least it seems like Becca's pretty normal, if maybe a little insatiable at the beginning. Stanley puts her through a lot of mental and physical torture over a series of days, and I could see that having a significant impact on her...And I recognize that Stockholm Syndrome can be a thing, but her thoughts and actions confused me--I had trouble understanding her, especially near the end. And I lost my grip on the timeline a bit and how things related together as well. May need to re-read to figure some of that out. Very interesting take on mental illness, torture and one's response to mental and physical torture. I can't say I particularly enjoyed this book, but neither could I put it down.

OK, I started this book with the (erroneous) preconception it was your standard 'intense guy grabs girl & imprisons her til she realizes she loves him' dark romance.
H*LL, NO it wasn't! This insanely insane, dark, twisted, deranged & morbidly fascinating erotic horror story is NOT, I repeat, NOT for the faint of heart.
I will say the author had numerous horrific shocks for the reader up her sleeves & I do mean (at least for me--- & I'm not faint of heart when it comes to reading) SHOCKS. Every time I felt I knew where this story was going I was slapped in the face by a new twist/shock/direction.
Be aware, the story has kidnapping, torture, mental illness & more, as well as a few very steamy sex scenes.
Becca is good friends with Stanley who works at the pet store where she gets her pet bunnies supplies. When he finds out she'll be alone on her favorite holiday-- Easter, because her boyfriend has to go home to his family this year, like a thoughtful good friend Stanley invites Becca to his place to celebrate. Excited & happy Becca shows up at Stanley's on Easter to celebrate. Only, Stanley's prepared celebration is nothing like Becca could have imagined in her wildest nightmares.
The writing was very good, despite the horrific things that took place I did want to finish the book to see just where everything ended up.
The twists (2 BIG ones) at the end, floored me & not many books have done that to me.
So, if you have a strong stomach & constitution, sally forth into this frighteningly shocking wild ride into madness & torture that has a small dash of dark, dark, DARK romance.

Not many stories I've read have shocked me or left me in gasp as Remember Me did. I'm not going to sugar coat this, Remember Me is not for the faint of heart. This story is dark. I mean, really DARK and disturbing.
The story starts with a steamy sex scene with an element of creepiness tossed in. From there, it slowly starts down the road of darkness that not only gives a new definition of torture, but will make you question whether you should finish reading. But, there's the catch. Once you get invested in the strange tale of Becca and Stanley, you won't want to put it down. There are numerous twists that caught me off guard.
Each chapter is written from the perspective of the characters, which gives you insight into the thoughts of the Becca and Stanley. I'm not going to give away their thoughts in this review, because each one is so unique on how they handle the situation and would truly give away the horrors going through their minds.
Remember Me takes erotica/horror to a new level. A word of warning, this book contains sexual torture, gore, and sex. It's a wild, twisted ride that will leave you speechless. Remember Me has a open ending, leaving the story open to continue.

I really enjoyed reading Begging Daddy by Stacy Sparks so I was intrigued to give this one a read and honestly the amount of twist and turns that are thrown out at you are incredible. You are kept hooked until the very end and you are left literally mind blown with the events of the book. I’m excited to see what else Stacy and S. Hancock come up with because I can see their talented writers and their ideas are just incredible. I honestly had no idea what I was going to find when I started reading, but by the end my mind was piqued with interest and questions. I honestly can’t wait to see what happens next with the characters from this book.

Becca has been in such a happy relationship for the last two years and things honestly couldn’t be better between her and Jeremy. She couldn’t ask for a better life, she’s got some great friends, a cute cuddly bunny as a pet and Easter (her favourite holiday) is around the corner. This Easter she is planning on stopping home whilst Jeremy heads back to his home town to take care of some family business, so she makes plans for herself but not everything is as it seems.

Wow what a messed up story and I loved every minute of it!

Becca seems to have the perfect life with her perfect boyfriend, Jeremy. Becca is friends with Stanley, who works at the pet store where she always buys her rabbit food. When Stanley heard Becca is spending Easter alone he invites her to his house. Since Easter has always been a favorite holiday of Becca's she eagerly agrees. Stanley can't understand why Becca doesn't remember him, but since she's going to be at his house for Easter he plans a celebration she'll never forget and she'll never forget him again either.

This book ends on a cliffhanger, because it says "to be continued" at the end and I'm definitely interested in finding out where these two go for here!

Grab this wonderfully messed up book today, I definitely consider it a must read.

FanFlippingTastic! Double DARK!
WOW! What an incredibly grueling horrific read that grabs hold of you demanding your attention as it shoves the words down your throat but you can't swallow them you keep trying to spit them back out because the taste is so repulsive you there's no way you can stomach the darkness that keeps been shoved at you breaking you down feeling helpless and desperate in a catatonic state shivering taking it in needing for the story to go back to the sweet taste in gave at the start before it flipped a switch and takes you on a dark hell-ridden ride of twists that leave you speechless thinking it can't possibly get any darker than this and oh boy does it ever only leaving you in a frantic state of mind putting you on hold to finish out this freaking fantastic story for another day! An absolute nerves of steel must read that is not a sweet love story it's dark and I mean dark! I LOVED IT! I can't wait for more!

This was one wild ride of a story. It started out so nice then the author decided we needed a little bit of horror in our lives. The story became a mesmerizing tale of horrific torture and insane trauma. I think he was knowledgeable at times of what was really going on, but he couldn't overcome his demons. She handled the situation she found herself in with the only tools she had, her words and her mind. The additional reveal at the end of the story was very shocking. The ending itself was shocking as well. I never would have thought the author would take the story in that direction. The author gave us a memorable tale which I'm sure will haunt me for days to come.

Wow! Oh my stars! This book was....oh my, insane. I'm reading along, thinking, it's pretty steamy quick, it's good...oh, there's a bit of some sweetness, awe, that was a bit of a creepy vibe I got, strange, kablam! What in the literal world?! *mouth agape* I re-read this part about 5 times, I was in such shock! Much like the main character. Holy holy this story sent insane, and then went further down the rabbit hole! It was sooooo good! Dark reads, I love to love them! This one, I read in one sitting, with my hand mostly covering my mouth in shock.

5 for writing 3 for story. 5 for character development. I have never read a book like this before. If I had known it was brutal horror I wouldn't have volunteered to read it but just like in horror movies you keep watching hoping the heroine escapes, hoping she doesn't get killed. The twists in this book and the ending was mind blowing. It is a to be continued but I really don't want to know the true end.

Truly dark and twisted. Intense and insanely bizarre. Talk about a walk on the dark side this takes the cake. I have never read something this twisted. Cudos to the authors for accomplishing what they set out to .

This book really blind sided me but it’s really dark! A couple is intimate and the girl has a feeling someone is watching her one day she goes to a store and the guy Stanley invites the girl to his house but he has a different Method in mind does she find out?

She had looked through him as if it all meant nothing to her. She would pay and he will make sure she will. Her life was great until he reappeared. Now her life is going downhill fast. Why? See just how bad things will get for her

This might have been a 5 star if the authors had taken the time to edit it. The tenses went back and forth constantly and it read like a first draft. It was dark and twisty but it would have been more enjoyable with some manuscript TLC.

Surprisingly well-written and nicely paced plot. You will be at the edge of your seat with page after page as the story flows through and not put it down till the end.
