They thought it would never happen, but the wedding of their dreams is finally here.
Maddie Graves and Nick Winters are days from walking down the aisle, exchanging vows, and embarking on the life they’ve always wanted. All they have to do is solve one more mystery … and this one is going to be a doozy.
A local man is shot and killed in his own house, his wife present and accounted for at the time of the murder. She denies doing the deed, but since her husband was cheating on her – and with more than one person – suspicion follows her at every turn … especially since she was the only one in the house at the time.
Maddie is convinced that the whole story isn’t being told, that a piece of the puzzle is missing. Nick values her opinion, but he also recognizes that Maddie’s soft heart often takes control of her practical brain. Still, he admits things don’t add up and he’s unwilling to look away until he has all the answers.
It’s a race to happily ever after. Maddie and Nick are looking forward to the future. The past has a few tasks left for them to solve, though.
Forever and always are here, as long as death doesn’t part them at the last second.

Wow, I laughed, I cried and I loved every page.

Maddie and Nick are finally getting married there are just a few things to wrap up first.
The mystery was a good one and I was glad Maddie wasn't hurt in this one but she does always seem to still be right in the thick of things.
I love how far Maddie and Nick have come in the past year and even though they are beyond schmaltzy it's in such a sweet way I never get sick of it, I just laugh at them in a good way.

It is a good mothers instinct to protect her child above anything else Maddie and Nick will make awesome parents when they decide to start a family.

Entertaining Paranormal cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Maddie Gray’s is a young woman around 29 years old. She also happens to be able to see and speak to ghosts and is also a psychic just like your mother. She grew up in a small town in Michigan called Blackstone Bay where she met her best friend Nick in kindergarten. They were inseparable all the way up to high school. Nick did not know that Maddie had a secret that she was psychic in could see and speak to ghost. Maddie was afraid if she told him that he would think she was a freak. Maddie went off to college and became a nurse and Nick went to the police Academy and became a cop. Nick stayed in their small town Maddie ended up living in Detroit for 10 years working as a nurse in a hospital there. Maddie‘s mother passed away and Maddie decided it was time to go home and run her mothers magic shop and take care of her grandmother. She reconnected with Nick and their relationship kicked back in like it never stopped. In this book we find the conclusion of that year long whirlwind reconnection as they finally get married. Yet you always know there’s going to be an adventure in their lives before that happens. Readon and see how it goes and where everything falls into place and enjoy.

Grave finale

As the wedding is counted down in days a new case creates tension.

Alicia has always been fighting for the unattainable, her husband's love, they've reconciled after he asked for a divorce 3 days before their 20th anniversary but 1 month on things aren't what they seem.

When Trevor is shot twice in his own home the answer to the obvious question is Alicia did it.. but.. she claims he shot himself while cleaning his gun and there's no trace of either residue or a clean up mission. Aaron his son was collecting his younger sister from dance class.. could someone else have been in the house?

Trevor survives the lengthy operation and Dale and Nick are waiting for him to come round to answer questions but in the meantime the gossip is flowing and it appears that there's more than one mistress current in his life..

Trevor's brother claims that the only reason he reconciled with Alicia was because of the money he'd have to pay her.. but some of its missing..

When Trevor suddenly dies the whole situation changes.. now it's murder and the game just became deadly serious..

It's going to end with heartache.. let's just hope that it's not Nick and Maddie's..

Wow fabulous!!!

I absolutely adore Nick and Maddie. They are the best couple ever. I love their story from beginning to end. It was so sweet and hilarious at times.
The series has made me laugh out loud so many times that my husband expects it now when i am reading books from the series. When he asks me what im reading and i tell him. He always replies oh no that means you will be laughing yourself silly. Thats always the case when reading books by this author.
This book centres on Nick and Maddie as they prepare for the biggest day of their lives, their wedding day.
Before that can take place a murder is committed. Who did this and why? So many twists and turns takes place before the culprit is revealed.
I dont want this series to end. I want to read more of Nick and Maddie’s married lives. I will miss them. I know we will still have them in crossovers but having their own series is different and the enjoyment is different compared to reading a crossover.
Thank you for a fabulous series.

Loved it

This one I think is absolutely my favorite in this series. Maddie and Nick are only a few days from getting married, when a guy in town is shot twice. He survives but is taken to the hospital for surgery. His wife Alicia says it's an accident, he must have shot himself while cleaning it.. turns out Trevor the victim is a bit of a man whore.. he has been cheating on his wife for basically the entire 20 years they have been married.. so now the police don't know if Alicia shot her husband or if it was one of his mistresses.. which include Marla and his daughters dance instructor. When Trevor dies after it was thought he would recover, things definitely amp up.
I don't want to spoil to , much but I loved everything about this one. And at the end we get to read about Maddie in her dress getting ready to walk down the isle. I'm excited to read the crossover with Maddie and rowan that will take place during Maddie and nicks honeymoon I assume. Since nick said they were going on a cruise..

Maybe I should put this in the fantasy section simply because of impossible math in the fortune telling scene!
In four hours she took in two thousand dollars?
In an earlier book she charged Marla $50 for a reading. At the $50 rate, she would have had to do ten readings an hour- and given the very minimum of a minute for getting the old butt out of the chair and the new butt in, that's $50 for a 5 minute reading.
Most of us on the fair circuit do 15 minute readings- usually between $25 and 50 depending on where.
I do know psychics who get $250 for a reading- for an hour.
$50 for a 15 minute reading is very good, but frankly, out in the boonies, I doubt that's the going rate, maybe in Detroit. Even at $50 each 15 minutes, that would only have been $800 for her afternoon. Does Hart really think we aren't going to do the math?!
I'm also getting sick of psychopaths and sociopaths; how about a good old crime of passion or a real jackass who isn't mentally ill?

Been waiting for Maddie and Nick to marry through the entire series, so happy their day is finally here! The novel begins talking about their upcoming wedding but then a murder takes place, and there is all kinds of strange goings on with others in the Bay to remind us as readers that the course of love doesn’t always flow smoothly and for this novel there are perils indeed as Maddie and Nick attempt to unravel the villain.

Love the details at the end and (so delighted for Maddie and Nick!)

There are changes within the cast this time which is a relief too during this particular plot since it is about love and its consequences and perils when poor choices are made. It’s fascinating in that respect and to see how choices have ripple effects for all those in the story and how they respond differently. The author is a great writer, really enjoyed this series. Great ending and an absolutely worthwhile read

Satisfying and bittersweet

Fantastic from start to finish! I love the skillful counterpoInt of a completely toxic relationship compared to Nick's and Maddie's meant to be love and upcoming nuptials. Solving the mystery just serves to highlight the differences in the people involved. While the shooter is not surprising, the two-part aspect certainly is, as well as what someone can see! (Honestly, though, when someone you trust warns you to RUN NOW...! I'm just sayin'.) Someone is trying to move on, someone else is merely trying (as usual!), and, while the ending may not be what I thought I wanted it was exactly what I needed. And here I am, again...with a great big smile. Thank you, Lily Harper Hart.

I pretty much love all of Lily Harper Hart's books. I think this is the 4th series I've read of hers, and they are all fabulous fun. The characters are just outstanding - well developed with real personalities and both strengths and flaws.

Maddie is a sweet person. She's sensitive to what others think of her and her friends, and just wants to live her life in peace and happiness with Nick, her best friend since they were 5. Nick is a police officer, and has loved Maddie his whole life. They reconciled when she returned to town, and are now days away from their wedding.

But first, one more murder mystery to solve! A man is shot in his own home. Did the wife do it? Or one of his mistresses? (yes, plural). Can they solve it before their wedding?

I really like how the series concluded, however, the representation of an autistic person left a lot to be desired. The behaviors portrayed were not wrong necessarily, but the terms and descriptions used were old terms that the autistic community have asked people to stop using. While I did say that the behaviors portrayed were not wrong, seeing as it was describing one character and not autistic people as a whole, the character showed more signs of sociopathy than autism. Many people are under the misconception that autistic people don't feel emotions but the actuality is they are overwhelmed by them and have trouble processing.

Hmmm

This series isn't l harper harts best. The talking - over minor things between Maddie and Nicky is long and convoluted. The have pages long talks about the past, their feelings, don't go there or do that, etc etc. If 80% of that was cut out the books would be better. I actually started skipping pages by book 7. Shame as the storyline were good . Also, maude was a background piece in this series. She flitted in and out but it was always what are u up to, she didn't have a larger part in the books. The Ivy. Series and other two are a much better read

Simply Amazing!

As the series finally, I expected that there would be less focus on the mystery and more on the wedding. I should have known better than that! Amanda M Lee does it once again, delivering a clever mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end. Maddie and Nick get their wedding, of course, but not before they solve the mystery of how a cheating husband was shot, who did it, and how he died. Wonderful!

“This is going to be the best life, love.”

Finally, the day we’ve all been waiting for. For those of you looking for some dramatic ending that doesn’t end with Nick and Maddie together, look somewhere else. I hope this isn’t the end of this series. I look forward to reading about these characters that find laughter and love in any situation. Amazing series! Awesome read! Enjoy!!!

Grave Wedding begins with talk about Maddie and Nick getting married. The big day is coming up soon, but when Nick gets a new case things take a strange turn. Now they must figure out who is a murder and what's really going on.

This one was okay. I liked it, and I enjoyed Maddie and Nick together. I'm glad they finally got their HEA!

GREAT Ending!

Ms. Hart finished this series with a superb final scene, fulfilling all promises inherent in the previous books and ramping up the conclusion with a special twist.

I loved the series and didn't want it to end. Onward to another of her series, and I'm sure it will be just as good....

Binge read the entire series. I enjoyed it. A friends to lovers series. The author has kind of the same theme for her books. Cop and paranormal girl fall in love.

Maddie was actually a bit annoying to me at first in the series. There was NO self esteem. It made me annoyed and sad she was weak. A few characters I wanted smack cough Cassidy and Marla. I didn’t like how the hero and heroine were constantly apologizing for past mistakes. Even when they said they weren’t apologizing they were still apologizing just not as nicely.

It was a fun series with many different mysteries. This town sees a lot murders for it being so small. I would read more books in this series if she writes more. They’re fun for a sweet read with some over the top lovey dovey sappy people.

I would recommend but if you’re looking for a sexy erotic read this is NOT it.

Wow!

I highly recommend this extraordinary book ,and the in which it is to all readers who love paranormal mystery and romance.
If this is the 1st. book in this series you found, it can be read as a standalone. But you will have missed their epic journey back to true love, and Maddie's hilarious grandma's antics. Enjoy!

This is the last book in this series. The series is awesome. Each adventure was better than the last. The romance was off the charts. Of course, the romance is always the best part of Lily Harper Hart's books. I'm sorry for this series to end, but I'm excited to start another of this author's series. You're definitely missing out if you don't read the Ivy Morgan series.

I have enjoyed this series. The wedding day is finally here. Maddie and Nick have to solve a murder first. Able to figure out rather quickly who shot Trevor but the actual killer was delayed in discovery.
Too bad we will never find out what kind of mother Marla, Maddie's nemesis, will make. Maddie and Nick will be fantastic parents I believe.

Grave wedding

Great as usual. Interesting how some of the storylines turned out and where others are heading. Really enjoyed the storyline, thought for sure it was one person, when in fact it wasn't. Liked the guessing game.

Only fifteen books?

I so loved this series. Enjoyed the mysteries in each case. Hate that they have ended. Was hoping to read about the time the children came, and if they had the gift too. Why couldn't you continue writing about them? So disapointed.

Loved it?

While I loved reading this book it was a little bit of a let down, the book ended right before the wedding and is the last book out, there had better be more books coming because to leave it this way isn't the right way to do it

Intriguing mystery. Twists and turns abound. Schmaltzy romance, but it IS Maddie and Nicky 's wedding story, too. So all is well. Excellent story. Want more books in this series
