University student Demir Higgs is on the fast-track to graduate with honors and dive straight into medical school. His career plan leaves little time for dating, so after he catches his casual boyfriend cheating, Demir attends an anonymous sex party, determined to finally lose his virginity. He chooses an older alpha in a red mask and the man takes Demir apart piece by glorious piece, worshiping his body in ways Demir never imagined. Too bad he’ll never see the man again.

After his bondmate disappeared eleven years ago, Senior Constable Brandt Lars fell into his work and avoided dating, disinterested in relationships. Not until the boy in the blue mask. Introducing the young beta to the wonders of sex was Brandt’s absolute pleasure, and he can’t stop thinking about him—until Brandt comes face to face with Blue in the form of Demir Higgs, the middle son of a work colleague. Demir is equally drawn to Brandt and their chemistry is through the roof. The age difference is an issue, but their attraction is real, and stolen moments turn into a secret relationship they both enjoy…but something is still missing.

Years ago, Oliver Strand lost all his memories in a horrible car wreck that left his face scarred and his sense of smell obliterated. But he built a new life for himself and his son, and now he’s visiting Sansbury Province as a guest speaker at a territory-wide anti-sex-trafficking conference. What he does not expect to find at the conference is an alpha he doesn’t know, but who insists Oliver is his missing mate Ollie Lars, who disappeared the same week as Oliver’s accident.

Brandt is overjoyed to discover his bondmate is alive, despite Oliver having no memory of his old life in Sansbury, and he’s determined to keep both mate and son in his life. But he’s also in love with Demir and doesn’t want to lose him. Demir is ready to be the bigger person and step aside so the Lars family can be together again—until Demir realizes he and Oliver have unique chemistry of their own. And they’ve also both been claimed by the same alpha.

Can a grumpy alpha in love with two men, an omega with no memory of his mate, and a beta determined to chart his own course find a way to navigate the complicated waters of a poly relationship? Or will all three men end up stranded alone with broken hearts?

NOTE: This is a non-shifter, M/M/M Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens, but they are working toward gaining more civil rights and protections under the law. Series warnings for mentions of past physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Additional warnings for extremely kinky sex, including dirty talk, light spanking, biting, edging, roughhousing, come-swapping, and threesomes. This series is best read in numerical order.

Very rarely in the years I have read books, have I ever had one hit me with such intensity and suspense that I almost had to quit reading. Because it's scary-ish. You know something is going to happen. It's like being able to see a crash before it happens. And you know that someone is going to be hurt, if not everybody, and your poor heart don't know if it can take it. Shew. In-tense. Of course, I couldn't put it down. No way in hell. I freaking love this series. And it gets more intense and better with every book.

I don't know which of these three I wanted to hug more. Demir, Brandt or Ollie. All have had traumatic things happen to them but no worse than Ollie, I think. Brandt and Ollie have been in love for years. Since children. And when they finally mated, everything fell into place. The only hard part was not being able to have children. Ollie was beginning to feel like less of an omega, afraid he would disappoint Brandt. But Brandt didn't care as long as he had Ollie. Finding out they were pregnant after six long years of trying, it was bliss. But that bliss was short lived. A few weeks later, Ollie disappeared. For ten long years, Brandt grieved until at a party he met a beautiful young man in a blue mask who finally made him feel alive.

Demir had his heart broke and went in search for a booty call. He was twenty and tired of being a virgin. When at a party, he met a big strong gorgeous alpha in a red mask that rocked his entire world. He'd never be able to have sex without comparing. He wish he knew who he was. At a gala, he got his wish. The chemistry sparked and exploded and they decided to see each other. Within a few months they were in love, but private about it. When at a conference, 10 years later, the shock of the century came about. Ollie was alive. But didn't remember anything.

Right here, I wanted to stop. That train wreck? Oh man! But I couldn't. It's like watching a scary movie through your fingers. Lol. Brandt wants Ollie back because that's his bondmate. But Ollie remembers nothing. Yet his instincts are telling him this is true. And Demir. Who fell in love with Brandt. Brandt fell in love with Demir too. But now what? Ahhhh. Biting the nails here.

I love each of these guys though. Demir had a lot to prove to everyone it seemed. Seemed everyone kept forgetting he is a man now. And being new to the dating world made it hard for anyone to believe he knew his heart and what he wanted. He has such a big heart. He has so many qualities that make him incredible. He's strong, yet stubborn, bit a heart full of gold. He is loyal and loving and committed to making the world a better place. Even if he's 'just a beta’.

Brandt is a wonderful alpha. He's got all those alpha traits but he's more. A lot of alphas are assholes, but Brandt is caring and considerate. He's thoughtful and loving and genders don't matter to him. Unless it's to protect his mates. He doesn't mind being on 'bottom’ or orally taking care of his men. Being grief stricken changed him for a while. Understandable. But Demir brought him back to life.

The worst was Ollie, though. Finally getting his hopes and dreams along with his bondmate, he's taken and then was in an accident that almost killed him and caused him to forget everything. He's such a beautiful soul. But terrified at finding out where his life really was. He knew something was missing from his life but this was beyond what he thought.

Life was changing for all three. None knew where they fit anymore. All were terrified. But they all knew they had to try. And I, of course, cried. Of course, relationships are not easy. And with all their battles, theirs was a definite change. But to them...worth it.

This book was amazing. As in every one in this series, the characters, despite their pasts and troubles, are breathtaking. They are real. They love with their all their souls and they never give up. No matter how hard. I'm in love with every book and can't recommend them enough. No matter how much nail biting or how many tissues.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.5 stars

Claimed is the seventh book in A.M. Arthur’s Breaking Free series and this story is everything I have been wanting from this series for a while now. I have noted in past reviews that I was starting to feel that the books were becoming repetitive, particularly the last four that all dealt with the fight club omegas. The stories seemed to follow a similar formula of an abused or endangered omega who found their alpha bondmate, but was wary of getting involved. Arthur has created such an interesting world in this series, I was eager to see it explored with different storylines and conflicts, and Arthur totally nails it with this book.

What I think works so well here is that this story is still very much grounded in the series, both with the politics and the world building, as well as with the inclusion of many familiar side characters. Yet at the same time, we have a new and different conflict that really adds something fresh to the series. The two main issues are the relationship among Demir, Oliver, and Brandt, as well as the mystery behind Oliver’s kidnapping. The world building still plays a big role, just in different ways. For example, the issues of omega rights running throughout the series come up as Oliver is technically still under Brandt’s authority as his bonded omega, despite having no memory of their past. We also see it play out in the alpha, beta, and omega dynamics among the three men, particularly in Demir’s concerns about whether as a beta he can ever fully be part of their alpha/omega connection.

I wasn't sure if this was going to be 4 or 4.5 but went up with it since it started as a 5 star read for me and I really didn't want to have to put this book down once I started reading. A triad is a first for this series and with a bit of a time jump from the last book (about 4 years), a peek at life in another Province and the focus shifted from the fight ring to a new investigation, I feel like the story has breathed new life into this enjoyable series.

Demir is now 20 and focusing on studying and starting med school and Brandt is 38 (although the cover model looks so much older I was expecting him to be at least 50) and finally taking a baby step out of grieving for the mate who disappeared ten years ago. The relationship started with an anonymous hook-up but soon becomes much more. The men are keeping it secret until they figure out if it will work, but they spend a lot of time together getting to know each other and having super hot and dirty sex. Both men are falling in love after a few months together when they get the shock of their lives as Brandt's long-missing mate turns up with a different name, a son and no memory of his life before his disappearance. While it feels like Brandt may, in fact, be his mate and Sansbury feels familiar, Oliver isn't just going to trust the tales he is told, but is willing to spend some time with Brandt to figure things out and that includes getting to know Brandt's boyfriend. But Demir wonders how he could ever compete with the bondmate and son Brandt and Oliver share.

This story was definitely emotional and I really liked the way the three men worked as a triad. They talk and spend time in different combinations. Oliver isn't the same man he was 10 years ago and he and Brandt have to get to know each other again, while Demir and Oliver also need to forge a relationship.

I had some issue (and really why this wasn't a 5-star read) with the way Oliver protested that it was going to take a while for him to trust in things enough for him to be completely open and vulnerable, but that sort of went out the window in very short form once they started having sex. I really wanted to see him and Brandt working a bit more to get things back on track and making things work, but sex and Demir's presence seemed to be the cure. Demir is a wonderful character and was the one with the most to lose in the situation and I could easily see Oliver falling for him as well. I'm certainly not complaining about the sex - it was off the charts hot and also served to show different sides to the personalities of these alpha, beta and omega characters that maybe didn't line up with those gender expectations.

The investigation into Oliver's disappearance is opened up again with some shocking findings. It also seems that there may be more to come on this story in future books. Like all the other stories there are previous characters that drop in and have had some life changes since the last book and it was good to catch up, but for the most part the focus is solely on Demir, Brandt and Oliver.

This is one of my favorites of the series and I really would like to see a story that follows-up with the triad. The end of the book is really only the beginning of their new life and with poly couples a rarity in Sansbury, I think there could still be a lot to tell.

I found parts of this story to be interesting and entertaining. It’s when they delved into the sex between all parties that the story lost me and I pretty much skimmed most if not all of them. I really was invested in Oliver and Brandt reuniting and overcoming the obstacles of Oliver’s memory loss and lack of scent. I loved Demir and felt bad for him at times. I think he had the hardest time coming to terms with their relationship. Overall, a pretty good book.

So hot it melted my Kindle!

Wow! This was such an amazing story.
Demir has been a favorite of mine since he was introduced. He gets his HEA in spectacular fashion.
This is an mmm book and it completely works. Everyone plays their part to equal out the other. It’s beautiful. There are some scenes in here that I swear melted my Kindle..they were SO hot!

As from previous books in the series, we get a check in with the other people in books 1-7.
I love the continuation of previous story threads.

Love..love .. this universe. I hope it never ends.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Yet another amazing story.
It was a sweet story about an alpha whose omega disappeared years ago.
He is finally ready to moveonand start a new life for himself and his young boyfriend
Suddenly the past pays a visit and with that a new beginning

I love am Arthur’s books
This one had too many sex scenes for my liking. And the scenes were too descriptive. But you can just skip those if you prefer.

If you haven’t read this series then do it! ;)

I received a free copy of this title to read and review for Wicked Reads

The first 50% was a 5-star read for me. However, it went downhill from there for me. 3 stars overall.

Claimed is the 7th installment of the Breaking Free series, and I suggest against reading it as a standalone. While the core of the book wouldn't cause any confusion, many threads and characters are connected to past books.

The last installment was a bust for me, so I was apprehensive about reading Claimed. As a believer in polyamory and a fan of reading it, this had me clicking the book open, even though I had others I needed to review first.

Claimed is more focused on Demir and Brandt, which I appreciated and had me tapping the pages at a voracious rate. The relationship building was more slow-burn, which was ignited by a healthy dose of passion and lust. Angst. Angst. And more Angst. Brandt is the subordinate of Demir's father, not to mention the large age-gap.

Brandt lost his mate 11 years ago, while Ollie was on his way to a checkup for his pregnancy. Poof. Oliver disappears and Brandt goes off the rails. A chance meeting between Brandt and a young university student sparks life back into him.

50% of the book was filled with slow-burn relationship building and a whole lot of angsty lust. Fears. Anxiety. Insecurity. Budding love.

Then Oliver is found and it all goes off the rails again. For me. *see the fact that I said I adore polyamory*

What I don't adore is how Oliver was alone in a strange city, surrounded by strangers, emotionally distraught, terrified, and just learned he is Brandt's lost mate, after losing the mate he had for over a decade. He had amnesia and now knows who he used to be, but he is not Ollie anymore.

Sex doesn't erase trauma. Sex doesn't erase emotional distress. A page earlier, Oliver is terrified, setting up firm boundaries, because even though Brandt knows who he USED to be, Oliver doesn't know Brandt. Oliver doesn't know Demir, either. Demir knows nothing of Oliver. Brandt doesn't know anything of this version of Oliver, only knowing a young Ollie. Life experiences, time, and more than decade of amnesia changed Ollie into a grown Oliver.

3 strangers seated down after breakfast to get to know who they are TODAY. I adored this. It made sense. It made sense in how the characters would behave dictated by human nature. I couldn't wait to read more... with the click of the page, I had to stop reading out of pure rage.

Cue sex.

In the middle of a discussion. Cue sex out of nowhere. Abrupt, for no good reason but to titillate and add shock-value. While we're at it, have Brandt tell Oliver all about how Demir likes sex, in great detail. When he has only ever touched Brandt. Oversharing with a stranger for someone who is one step from a virgin. Automatic poly relationship and sex.

It cheapened the story. It lessened their connection. It made it look as if those in a polyamorous relationships were only in it for sex.

Sex heals all wounds. Immediately.

Oliver was reserved, terrified, and ready to run to whence he came... a page later, sex with TWO strangers he was scared of. A page after the sex, he said he would sleep on the sofa, because... you know, boundaries.

While gone for two weeks, Brandt would call him and he would listen to Brandt and Demir have sex. We (the reader) see no connection, slow rebuilding of their previous relationship, as neither of them are the Brandt and Ollie they used to be. No building of a friendship and relationship between Oliver and Demir.

Just sex.

Sorry if I'm taking it too seriously, but after 50% relationship building between Brandt and Demir, as the reader, I don't know Oliver. Brandt and Demir don't know Oliver. This is an escalated quickly situation after the previous pacing, which erased the possibility for me to buy into their poly relationship outside of gratuitous, meaningless sex, with BDSM tossed in to titillate.

FYI: polyamory and BDSM are my thing- not a prude in any way, but it better make sense.

As I said, I adored Brandt. I adored Demir and his entire family. I adored the story. I even adored the possibility of Oliver. The first 50% of the book was amazing.

One scene ruined it for me, and every time they had sex but didn't forge a bond, I lost faith in the author. Demir, Brandt, and Oliver deserved more, because we readers didn't get to experience Brandt & Ollie's relationship, so they are new to us, and Ollie is NOT the Oliver of today.

This author is a hit or miss for me. Either I am absolutely fanatical about the novel, or it's a major miss. This is the first time I've experienced both in the same novel by this author.

Claimed (Breaking Free #7) by A.M. Arthur
4 stars
M/M/M Romance
Triggers: Male pregnancy, attempted kidnapping, amnesia, Poly relationship
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Demir is working hard to get in to the medical program because he has made it his mission to cure his good friend's disease. Being a beta isn't all that tricky. Being a big brother is the highlight of his life. Finding love is another story completely. Demir finds himself as the other man when he tries to surprise his boyfriend. While he's more angry than heartbroken, Demir finds himself still a virgin. He takes it upon himself to attend a party he heard about where the attendees are masked. He feels that this is the prefect venue to lose his virginity.

Brandt Lars has been existing for the last decade. When his pregnant bondmate went missing, Lars was unable to continue really living. He did his job well, but at the end of the day, he retreated back home and drank himself in to oblivion. Lars did this until one day, he realized his bondmate, Ollie, would have been angry with him for not getting on with his life. Lars loves his job and is starting to venture out to social engagements again. It's how he finds himself at a masked ball.

Demir and Lars have a hot and heavy hookup and at the end, because they didn't exchange names, thought that they hot encounter would never be repeated. But, as luck would have it, Demir recognizes Lars' blue eyes and Lars recognizes Demir too. They start their relationship in secret, mainly because Demir's dad is Lars' boss. With emotions flying high, Demir knows that he's falling in love with Lars. Demir is also aware that there are still feelings that Lars will always carry for his former bondmate.

When Lars' past collides with his present, it's shocking for everyone involved. Lars is so happy to find his bondmate, Ollie again and to learn that his son was born. But Lars also has feelings for Demir and doesn't want to just abandon that relationship because his bondmate has been found. Ollie is hesitant to start his relationship back up because while things feel familiar, he can't remember his bondmate, Lars. The chemistry between all three of these men is off the charts. None of them can deny that they could have amazing chemistry and a fantastic relationship, but they are also worried about their community's prejudices.

This is a sweet story about finding love after loss, accepting a new reality and not letting go of love. I have loved each of these stories in this series and hope more will come.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Claimed is book seven in the Breaking Free series. It can be read as a stand alone but to gain the full impact of the characters the series should be read in the order the author intended.

Brandt Lars has been living in his own personal hell since his mate disappeared without a trace eleven years ago. Brandt is finally ready to not just exist but to finally live in the time he has left in his life. When he meets "Little Blue" a masked stranger at a sex party, something clicks inside of him. When he finds out Little Blue is the son of his boss, he knows he should be attracted to him but he can't stop especially after the night they shared together. Brandt is finally able to find love and passion again.

Demir is Isa Higgs middle son. Fast tracking his schooling to get to medical school to be a researcher to find a cure for Donal Syndrome. He's never been attracted to a "type" of man. Being a beta he's never had to rely on being scented and the mating bond. After finding out he's been cheated on he makes a quick decision to attend a sex party to lose his virginity. "Big Rea" is completely unexpected for an alpha, sweet and caring about his comfort level and pain. Demir never expected to know Big Red but when he figures it out he needs Brandt in his life.

Just when Brandt and Demir are getting to know each other and fall in love. The mate that Brandt thought he'd never see again comes back into town not remembering his mate or his life before the car accident. Can Brandt walk away from Demir? Is an alpha capable of loving more than his omega? Is Oliver willing to come back to Brandt, a man he doesn't know? Can Demir walk away from the only man he's ever loved or can he even imagine loving someone else as much as he love Brandt?

I loved Brandt, Demir and Oliver. The chemistry is high between the three. Even though Brandt is an alpha he's willing to do whatever he needs to to make the men in his life happy. I read this one in one sitting. I had to know what was going to happen. There were moments my heart broke for Demir not knowing where his place was in the poly relationship. At one point I was brought to tears.

I can't wait to see what's next, as this is quickly becoming one of my favorite series!

I received a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads

I have read all the previous books in this series and this is by far my favorite one!! After reading the prologue I felt like "oh no, I am going to need lots of tissues". Boy did I. I feel like I cried or teared up at least a dozen times reading this book. First for Brandt and Ollie, then for Brandt and Demir, then for Brandt, Oliver and Demir. This book was long and I really wanted it to be longer. I needed more. These guys worked so well together and I just loved their story. My only regret was that we didn't get to see Demir and Eriq interact, I think that was a big missing piece and we the reader needed that. I hated to see this book end but I hope there is another book and we see these characters again.

This is book 7 in the Breaking Free series, although there are 8 books, with a short that spans across 3 and 4. I would STRONGLY, HIGHLY, ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY recommend that you read the other books before this one. BUT while I do say that, this one is far more a stand alone than the others. Things are recapped and caught up, but it takes a different path, as well as winding with the on-going story arc that continues through the other books.

We met Brandt, an Alpha, along the way: he is boos to the other police officers in the series, boos to ALL of them. He lost his pregnant mate, Ollie, ten years ago without a trace and has finally decided he should (mostly) move on. Going to an anonymous sex party seems the best way to get some sexual relief, without the commitment he cannot make. Meeting Little Blue, however, makes him change his mind. We met Demir, a beta, in book four, Found. He is Isa Higgs youngest son and was 15 at the time. Now an adult and betrayed by the person he thought he loved, Demir also attends said party. Big Red is just the person who pushes all of Demir's buttons and then some. There is a true connection between these two, but when they discover who Brandt is to Demir's father, they keep their relationship a secret, for now. Oliver is in the province to speak at a conference about omega trafficking. He cannot remember a time before ten years ago, when he was found in a van wreck. Meeting Brandt makes him feel . . . .something . . . .he's not sure what though. when Brandt explains who he is to Oliver, things begin to drop into place. But when Brandt tells Oliver about Demir, and that he simply cannot choose, Oliver presents a solution that will at least give them all a chance. Can they make it work?

This one, I found, was like a watching a train wreck coming at ya,it really was. You KNOW there is going to be fall out when Demir and Brandt find out who they are to each other. You KNOW there is going to be a big ole mess when Brandt and Ollie come face to face again. You KNOW that Ollie is going to fight this with every fibre of his being. You bloody well KNOW the Oliver's brother in law is not as . .pure . . in his intentions to Oliver after the death of his husband. An you KNOW, that when Isa finds out about the three of them, he is gonna go nuts. And there ain't a damn thing you can do to stop it! You just watch, and read, and wait and see how it all turns out! Amazing reading, I have to say.

I loved that it was OLLIE who came up with the solution to their predicament. That HE suggested they at least try to be a poly-family, since in his home of the last ten years it really is quite common. Loved that Ollie took Demir into his heart very quickly, the younger man making him feel as safe as Brandt did.

But Isa?? I wanted to punch Isa bloody Higgs so bad! After everything he has told his sons about being betas, that they can do anything, be anything they want to, as much as the alphas can, and he goes and says THAT to Demir! Not saying what, but if you've read these books, you can probably guess. He does redeem himself, but still, a punch was heading his way!

All the other guys pop up in this books, at some point or other, and it's great watching the babies grow up together. Seeing them already forming bonds: alpha, beta and omega all together is great. It would be amazing to catch up with these babies, as they grow and have babies of their own!

So, now, I'm sad! I only started this series because books one and two were shared with me, and I needed something to clear my head after a particularly heavy book. I thought this might be a good hangover cure! And BOY was I wrong, in the best way! Not a hangover cure, not in the least, but another deep dark book that pulled my into an eight book series, that did NOT let me go!

Thank you, Ms Arthur, for pulling into your worlds. I have some other books to read next!

5 amazing, but sad to see it end, stars

Fantastic alpha, omega, beta menage story.

I’ve been a huge fan of A.M. Arthur’s Breaking Free series right from the very beginning. In some ways it’s hard to believe that the series is just a bit over one year old and in others it seems like it’s been around much longer.

The author advises that you need to read this series in order and I agree for the most part. However, I think that Claimed could be read as a standalone. I know readers are sometimes reluctant to start a series that already has so many books and that they are also reluctant to jump in in the middle of one – OK, I can’t really speak for all readers but these things do apply to me. I’m also the type that always tries to read a series in order. Now having said all of that, I still think that Claimed stands alone fairly well. Characters from the other books do appear in this story but you don’t really need to know their backstories before reading it. I can almost guarantee however, that you will want to read the other books if you do start with this one.

There is a long and detailed blurb for the book so I’m not going to repeat it here. The heat level in this book almost melted my tablet and the kink factor is fairly high for an A.M. Arthur story and I loved it. Demir is a young beta and the way he falls for a much older alpha, Brandt, got to me in every way. I laughed at the antics of the kids and cried for all of the hurt that the MCs (main characters) endured.

The feelings of love between Demir and Brandt seemed to jump off of the pages. When Brandt’s long missing mate, Oliver, is found it throws a wrench into the relationship these two have been forming. Much to their surprise, though, Oliver wants and needs to include Demir in his relationship with Brandt.

I can’t say enough good things about this book. Once again, A.M. Arthur has crafted a story with a high heat level, intrigue, mystery and so much love and tenderness among all of the featured characters. I hope she continues to write books in this world.

**Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure in hopes of an unbiased opinion, a review was not a requirement.**

Claimed is Book 7 in A.M. Arthur’s Breaking Free series and cannot be read as a standalone! This is a fantastic series and world that the author has created, and I highly recommend reading the entire series!

I was excited to get Demir’s story! He is such a special character who I’ve loved since his initial introduction. Brandt Lars isn’t new to the series either, but he’s played a small role. The author did a brilliant job with his backstory and heartbreaking history. And then the surprising addition of Oliver to the story furthered the heartbreaking theme.

The kidnapping ring goes much further than their province and for the first time made me curious about other provinces. From this book and previous ones, we know each province tends to be cut off from each other and they all have different beliefs. Maybe once the author runs out of Sansbury couples, she’ll explore the other provinces and create HEA’s all over their worlds. ;-)

In a lot of books, I skip the sex scenes, or read the first one and skip the rest. This book had many scenes and when I got to the end. I realized I read them all. The author does a great job of keeping it from being repetitive and uses it to really enhance the building of Demir, Oliver and Brandt’s relationship. I truly love this series. I love the world that the author has created and even the smallest things bringing this world together. If you have not read this series, or if you’re looking to try an M-Preg book, this series should be the one you start with. Grab all of them now!

“We’re all broken in our own ways, and those things are what make us perfect for each other.”
I enjoyed this so much! I suspected that I would, but once again AM Arthur has impressed me with her ability to bring this world to life with vivid colour and I found myself completely absorbed by these characters. I’ve been impatiently waiting for Demir to grow up enough to find a love of his own but never would have suspected the form that it came in. With all the complications that come from navigating a polyamorous relationship and an extra bite of spice keeping the chemistry between these 3 men at near combustible levels, I couldn’t get enough. Brandt, Demir & Oliver complement each other so well, with each bringing a much needed and completely unique set of qualities to the relationship to keep it balanced. At no point did I feel like excluding a character from the dynamic would still lead to a HEA, they clearly and distinctly needed all the parts to form the whole. That’s not to suggest that it was an easy path for them, there were the inevitable struggles as they found their way to each other, but their commitment to finding a way to make it work was reassuring at their most difficult moments. There’s a lot of history tying this motley cast of characters together, so I’d recommend mpreg fans read this series in order, but it’s well worth the journey that brought us to this point.

Another great addition to the Breaking Free series

As soon as I saw this book, I one-clicked. I didn't stop to read the blurb, so I had absolutely no idea what the story was about. Of course, I was not disappointed with what I found.

This is the story of senior constable Brandt Lars. We've seen him before as the grumpy, alphahole, senior constable on night shift. Here, we learn exactly why he was the way he has been, and get to see him fall in love...twice.

This is the first ABO menage I have read. I have read many menage stories in the omegaverse world, but never between a mated pair and a beta. It is beautifully done.

This is a May/December/poly romance. Isa Higgs' youngest son, Dimir, from his first mate is the beta involved. As usual, the MCs are well developed and have very strong personalities and opinions. The usual omega group and their families are part of the story, but not as much as in previous books.

This is a story about healing, finding new love, reuniting with a past thought lost, and finding out that the past and present are a beautiful combination. I wish a few things had been followed up at the end that had been mentioned throughout the book, but there are no cliffhangers, so no worries there. These were just my own personal fantasies that I wanted to see fulfilled.

If you have enjoyed this series so far, you definitely need to read this book. It is beautifully written, and of course, it is a HEA.

Happy reading!

4.5 Stars ~ A brokenhearted alpha, an exuberant young beta, and an omega who has no memory of who he was is the conflict in this seventh book of the ‘Breaking Free’ series by A.M. Arthur. I have enjoyed each of these installments a ridiculous amount partly because the worldbuilding is quite spectacular and the characters are enthralling. I strongly recommend that these books be read in order as there is too much backstory and history regarding this future Earth where alphas are the top of the food chain and omegas are barely hanging on at the bottom.

It wasn’t until I read book six (‘Feel’) that I learned some of Brandt Lars’s background – how he lost his bondmate ten years before and no one could ever discover what had happened – and when I began reading this installment, I discovered that his beloved Ollie had been pregnant when he disappeared. Not only had he been expecting their first child but it had taken them six years to conceive. Why am I mentioning this? Mainly because the other times Brandt has appeared in any of the previous books, he has been a complete asshole and discovering all of this made me see him in a new light.

Claimed is the 7th book in the Breaking Free series by A.M. Arthur. Demir Higgs is a young university-aged beta who is on a fast track to becoming a researcher to cure a disease the child of his stepfather's friend had. Brandt, who is a senior constable, lost his omega bondmate mysteriously one day when he leaves to go to a doctor appointment. Can a beta and an alpha form a long-lasting relationship?

Demir is a really good character. Although he is a beta, he is as caring as an omega and as fierce as an alpha. Despite Oliver coming back I really love how Demir was not thrown away and added into the relationship although after reading the past books and knowing about how possessive alphas get, I wondered how it would work out.

I have to say I am really pleased Demir got his book. It did not go as I thought it would or even how I hoped it would but it had a good MMM storyline. The ending was abrupt and I hoped there would be more. I really hope this was not the last book but I honestly have no clue who would be next.

Well known from this series, Demir Higgs and Brandt Lars, are two of the last characters I thought would find happiness together....but WOW.

Demir is a university student studying to be a doctor, finds out his boyfriend is actually married. He decides anonymity at a sex party is the way to lose his virginity.

Little does he know, his anonymous partner, isn’t a stranger. Brandt Lars, more than a few years older than Demir and a coworker of Demir’s father is tasked with making Demirs first time as good as he can...all while wearing a mask.

Throughout this series, Brandt has been a loner, and we quickly find out why. Losing one mate under suspicious circumstances can break a man, but a second chance at love, times two. makes for an awesome book!!

May-September, second chances and polygamy....what more can you ask for?...

Loved this book and this entire series!! Highly recommended!

What a rush! Stupendous story!

This was a combination book: a mystery, an erotic novel, a gay romance, a first-timer gay romance, a gay menage romance, the story of a father and a son, the solving of a cold case, the solving of the dissolution of a sex- trafficking ring, a memory loss case, and so on, and so on, and so on. This story was quite complicated and the author did a fabulous job keeping all the parts as understandable as she did. I didn't have to go back to re-read ever when I picked up the book again over the course of three evenings. Because she explained things so well as she was telling the story; she didn't make me have to fill in the blanks...I didn't realize there was going to be another book after feel and I'm so happy there was because I truly enjoyed revisiting everyone!

This is a powerful story in the "Breaking Free" series. Demir is a young college student who has featured in previous boos in the series as an especially compassionate, level-headed, intelligent beta who is a blessing to his entire family. Brandt Lars is a man who feels barely alive, never really healing after his pregnant omega, Oliver, disappeared 11 years ago. Demir and Brandt fall in love. Then, Oliver shows up unexpectedly with memory loss and a son in tow. How can these three men connect and will there be enough love to go around? This book does a great job of updating other characters from the series, in a natural way that adds to the storyline. The mystery of Oliver's disappearance has the constabulary busy. Love and passion abound. A very satisfying read!

Policeman Brandt has already fallen in love with the much younger student Demir when his bonded mate, who disappeared 11 years ago, comes back into his life. How can Brandt choose between his mate Oliver and his new love? And does he have to?

I didn't read the first six books in the series because of triggers, but the author did a great job of explaining how all the characters from the other stories fit together in this one. Next up is the final book in the series, Loved, which both tells the continued story about the triad, and their mutual friend's challenging decision to run for office.

If I'm only going to comment on one book in a series, it's usually the last one. But this one raised a couple of questions for me.

1. If I recall correctly, the villains in the fight ring conspiracy called themselves Red and Blue. So why on earth are those the secret identity colours being used in this book?

2. Has anyone else noticed that there seem to be an awful lot of fatal driving accidents amongst this group? About every other story has one. Lost his family - car accident; lost his memory - car accident.

3. Why does Eriq call Oliver daddy instead of omni? For that matter, shouldn't Liam be Demir's stepomegin, rather than stepdad?

Incredible Traid!! Steamy, emotional, intense, intrigue, and an amazing journey to love. Demir, Brandt and Oliver are three amazing men who share a wonderful connection. You will want to devour this book and all its plot twists and amazing story-line. I could not put this down as i read for hours, pushing aside needed weekend chores to enjoy this special read.

I have enjoyed this entire series and this book is an amazing addition. This book has all the feels for me and i know you will love it also.

This was a great m/m/m. I thought the relationship was given time to develop and communication was happening from the get-go.

It lost a star for me though because the kids didn't seem real. Like, all the description was about them, but there was never really any organic dialogue happening between the adults and kids. But that's a minor thing.

I jumped into this series at book 7, and its doable, but I can imagine this was more poignant if you started from book 1. But I still enjoyed reading it.

Best of the series!

This was probably my favorite of the entire series so far! Which is saying something because poly relationship books usually aren’t my favorite. I think a big part is because I love Demir so much. I have really liked him ever since he was introduced earlier in the series and I’m so happy he grew up and got his own story. I’m very much looking forward to the next book (and if I’m not mistaken, last book of the series). I’ve loved this world the author created.

This series gets better and better

Beta demir is determined that nothing should stand in his way of going to medical school and then into medical research. Brandt is an alpha who is still grieving the disappearance of his omega mate nearly 11 years ago. Oliver is an omega without a past, having lost his memory in a car accident almost 11 years ago. three lonely men who find each other. I won't say any more as this book is a must read and well worth it.

Starts off a little slow and disjointed but I am so happy to see Demir get his men. He has been one of my favortie characters for quite a while. He may be a beta but he has the fierceness of an alpha and tender heart of an omega. He is the best parts of both. Despite the bond between Brandt and Oliver they make Demir feel as an equal partner in the relationship. In fact he is the glue that binds them together. I got a little angry at Isa but parents are not perfect and they make mistakes too.
