Finding Zane

Rate this book
A girl with a broken heart, and an android with the power to heal it.

She's been selling dreams in her family's toy shop since she could talk, but practical Meredith has never believed in magic and fairytales. Until a special delivery brings to life a fantasy and plunges her into a delicious dream of her own.

When an unmarked container shows up at the store, Meredith assumes it's this year's latest craze. Instead, she finds a human-sized doll that resembles every anime lover's dream guy: spiky black hair, big blue eyes, and looks to die for.

But dolls can't talk and they most certainly can't kiss like a god. Except this one does, and as Meredith falls hard for Zane, he begs her to help find the company that made him. He swears he's real, and only she can discover the truth.

Meredith has to take a chance and believe in magic because someone very real is after Zane, and they'll kill everyone to get to him.

AI and Anime meet Mannequin in this Young Adult Science Fiction Romance where magic and science blend together into a dangerous and taboo love story.

This book is about a girl named Meredith who works in her Dad and Uncle's toy shop. One morning a delivery is made and Meredith discovers that what is inside the crate is an Artificial Intelligence Android who looks and acts remarkably real. She names him Zane.

She doesn't know why he was delivered to the store but quickly realizes that she is falling for him. How can that be? He is an Android but seems to be something more. Zane is dreaming and has memories of a past. That can't be right.

Suddenly people are trying to get Zane and the real mystery unfolds.

This story was a very easy read and the author did a fantastic job. I didn't want it to end.

Sci-fi love story

Love the innocence combined with technology in these books. It’s a quick read that doesn’t need thought. Think you will have to read this series in sequence but both books are a good quick read.
