The story starts to pick up with the advent of Yuchi and Kai with a sinister twist. Some spirits that come from a bone are not necessarily benign, protecting guardians of a family line. Master
Kurayori and Tsumugi keep breaking my heart, but at least Aki and Setsu seem to be doing well. So cute when Aki beams with pride over Setsu. The art is gorgeous as always even with having gone full digital with this volume. The cover art and title pages are beautiful. Ready for V.6!

Oddly paced

This was not a very good addition to this series. It was oddly paced, had too many characters and added a convoluted and violent sub-story. Tsumugi and Master Kurayori deserve a sweet romance, just like Akio and Setsu.

Interesting!

The story is definitely unfolding with both, “couples” but I would prefer if it would stay on the main one that was introduced in the first volume. I do like the added twist of this other guy looking for spirits with the abilities the two spirits have.

I wasn't expecting the mysterious new plot line. It's interesting, but again the relationships are moving slow and very vanilla, so...
We'll see, I guess.

My copy has editing issues were the pages are cropped wrong so I may have missed some things, but it was really...mediocore. Only 2 volumes left though so hopefully it picks back up.
