Deb is ripped away from her comfortable life on Earth and sold as a slave to a vicious alien. Six months later, all she has to live for is the child now growing inside her. Her child’s safety is worth any price, even submitting to the disturbingly attractive alien who has just purchased her.
Rastrath hides a sharp mind behind a careless facade. He may be a Prince of the Royal House, but he has always been despised for his mixed blood, even by his own mother. A female who values her child more than herself is an unexpected prize - one that comes wrapped in a luscious package.
When an unexpected danger forces them into a marriage of convenience, the stakes are raised. Can Deb trust Rastrath’s feelings for her are more than a desire to protect his investment? Can Rastrath follow his duty and build a family of his own at the same time?
Each book in the Alien Abduction series features a different couple and can be enjoyed as a standalone romance. (Note: contains possible triggers.)
Okay, so here's the deal, and I really hope I don't come off sounding like a jerk, but... I do not like stories in which the heroine is already pregnant for another dude. I really don't. And despite the fact that Deb became pregnant through unorthodox means (triggers people), I still couldn't get down with it.
It didn't help that Deb wasn't the warmest, most encouraging heroine I've come across. She made things so very difficult for me.
But Rast... yeah, this prince really made this story for me. He was sweet and kind and generous and loyal to a fault. He was also harboring a lot of hurt. And yet he was such a blessing to everyone, especially Deb. I love how dedicated and patient he was with her. He was the epitome of everything she needed and I loved every moment with him.
So while this wasn't my favorite story of the series, Rast definitely made an impression with me. Kudos to the author for that and for making me want to keep on reading!
I liked this story much more than the previous one I read. I really liked their love and how they ended up so happy together. This maybe my favorite so far.

If you’re looking for a fun weekend read with a bit of action and a happily ever after, then this is your book! Rast, at first, seems foreboding, but he is the absolute sweetest. (He also has a naughty streak, so don’t worry.) When he sees Deb he just has to have her! Unfortunately, Deb is pregnant and not in good health. Rast takes care of Deb like the gem that she is. When her previous very abusive owner comes back for her and wants his property (the baby), Rast comes through for Deb. You’ll have to read it to get all of the juicy details. Deb and the Demon is another fabulous addition to this series by Honey Phillips! 5 stars!
I absolutely loved Deb and the Demon by Honey Phillips, it had wonderful characters and a unique storyline. This is the first book that I’ve read by Honey but sure won’t be my last, I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. This book had everything you’d want in a story, it has action, adventure and a fabulous love story. Two people find what they were searching for in each other, a family. Deb ( human) and Rast (sheraen/kaisarian) have to overcome many obstacles to find their happy ever after. I highly recommend this book to everyone I was sorry to have it end.
The hero was pretty cool, his kindness went a long way..He seemed to assume her former masters followed the rules and was rather nieve as to how her experience affected her. She spent years being used for sex, that's how she survived. Why would she do differently for him? Especially since she didn't know his decision. Deb has an interesting reaction to thier sex. They were one of the few moments she delt with her trauma. She's a strong character but she never got the help she needed for her trauma other than her boss comforting her. It's nice that he would totally support her in getting help.
I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved Book 4 of this series!
The plot felt so much more developed, and all the characters, including the side ones were well thought out.
The author balanced heavy themes with humor and lighthearted moments .
And honestly, the MMC might be one of my favorites ever! I also loved that the FMC was a crier. Some of us are criers, and that’s okay. The MMC never once put her down for crying and I loved that so much!
I thought Cam and the Conqueror was the worst it could get, but we have another book that's horribly uncomfortable for me. We follow Debra and Rastrath...and Debra is a rape victim. And she's pregnant by rape. And you know what helps with rape trauma? Sex apparently. Also it's a quid pro quo situation because Debra has said she'll do "anything" in order to keep her baby. It was really hard to read and it almost made me quit again.
Aliens and humans, man. They mix well together and can make babies like it's nobody's business. Which, actually, isn't the greatest ability to have when you're a slave who's badly used and ends up pregnant, as in Deb's case. On the plus side, once Deb falls into Rast's orbit, she learns what it means to be treated like the treasure she is AND he's all in with her little bun in the oven.
Sweetly protective, possessive aliens who go all growly when their special someone is threatened are my thing. When they extend that protective instinct to any babies attached to said special someone, it's even better.
Which brings me around to Rast. He's drawn to Deb from the first and does what he can to protect her and her baby. He probably should have been a little more forthcoming about her status as a slave and her role in his household, but he steps up when he needs to and that's really the important part. Plus, he catches THE FEELINGS for her and he's a genuinely upstanding guy, which is SUPER IMPORTANT.
As for Deb, she's desperate and is willing to do anything to keep her baby safe. Falling into Rast's hands when she did is everything she could have asked for and more. After all, a prince/future king who happens to fall madly in love with her isn't the worst thing that could have happened.
Still loving these aliens and their human ladies. And the babies. LOVE THOSE BABIES.
This is a great series! This is the fourth book in this series, and I have read them all straight through. They are those special, couldn't put them down until I read the whole thing, anxiously waited to get to the next one as soon as it was available kind of book. The best thing about this set of characters, Deb and Rath, is that they need each other. I mean it seems like he's saving her, and he is, he totally is, but at the same time, she's saving him too. The things that Deb went through before she ended up with Rath, dude, that's a harsh back story, traumatic and soul-killing at the least. There is a lot of exciting plot action going on, threads that will lead to future stories I hope, and also many new characters introduced. I wasn't sure what to make of the Emperor, can't figure out what's going on with him, like is he a good guy or a pompous servant of classism, but again, the hints lead me to believe that he's also got a surprise coming for us too. I didn't get what happened with Precious either, it felt like a dangling thread, I thought there was a bond going on with Deb, but then there was no mention of her until the last few pages. All in all, I would totally recommend this book, this series, and this author because I am completely addicted to all three!
The book is ok, but a couple of issues are rather glaring. A very pregnant abuse survivor is extremely unlikely to jump into bed with a new owner, no matter what the circumstances. It was explained away, but my gut says she should be a lot more leery. After all, encouraging that close of contact puts a potential danger very close to her unborn child. I would have thought it more likely that she would keep him at arm's length as long as she could until he proved trustworthy. As protective as she seems to be, this really makes no sense. BUT, the rest of the book is pretty good, so I give it 4 stars. If you can suspend belief (not sure what it says about me that demonic-looking aliens get a pass, but an overly- trusting pregnant mom doesn't), this is a fun way to spend an hour or two. Looking forward to the Emperor's book.
Everything I enjoy in a Sci-fi romance. A sexy alien that just so happens to be my favorite color and a sassy strong heroine who had her world torn out from under her. She survives truly horrible experiences but managed to find the light and strength inside herself to forge an incredible new life. It was well written, very hot and sexy with just the right amount of angst. I will definitely read more from this author.
This story would have been much more enjoyable if the word "Sweetheart" had been used about 300 fewer times and if the sex scenes had been limited, because they weren't particularly good and had me cringing from sympathetic embarrassment. Otherwise, the story in itself was pretty interesting and I manage to catch all the major parts while skimming the rest.
𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖/𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: So after the previous book (which I definitely had a love/hate relationship with) this one made me so happy! I really loved Rastrath, he was a great hero. And an especially great hero in this series. I loved seeing the initiative with his character and slavery. His compassion and his love and understanding. Poor Deb went through so much and it was wonderful to see her overcoming her past and fears with Rast, and finding passion and love. He was perfect for her! And I loved how this book really gave us more new characters who saw Deb's internal demons and pain, and felt protective of her and angry on her behalf. We really got to see a big switch in the series where the hero and other side characters really show compassion and protectiveness and disgust towards what happens to not only the female MC but other females and slaves. It was a great switch up from the previous books and I felt good while reading this one. I didn't have any questionable moments while reading, due to the slavery issues or the hero of the story, as I did on many occasions in the previous books. So that alone really made this one a great read. It's not my favorite of the series so far (I actually started reading these out of order and so far the Kraken one is my fave!) But this was a close runner-up out of all of the ones I've read. I really loved these two characters together and I ADORE the side characters. I really want to see books for Studoc and the gargoyle alien who's name I can't recall right now. I looked at all of the other books so far in the series and don't see a book for either of them. I did see that Athtar has a book, who is another side character I was hoping to see a book for. So that's exciting! And Studoc and the gargoyle are a part of Athtar's crew so I'm wondering what we'll see from them in his book. I'm sort of hoping that at least Studoc remains single so I can ask the author (yes you, Honey lol) to give us a Studoc book!! I love him and I really want to read a happily ever after for him! But, aside from all of that this was very enjoyable and very steamy and a bit pregnancy-kinky which I loved!
Deb and the Demon tells the story of Deb, a young female who has been kidnapped and enslaved for the last few years of her life. Her last master impregnated her, so she is apparently even more special as they did not know you could produce a half-human baby...
Enter the "Demon", Rastrath (or Ras), who is a nobleman who doesn't want to be a nobleman. He buys Deb and is incredibly compassionate to her struggles. Immediately, he does not treat her like a slave or servant. He wants to make sure she is safe, healthy, and so is the baby.
As with all HP (Honey Phillips) books, the two grow to enjoy each other's company, and sympathize with each other. Ras hears about her trauma before coming to him, and he eventually makes it a personal plan to alleviate her PTSD. They have sex a few times, and he starts to see Deb's baby as his very own - biological or not.
The main "conflict" in the story is when her ex-owner decides he wants Deb back so he can have the baby. He doesn't really care what happens to Deb, but Ras isn't having any of it. Eventually, there's a big attack on Ras's home and (TW: alluded sexual assault scene). Eventually, the ex-owner is dealt with in a semi Disney-esque way, and the story concludes with them having two more kids.
I really love HP's stories. They're not complicated, things work out... they're the stories you read because you know it's going to give you everything you really want without the characters really having to sacrifice anything. You kind of know they'll fall in love, and there's always a baby.
The one thing I didn't care for is how HP really glossed over the conflict in the story. All throughout the book, the ex-owner is described as a literal SADIST. Deb has a lot of stories (TW: more alluded sexual assault descriptions). It's how she became pregnant in the first place.
However, I was left unfulfilled while reading over the conclusion of the main conflict in the book. Made me think "wait - that's it?" It's glossed over, maybe to keep that easy read momentum? But as someone who loved this book regardless, it would have made the story even BETTER to include Ras actually fighting the bad guy, the bad guy trying to make Ras waver in his beliefs about himself or Deb, the bad guy almost succeeding in killing him, etc. I would have LOVED for more of a fight scene! What we're given is a very breezed-over description of what took place 'off screen', that everyone's fine, and nobody had to worry. That was the only sour taste I got from this story.
I gave it a 4/5 for this reason; if it had a better conflict scene, I'd give it a full 5.

Deb had gone out on an early morning run… and disaster struck! Abducted by aliens, beaten, raped and sold into slavery, Deb is holding onto her sanity by the thinnest frayed thread. Her first owner, Master Thrull, had raped and beaten her repeatedly, until she stopped resisting. Her second insectoid owner used her as a display piece or curiosity, trotting her out to display to his friends when he was entertaining. But when Deb vomited all over his guests, her current owner sold her to the next available slave trader. It was then that Deb discovered she was pregnant… Deb promises herself she will do whatever it takes to keep her child safe. Rastrath is bored… bored, bored, bored. Coming to the planet Sherae was just a stop gag; a way to get out of his responsibilities at the Imperial Court. His father ruled Sherae as king but had passed on two years ago, but Rastrath had zero interest in taking the crown. Ever mindful of his mixed heritage, Rastrath enjoyed the oceans of the planet when he could. After being interrupted by Marious, his assistant, Rastrath learns of a human slave in the nearby city and curiosity overcomes him. Once Rastrath sets his eyes on Deb, however, her future is a foregone conclusion… she will be his…. Deb’s first sight of Rastrath causes her to quake in terror; he is a doppelganger for the devil! Red skin, large curling horns, and fiery red hair… with the kindest, brightest blue eyes she has ever seen. Faint from hunger and fear, Deb falls at Rastrath’s feet… Rastrath takes one look at her lush curves, her lustrous locks, her ruby lips, and decides she belongs to him. But Fate isn’t finished with Deb or Rastrath, as malevolent forces rise against them. Deb must find the strength to stand strong and protect her child, as Rastrath faces the possible wrath of the Imperial Court and the threat of a planet destroying device. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Fast paced and action packed, with enough heat to melt my kindle! Thanks for an awesome read!
This book was far better than the last. I almost gave up on the entire series after finishing the last book. But I am glad I didn’t. This one fully encompassed consent. Don’t get me wrong, when it comes to a work of fiction, I could care less whether or not consent is established. I think what bothers me more is when the idea of consent is falsified or manipulated inside the writing style. The entire book is having sex with a pregnant woman. That’s not exactly my kink, but I guess it might work for someone else. It’s about a human slave who is pregnant with her first master’s child, and is purchased by a royal member of the family. In attempt to save her baby’s life and not have it taken from her, she offers herself to a purchaser of slaves. She is given the opportunity to work off her debt and earn her freedom. And make no mistake, he takes full advantage of that. If you ever wanted to sexually abuse an emotionally damaged pregnant woman, this is the book for you. Sometimes I feel like the author is writing for a male audience, and not a female one. I heavily doubt that most men are reading alien romances, so the whole plot of the book is laughable. While the author has improved her sexual writing abilities since her last book, she still seems unattached to her Craft. At least she appeared more invested in this one than her last book. She wrote the main human female character to be slutty, but I guess after being forced into the life that she was living, it would make some sense. Eventually, everyone including the author got tired of her crying after every intercourse, so she wrote it out midway through the book. And like a light switch was flipped, the main female human character was all better. Ha. I really couldn’t connect with a book personally, but it was written much better than the last.
This book, like the other in the series can be read standalone..BUT..you would miss out on such a great series and some of plot arcs that lead into and up to this book.
Trigger warning for those that need them. This book doesn’t have a great start for our heroine... but not all books have to have them.... and she works hard to reclaim herself 💕
When we met Rast in the previous book in this series I knew I was going to like him... but holy horned aliens... I loved him! A totally different kind of hero, a prince looked down upon for being a half breed, withheld any love or caring. Whilst Biding his time looking into a secret plot, he discovers a pregnant slave...abused and battered in the most heinous of ways. Deb doesn’t want to believe her new master could be anything other than brutal...
Action packed and full of STEAMINESS!! Seriously the couple are on 🔥🔥 This book is a sci fi lovers goldmine! Swoon worthy prince ✔️ Immense world building and atmosphere✔️ Damsel in distress ✔️ Wonderful side characters aka space pirates✔️ Horns and tail and alien peen✔️ An intriguing worn down well meaning emperor✔️ A race against time to kick some bad guy ass✔️ An overarching theme of respecting and recognising everyone’s differences ✔️ A truly wonderful epilogue✔️
One thing I really love about this author, is her ability to make each book unique and original with its setting and the characters. I am loving this series and cannot wait for the next instalment!
Very disturbing that post multiple brutal raies he still has sex wuth her, being tahen by yet another Alien sexually, and wuth her so onviousky oregant abd in the sane legs open position because sfe just had an innlterelal examination by an Alien doctior made this icky and disgusting, not erotic.
The constant "sweetheart" from him was irritating as heck and I get that she has been brutalised, terrified and raped repeatedly but the constant crying was off putting and unpleasant because it just kept the icky going, making you remember them having sex really wasn't okay because of what she had been put through. So on the whole just really not good. But it was also very boring.
So I didn't like this, book 4 Deb and the Demon or the previous ome, book 3, Cam and the Conquer, or the next book 5, Ella and the Emperor, because I found all three books very boring. While I had wanted to read Athtar's book, book 6, Faith and the Fighter, after liking the roughness of the big, white-haired, blue Alien Viking Athar in these previous books, but while it was better than these three books that I really did not enjoy, there was still too much of Athar's book that was boring and I had to skim. So I won't be reading anything more by this author.
Human Deb was abducted from Earth and sold as a slave to a vicious alien owner. Six months later she is pregnant and just trying to live and focus on her child. Rastrath is a mixed-blood Prince of the Royal House but has had a sad life as he was despised even by his mother. Deb is gorgeous and determined to protect her unborn mixed-race child which attracts him on multiple counts. Then an unexpected danger arises and they enter a marriage of convenience. The question is can Deb trust Rath's feelings for her are more than a desire to protect his investment plus can Rath follow his duty while building a family of his own?
I enjoyed this story which had Rath as a sensitive and caring alien who had experienced first-hand the prejudices of having a mixed-race and yet was also incredibly kind to all who encountered him including slaves. I loved his determination to help Deb and her unborn child as well as his determination to help the people on this particular planet. I enjoyed the friendship he had with the people who really were his family which also has some parallels with real life. Easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.
I think this is the best one out of the first four books of this series that I have read so far! Deb was kidnapped and held as a slave by a terrible alien who abused her and left her pregnant. She had then been sold when he got tired of her. She was sold a third time of the planet of Sharean to a Prince. Princess Rast bought the human slave named Deb because he was attracted to her and he wanted to help her. He has been looked down on all his life because he was a half breed even if his mother was part of the royal family. So Rast went to his father's planet where he was also part of the royal family. His father was king and now they have wanted him to takeover since his father died two years prior. Can they both find the love they have been missing with each other. Can they allow someone else to see the real person that has been hidden? This is a great read so find out for yourself.
SPOILER ALERT - This book was a little different than others I've read. Whereas the others ended in marriage/commitment and maybe pregnancy, this one began in that way. In addition, this book dealt with the trauma of sexual abuse, including nightmares, vomiting once sexual fulfillment was achieved, and the difficulty of the heroine to work her way back to stability. For his part, the hero was solicitous beyond compare. He acquired someone to whom he was attracted, but had to work hard to assure that her response to him was not based on her status or fear of what he might do to her should she not respond appropriately. In sum, it was a great book should one want to read about overcoming sexual abuse in the arms of a tender, loving male. However, all of that crying, cowering and nurturing back to health was not for me. I prefer my heroines a bit less fragile.
Deb has had it very rough she was abducted from earth and sold into slavery. Her first master was cruel and abused her around the clock. Til he finally got tired of her and sold her off. Her second master was a collector but when Deb kept throwing up on his guest he got rid of her, turns out Deb was pregnant by her cruel master. During a stop Prince Rastrath hears about a human slave and he's determined to get to the bottom of it. The first time he sets eyes on Deb he's furious and determined to protect her and the child she carries. But when her original owner comes back to claim her child Deb and the Prince must do whatever they have to to keep her baby out of the hands of his evil father. This story was very interesting I enjoyed it very much I think you will too check it out!
This one is the most heartfelt story out of the first books in this series. I'm not sure why Kievan's and Cam's (I think I spelled that right) story (book 3) felt so dark. Probably because the BDSM degradation scenes is not for me, Kievan wasn't likeable in the least and the third installment of this series is page after page of him teaching Cam how to be a good slave one way or the other. Ugh! Gotta take the bad with the good though and it was worth it to get to book 4. I immensely enjoyed the triumphant theme. It was truly enjoyable to see Deb rise above her circumstances with Rast raising her up all the way. A true hero. Athrar (probably spelled that wrong) was hilarious. Great job, Honey!!!
Amazing story an alien demon who is complected about who he is
Rastrath is a royal Prince of two planets and he discovered Deb on a spaceship as a slave and purchased her. He is attractrd to her, she is pregnant with another alien's baby. Deb is afraid that her baby will be taken away from her. Will she fall in love with this demon looking alien or is he like the cruel master father of het baby?
The characters are feisty, unique, and emotional scarred personalities. This fast paced drama have the twist of can two emotionally scarred personalities heal each other. I like this story because of the emotionally scarred personalities healingly eath other by showing their vulerbilities.
I really, really disliked the previous book in this series but I enjoyed the books that came before it so I decided to go on to this next book in the series and it did not disappoint at all. I was ready for the story and plot but I was surprising happy to get to know many of the side characters. I don know who's story is not but I hope it's one of them. A tiny bit of a spoiler so quit reading from here...I loved how they all picked in at the end...bless their hearts it was like the beauty and the beast cartoon ending when the castle furniture attacked the villagers...or maybe I'm just a bit nuts today. Either way, I heard those noises when they raced off to help. Happy reading 😀
So, mixed bag. Rast starts off well by caring for Deb etc, but then it quickly devolves into "sex cures all" shenanigans. The misleading of her status was just purely despicable. He's also.... to put it mildly, super needy. His emotions somehow dominate the relationship and the story. Deb's emotions come out once in a while but the rest of the time we're watching depositions of Rast's "poor rich boy" life. Yeah I'm not really sure what to say about this one. They did some really weird sex stuff for a heavily pregnant woman, and some of the writing just made no sense whatsoever - for example, Rast could see that Deb was losing weight from not eating enough on the ship.... over the course of 4 freaking days?? At the end of her pregnancy??? Whatever. Yeah, just... meh.
