About the author

Adam Davis is a law enforcement officer, author of five books, and an overcomer. His story is one that reveals pain many hide, and addresses the topics many avoid. Adam shares his experiences of sexual assault, substance abuse, mental illness, and law enforcement. This was a great book for couples to read who would like to strengthen they're marriage. It's especially wonderful because it involves individuals who are in the military and/or service.

I picked this up at Ross. While it was a decent message and read it wasn’t apparent it was mainly meant for Military, Police and Firsr responder families until started to read. Maybe part of packaging was missing since was at outlet store or I just didn’t pay attention to the symbols at bottom of cover.
