Bijaya Malla (Nepali: विजय मल्ल) is one of the prominent figure in Nepali literature. He started his writing career by writing a poem "Marnu Parcha Hai Dai" which was published in 1997 B.S. Bijaya Malla has followed B.P Koirala in his literature and many of his works are filled with Freudian theology, he is more renowned for his campaign for world peace. When many of the countries worldwide were denouncing the authority of the League of Nations and their pledge to support world peace by waging cold war against each other and having dedicating their resources to making numerous nuclear bombs, Bijaya Malla expressed his strong disagreement against those nations through his writings. In his classic short story “Antim Bhoj” he presented a picture of the last feast of the human kind where he put the nations with nuclear weapons on one side and the underdeveloped ones in the other. Such open criticism even during those days of strong foreign policy and diplomatic dramas is highly appreciated by the Nepalese community. His Popular works are Anuradha, Kohi Kina Barbad Hos, Bahula Kaji Ko Sapana etc. He was a member of Royal Nepal Academy. He has won Sajha Puraskar for his story collection "Ek Bato Anek Mod".
