Another great addition to the story. I did notice one inconsistency with the art as well as some of the storylines being mentioned only briefly from the TV show and replaced by a new one. So I would say that you would have to watch the Netflix show to get the full story. I enjoyed reading stories I knew as well as new side stories. I must have missed it on the show but not all of them are Japanese. Amanda is American, Jasminka is Russian, and Constanze is German (that last one I figured out though). It would be nice to have side stories and all the episodes in the manga but it could be boring to read the same things so I understand why things were cut out.

Lo de la deuda y el dragon, divertido, sobre todo como se resuelve

Me gustó muchísimo más que el primero.
En este tomo reí y pude shippear mucho, y encariñarme aún más con estos personajes bellos y su mundo.

Me encanta, y me llama muchísimo la atención, el cómo nuestro mundo "normal" convive sin dramas con el de las brujas y que, además, se cuestione el hecho de que la magia ya es cosa vieja y sin sentido debido al avance de la tecnología.
Es la primera vez que me encuentro con un sistema planteado de esta manera.

Ahora vamos a por el último tomo, no quiero que ésto se termine 💔

I really like that with this volume, we got to see more of the other Luna Nova students. As well as, seeing Akko interacting with other characters and learning/struggling to learn more magic.

Found part two, baby! Similar to the first, it has some parts of the show to give you an idea of what is happening but it is best read after having seen the show (or at least season 1). Fun to see more time with Amanda and her gang and also Andrew. Best part personally is seeing Akko as a rat riding on the back of Diana as a ferret. I find those panels really funny.

As with the first volume, this one balances adaptation of anime stories with some original content. Unfortunately, about half of this thing is borrowed from the anime, including the "debt to the dragon" and the "lusting for Andrew's dick" plots. Curiously, one of the original stories actually focuses on Andrew and the other boys at his school, showing no Luna Nova students except for a young Diana in a flashback, expanding LWA's "slice-of-life" elements to cut a sliver from outside the main setting and cast.

Aside from that, the main thing about this volume can be said of its predecessor: the artwork breathes life into the characters and the world without merely retreading the content of the anime, without looking like it's been half-assed to help make more money for TRIGGER, whatever. There's "soul" here.

A big standout is the pair of pages on 166 and 167, basically a huge "spot the difference" game, reusing the art from 166 with slight alterations on 167, for humorous effect. I think the Aqua/Aria manga does something similar with some frequency. Pretty neat way to play with the manga medium, in a manner certainly far more "artistic" than how the anime often made use of limited animation for gags.

Aunque es el tomo con la portada que más me gusta también es el tomo que menos me gusta ya que la mayoría de las historias largas que están en este tomo ya las vimos en el anime. Aunque las historias únicas de este manga son interesantes, ya que, considero que ayudan al desarrollo de los personajes.
Por otro lado, ver como las estudiantes brujitas vuelan en sus escobas y hacen hechizos me provoca ganas de poder hacer todo eso, aunque ya sé que es imposible. Todas las aventuras de Akko siempre son agradables de leer.

Divertidas aventuras con Akko, es un volumen dedicado especialmente a Akko y muy divertido, podemos ver sus historias con dragones, ratones, la transformación de animales y la más importante la búsqueda del la Fuente Polaris para volverse una gran bruja acompañada de Andrew.

Drugi tom mangi kontynuuje zabawne przygody Akko w akademii magii Luna Nova. Pojawiają się tutaj wątki z anime, ale autor dodał również coś od siebie, co nieco pozmieniał, aby zadowolić czytelników czymś świeżym.
I przyznam, że wyszło mu to całkiem nieźle! Sceny, które już pojawiły się w anime miło było czytać jeszcze raz (zapragnęłam obejrzeć je ponownie, przyznaję), a te nowe i zmienione były przyjemnym dodatkiem i miło się je czytało.
Manga, podobnie jak pierwszy tom jest zabawna, ale również pełna magii - nie tylko tej fantastycznej, ale również przyjaźni i zacieśniających się więzów! Ponadto myślę, że cała ta opowieść jest pełna nadziei i mówi o tym, że marzenia są dla nas niezwykle ważne, ale aby je spełnić, sami musimy wziąć sprawy w swoje ręce, bo tylko od nas zależy czy uda nam się je osiągnąć.
Jak zawsze bardzo podoba mi się tu kreacja postaci, bo każda z nich ma swój odrębny charakter i temperament, każda wnosi coś innego. W tym tomie pojawił się również uczeń Akademii dżentelmenów - Andrew, który zaczyna bardzo interesujący i również zabawny wątek.
Muszę też napisać kilka słów o oprawie graficznej. Okładka jest naprawdę przepiękna, a pierwsze strony mangi narysowane są w kolorze, co dodaje jej wiele uroku. Bardzo przyjemnie się to czyta, mimo że czasem jest chaotycznie, jest to jednak urok tego typu formy literackiej, a i tak można się we wszystkim połapać.
Mangę polecam młodszym i starszym czytelnikom, bo myślę, że jest to świetna seria zarówno do rozpoczęcia swojej przygody z japońskimi komiksami, ale fani mang również znajdą tu coś dla siebie!

Akko really wants to be a great witch, but she is still struggling with basic spells like transmogrification. She does manage to help a bit with the school's financial situation, but they might still need more help. Others think the school is horribly outdated, but can Akko and others prove they still have worth in the world?

This was a little bit of a mess. The flow of the stories and illustrations often felt disjointed. My guess is that going from the anime to manga is harder than vice versa, and that's why things were a little wonky at times. The overall plot is still cute, and Akko is fun to be around.

Der magische Stein wurde entwendet und die Rettungsaktion ist im vollen Gang. Akko fällt durch die Prüfungen und möchte zur Polaris-Quelle. Abenteuer pur und mit dabei ist auch Andrew.

Dieses Cover gefällt mir sogar noch besser als das Cover von Band 1. Ich finde die Blautöne super schön und edel und auch irgendwie magisch. Besonders Diana ist gut getroffen auf dem Cover und Akko als Maus ist einfach nur zuckersüß. Auch hier ist die Rückseite wieder mit einem schönen Bild versehen. Zu sehen sind Sucy und Lotte.

Meinung

Auch dieser Band konnte mich wieder überzeugen. Ich finde die Geschichte rund um den Zauberstab einfach nur toll. Ich fand den Drachen mit den Aktien echt zum todlachen. Einfach so geiler Humor. Mir gefällt auch Andrew wirklich sehr gut. Bei ihm habe ich das Gefühl, dass wir ihm noch öfter begegnen. Mein absoluter Lieblingscharakter ist und bleibt Sucy. Ihre trockene Art und ihr trockener Humor sind einfach göttlich. Ich liebe auch den Zeichenstil. In diesem Band gibt es auch wieder die ersten paar Seiten koloriert.

Volume 2 was much better than the first! The story was much more interesting and congruent throughout the mange. Akko is still as adorable and fierce as ever. The way Yoshinari draws is just so refreshing and lovely to look at. I absolutely love the style and how young and crisp it looks.
The story-line felt more like a plot instead of "filler episodes" like Volume 1 did.
The second volume picks up a cliff-hanger from Volume 1 and gives the reader a better look at some of the other characters at Luna Nova (specifically the all-knowledgeable Diana).
The second half was just as entertaining. Akko is so desperate to get some magic that she takes a journey through the school with a new acquaintance (and some new ears). This arc felt really special and the paneling, art, and composition made it even more enjoyable.
This was a cute read, but I would certainly recommend watching the anime to those who want even more of Akko and her friends!

La verdad que esta historia es muy divertida y entretenida. Tanto el anime como el manga se sienten de manera similar en ese sentido. Pero siendo el segundo volumen de una series de tres volumenes, para mi gusto, se quedó corto. No siento que haya avanzado la historia y creo que confirma que no van a seguir con la historia de las palabras que nos presentan en el anime. La mayor parte del volumen fue repetir lo del anime haciendo ciertos cambios para condensar un poco. La verdad que la condensación salió bastante bien, se mantuvo la esencia, lo cual se agradece. No se que esperar para el último volumen, no sé como va a cerrar esta historia el autor. Me interesa averiguarlo. Haga un buen cierre o no, confio en que la historia siga siendo muy divertida como siempre.

Here there be dragons!

After the events of the first volume dragons are flying away with the source of magic for the academy. Akko and her friends have seen the theft and must decide on a path to take or they will be doomed to lose their magical gifts. This is a fun series with interesting characters that are simple and yet just as human as the reader when they deal with everyday issues. Being a story normally filled with magical elements just makes the student's average day a little different from ours. :)

Also included in this volume is Akko's lack of talent for the transformative magical arts, how a cynic can inspire and be inspired, and Amanda learns a lesson from a small source. :)

Por favor, que cada tomo me gusta más. Sigo alucinando con las ilustraciones porque me parecen preciosas.
Hay una gran variedad de personajes la verdad, lo cual es un punto a favor. Además, en varios capítulos de este tomo sale un nuevo personaje, Andrew, que se ha ganado mi corazón. Me ha encantado el pique que ha tenido con Akko y lo bocazas y torpe que puede ser la niña (me mata). Le estoy cogiendo cariño a lo tonto. Siempre le están diciendo que se tiene que rendir, pero ella es persistente a más no poder.

This review will apply to all three books.
I appreciate this as a fan of the original series but given that it's not a complete adaptation and in a lot of cases does less due to the removal of objective timing and beautiful animation, I can't really recommend this, especially over the original show. I have to stress that I appreciate the effort that was made here, there are some really well done translations to the page, but it's unfortunately not worth investing time and money in for it.

Eigentlich mag ich solche Sachen, wie der kapitalistische Drache, aber der Manga schafft es wunderbar alles ohne Tiefe darzustellen. Es wirkt alles einfach flach. Es scheint zwar etwas Charakterentwicklung zu geben, aber das sehr seicht. Auch ein paar Schmunzler gab es in dem Band, aber sonst nichts als Klischee und Platituden.
Dazu kommen noch markante Fehler. Von Panel zu Panel sind Verwandlungen kurzfristig verschwunden und tauchen wieder auf.
