The last 3 mangas I read were not it. This book was a charming and lighthearted, read and was a delightful palate cleanser. While I don’t plan to continue the series, I still enjoyed the refreshing break it offered.
When Arisa wakes up with no memory of her girlfriend Mari, it could very well mean the end of their relationship. In any other book, I mean. Here, it’s just time to be goofy and horny, typically both at once.
No nutritional value, but very tasty. That’s pretty much what you need to know about this pile of silly yuri fluff that’s just about as low-stakes as you can get.
Arisa is very, very, very bubbly and energetic and takes her missing memories mostly in stride as she gushes over her luck at finding herself with a hottie like Mari. Mari is the straight man (doubly incorrect) in the comedy duo, and tries to help while Arisa just crashes through everything in sight with her cheer (homophobia has no chance in this manga).
It’s surprisingly adult, even for something about two adults, and that’s another nice part of it. This is basically a horny comedy featuring two women and we don’t get very many of those, in this genre especially. They’re way into one another and they do not hesitate to show it.
As they slowly get to know one another again, Mari frets a little, but soon realizes she has nothing to worry about. Arisa’s default setting is ‘infatuated’. We get some backstory, not that it’s needed, and lots and lots of frothy shenanigans.
If you want any actual content, you’re pretty much not going to find it here, but this does make for a great little palette cleanser or a fun pick-me-up on a gloomy day. If fictional amnesia drives you crazy, I wouldn’t bother showing up.
3 stars - perfectly fine at what it is and featuring a cute pair to spend time with, but also shockingly eager to be as light as possible.
This manga takes a comedic approach to the “lover lost their memories of me” trope, and it’s actually quite good. Arisa’s sheer joy at finding herself in a relationship with a woman who to her is perfect, is contagious. There’s a lot of laughs in this, and it’s all very cute. Arisa and Mari have had very defined roles in their relationship previously, so it’s nice seeing how open they are to adjusting for the other by the end.
There was nothing special about this, there seemed to be a weird age gap/timeline between the two, and it felt… weird at times in a way that makes me concerned about how later volumes will be. It wasn’t a total waste though, it did make me laugh at times but it’s definitely not worth continuing
As the title suggests, this is a very cheerful manga in which the main character (Arisa) has amnesia and cannot remember anything from the last three years, which includes meeting her girlfriend (Mari) and the entirety of their relationship. Instead of being suspicious or upset, the Arisa is ecstatic to learn the pretty woman in front of her when she wakes up is her girlfriend. The main reason she hates having amnesia is because she cannot remember how they met or all the "first" experiences they had together, especially after learning that she herself was the main instigator for all of their relationship milestones—something she has no idea how to go about doing now.
This was a cute story, I love how accepting and patient Mari is of Arisa's situation, humoring her attempts at regaining her memories. There are quite a few tender and sweet moments between the two of them.
There were also a few scenes that got old after a while and started to lose my interest because it felt like the same scene repeating—Arisa just freaking out about how hot Mari is and just being over the top optimistic and ditzy about the whole situation—but the manga was an overall pleasant experience with an adorable art style.
Thanks to Edelweiss and Yen Press for access to the digital ARC.
My first manga! It was a goal of mine for 2024 to read a manga and thanks to a student who let me borrow one of theirs I finally did it. I'm not really sure how to rate/review manga since it's a brand new genre and a lot of my feelings about the book relate to it being my first time reading this format. I definitely got used to reading right to left and didn't mind it too much. I had to pay more attention and just the process of reading was a greater cognitive lift but luckily the story itself was pretty simply so it wasn't too bad. The idea of the book is that the main character has amnesia and wakes up to find a woman she finds very attractive saying she's her partner and has been for years. I think the concept was interesting but the storytelling of it was, as I said, pretty simplistic. There wasn't a lot of dimension and a lot of it focused on the sexual aspect of their relationship. Overall I didn't dislike it but I wouldn't read it again.
Arisa losing her memory of the past three years and doesnt remember her relationship with her girlfriend Mari. Mari is uncertain if Arisa will believe that she is dating a woman, but to her surprise Arisa believes her and wants to remember the first times for everything. Including their first kiss and their time sleeping together.
Mari explains that Arisa was the one that made the first move for things. Such as kissing goodbye when Mari leaves for work. With her amnesia, Arisa doesn't remember how to kiss or remember what the address is to get home.
This is slice of life and how Arisa adjusts to her life with Mari.
We do get so see a little back story of how they met. We do not know how what caused the accident, but we do see the effect and worry that Mari goes through the days when she does not hear from Arisa.
I am looking forward to reading volume 2.

A low bar for reading this manga featuring two queer women, Arisa who lost her memory, and her girlfriend Mari, who stuck with her knowing that it will be a difficult to manage with her memory loss. However, Arisa is a "cheerful amnesiac"- and is really just a goofy, horny woman who doesn't mind that she doesn't have a solid memory of their relationship from before.
It's really a bunch of lingerie shots and flirty jokes.
I was going to give this 3 stars but then it showed a flashback to when they met. They met when one was in high school and the other 23 years old. They got together a year later when when one was in still in high school and the other 24 years old. The lgbt community have to deal with smears calling then groomers Yen press shouldn’t be publishing manga that continues this myth.
I really like this series because it is a cute casual manga that also features a lesbian couple. Now, granted, Arisa is a bit too enthusiastic, but she has the right spirit, lol
I really like their dynamic through the story, although I don't like the man wanting Mari even though he has a girlfriend >:/ but he is a good loser i guess.....I GUESS.

Adorable!! I definitely gotta go finish this one. Like most of this genre, there were too many sexual jokes. But if you can get through those, I think the rest of it is lovely. They are so cute together and I love the dynamic.
Arisa is hilarious in how positively she’s been handling her amnesia and I really like how supportive her girlfriend: Mari, has been. I’m curious to see what happens in the next volume of this cute series.
This is just what it says on the tin: a cheery story about a woman who gets amnesia and is utterly tickled to find that she's living with and dating the woman of her dreams.
Seen this going around online; wanted to pick up a physical copy because it was so cute. Love watching them rediscover each other, and navigate healing and relationships.
3 stars. Ridiculous and fluffy. I liked it just fine. Arisa is a lot as a character but she’s harmless. The romance between her and Mari is adorable. I’ll read volume two when it comes out.
