I was nineteen when I became Jayden’s knight in shining armour, her Paladin. At only fourteen, she developed a teenage crush on me, the man who rescued her.

I gave her time to grow, waiting for her feelings to mature. As years, when I was forbidden to touch her, passed, I never doubted she was mine. I just wasn’t allowed to show it.

Circumstances send us to Colorado, away from the restrictions and over-protective brothers. At last we have a chance to be together.

What could be better?

What could be worse?

A new club. A new life. Out of my depth, I don’t fit in.

A different president and his old lady who’ve been married thirty-six years. That their marriage is on shaky ground spills over into how they treat us. For some reason, Hellfire and Moira want to force Jayden and I apart.

Jay and I are just beginning. Or, is it the end?

After all this time, will we make it work? Or have the years I’ve spent waiting been wasted?

Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?

There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.

Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

1st I must say this has been the most anticipated couple. The relationship between Jayden and Paladin has been building through out the Satan's Devil series. Manda has been giving us a little taste here and there. Let me tell you it was worth the wait.
I'm going to be honest when I saw that this was a 4 person point of few ( Jayden, Paladin, Hellfire and Moria) I was a little unsure of it. I have been wanting to dive in to Jay and Pals relationship for so long to have to share it with 2 other characters including a whole new
Colorado chapter had me on the fence.
I was so wrong. You get Jay and Pals amazing story as well as learn all about the new chapter. New brothers that will have great stories to come.
Back to Jayden and Paladin.. first off Jayden has been through a nightmare, Manda makes it so you connect with her in such away you feel what she is going through. Paladin truly is her knight in black leather. Being there for her no matter what the future for them holds. Willing to make any sacrifice to make Jayden happy.
Their love story is beautiful and innocent. Perfectly written. Can't wait to read more about them in future Colorado Chapter books.

It seems like I have waited forever for this book. I absolutely loved it. It is a spin off of the Satan's Devils, so read that first. Jayden met Paladin two years ago, when the Satan's Devils rescued her. She has always been in love with Paladin, and he with her. What happens when they move to a new compound? Why does noone want them together? Will they have their forever? Read and find out. You can not go wrong with this new series. It will leave you at the edge of your seat.

Good MC story.
Spin off from authors other series, some references and characters turn up from that.
Dark themes, heroine suffered sexual abuse, was rescued by the club in the other series, she was 14.
Club girls but no cheating.
Hero is totally devoted to the heroine though they are not officially together due to her age and her history.
She is older when the story starts.
No man-whore status.
Running alongside the main Hero and heroine story is the story of the President of the club and his wife and their history and how it relates to the main couple. Their history includes some flashbacks.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Bit slow burn to anything physical between the two due to heroine's past.
HEA.

Paladin’s Hell is the first novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellett. This is my first novel by this author.

After going through a nightmare, Jayden gets a knight in shining leather by the name Paladin. He looks out for her, protects her and while there are feelings surfacing, there relationship can go no further.

Years past, and their relationship progresses but are there people who will try to tear them apart?

With the being the first book of a spinoff series, I wasn’t familiar with the characters but I didn’t feel confused. I was really engrossed the story and reading about the two relationships that form and the intertwining of the characters history.

I loved Paladin and how he was always there for Jayden. Because of what she went through, I was glad their relation was more slow and took more time to develop.

I will definitely have to go back read the original story but I look forward to reading more of this as well.

I received an ARC for Paladins hells.

I loved this book. Manda has knocked it out of the park. Yet again.

Despite all the hell Jayden has gone through in the past, she rises above it and becomes stronger, than even she believes. Paladin surprised me. He held doubt that he overcame. And became the bad ass alpha biker he is supposed to be.

On a side note. Cant wait to see what becomes of Demon and who brings him to his knees.
As amazing as the Tucson family is. Pueblo has brought a new family out of the woodwork, and they will make you love them too.

I received an ARC for a review

OMG!!! I absolutely loved this start to a great new series! It has its ups and downs as far as Hellfire & Moira are concerned, but so realistic!

I absolutely loved Paladin & Jayden’s story. I’ve waited a long time for this one.

The book was truly excellent & left you guessing. Loved the partial interaction of the Tucson Chapter

I can’t wait for the next one!!!

That was an unexpected turn in this book. Yes it's about Paladin and Jayden but it's more also. It help to understand and also introduced the new club and members. I find the continuation of Paladin and Jayden love story so real, no non sense and crazy turn. I love Paladin, is such a sweet man and Jayden so mature. I can't wait for the book #2
Love you Manda and thank you for letting me be part of your ARC team.

What another amazing read, Manda definitely pulled it out the bag with this one. I've been eager to get this story for a while after watching both Paladin and Jayden grow up it certainly did not disappoint plus an added bonus of being introduced to another couple in this book with a great story that gets you gripped instantly.

I was a bit uncertain about being introduced to a new chapter in Colorado but what can I say it's now given me the dreaded book hangover and I need to know more.
Hurry please I need more 😃😃

Wow. Two stories in one, but both were filled with tension and tragedies. Pal and Jay overcame the tension and trials they face, while Hell and Mo finally got back on track and confided in each other. Definitely some twists along the way.

Paladin’s Hell: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1 by Manda Mellett

5+++++ Stars

I have read many of this authors books, all of them The Satan’s Devils Tucson chapter and I love every one that I have read..I have become emotionally invested in all of these people but I have to say and this isn't easy because each one is perfection...This one is my favorite as of right now. I don't really know why but many aspects of this story had me so hooked and I sincerely did not want this book to end. Miss Mellett has absolutely positively outdone herself with this new Colorado chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC.

I'll be honest I was worried about the change of location, the change of members, and most of all leaving behind those that I had grown to love but the way this was handled was perfectly brilliant in my opinion. Reading the different POV’s and never wondering or getting confused about what was going on made this transition for me very simple. Moira’s story was probably the most real story I've read in a long time...her thoughts, her fears everything was written and described in a way that would have any woman even nearing “that time” appreciating how real this story was and omg Hellfire..one of my favorite characters EVER..again with the real life stuff and just his character is unlike many other stories I've read.

Then..I haven't even mentioned Pal and Jay who were the ones in the story I could relate to because they were the ones forced to make all the changes with location and learning all over again who you could and couldn't trust.

I literally could probably write a 4 page review about this book, I have to stop because there are too many things I want to say. There is a lot going on in this book and it has me wanting the next like right now! I can't wait for Demons story in Colorado and then Thankfully I get to go back to Tucson for Blades story…

LOVE LOVE LOVE this author, this series and knowing what is still to come.

(This can absolutely be read without reading the books before but i DO NOT recommend this...You would be missing out on so so much if you don't read them all!)

Paladin’s Hell is the first book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter series. We’re introduced to the Colorado Chapter through Paladin, a young man transferring from the Arizona Chapter, which is the focus of Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC books. Since his involvement in rescuing her as a teenager, Paladin has been close to Jayden and acted as her protector. When faced with new threats, he agrees to accompany her to a different state where, they hope, she will be safer.
I picked this book more-or-less at random, without any particular interest in motorcycle clubs. Honestly, I really enjoyed it. I was gripped, constantly mulling over the characters and their situations whenever I didn’t have the book in front of me. There’s strong friendship and brotherhood, love and trust, but also betrayal, hatred and misunderstanding. It’s a very human story.
For all of the scantily clad club girls and eager hangarounds, the romance and sex are far from idealistic. The two main female characters are both rape survivors, worried about enjoying what has been used to hurt them. We see an ageing couple, coming to terms with changes in their own and each other’s bodies. We see a young couple, fumbling as they figure out what they like and don’t like. It’s not glamorous, but it is romantic.
As a newcomer to the Colorado Chapter, we are introduced to the characters and set up through Paladin. I haven’t read any of Mellett’s books about the Arizona Chapter, and didn’t have any problems following the story. Now that I’ve enjoyed Paladin’s Hell, though, I’m eager to read some of them!
For me, this is a five star book. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it’s a really good book. At times violent, and discussing rape and sexual abuse, it’s not always a cheery read but it’s empowering and, ultimately, positive. Definitely worth a read!

Paladin’s Hell is the first book in the new Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) crossover Series by Manda Mellett. I didn’t know if I was going to ‘like’ the new ‘chapter’- but these two characters have intrigued me since we met them back in book #3, ‘Slick Running”. It’s bee quite a wait to get their story, and now that I have read it, I can honestly say that it was worth waiting for. I was also surprised to get four POV’s through this story- but that did give a great insight to what was happening and what the characters were thinking. Hellfire and Moira are older, and a little world weary- Jayden and Paladin are young, their relationship is still in the ‘new’ phase- so it was interesting to see these two couple each deal with their own trials and tribulations and watch them through the highs and lows of it all. I think this contrast was quite a clever idea and very well-constructed by Ms. Mellett.
I loved following along on this story- these guys have been through so much (especially Jayden), and my heart ached for them…. as I have come to expect from Ms. Mellett, there was a lot more to this story than it first appears. Her stories are always unpredictable, with twists and surprising developments, and this one was no different- taking me on a ride I won’t soon forget! She had me reading with bated breath, devouring every page to discover what would happen next. There was action, drama, danger, suspense, emotion, heat & sizzle, brotherhood, camaraderie, a great storyline, wonderful characters, and much more….
If you love a really well written, original, and riveting MC story- with complex, interesting and endearing characters- then this is definitely the book for you!
I can’t wait to read Demons story!

Thank you, Ms. Mellett!

Paladin's Hell: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1
By: Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars

The story Paladin's Hell: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1 by Manda Mellett is an amazing book that I loved reading. It is a story with romance and suspense. It at times had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. It also has wonderful characters that I grew to love with each chapter that I read. First, there is Jayden and Paladin. Jayden or “Jay” as she is called is a young woman who is a survivor. While she may be young, she is strong and believes in the man that rescued her, Paladin. I loved reading about how Jayden felt about Paladin. While doubts or questions cross her mind, Paladin always remains a special person in her heart. That Paladin is in love with Jayden is undeniable. He is her protector and will guard her with his life. No other woman can take her place. Situations happen that cause them to move to Colorado. Will this be the beginning of their future together or will they be pulled apart? There are also the characters of Hellfire and Moira. Hellfire is the president of the Colorado chapter of Satan’s Devils and Moira is his old lady. I enjoyed reading about them and the background information that is provided both about them and the club. The story is written in such a way that I could feel the emotions of the characters. Such as how at times Paladin doesn’t feel that he fits in with his new brothers or how Jayden deals with her conflicting emotions. This is a wonderful story and I would highly suggest reading it. This book brings the characters to life and I am looking forward to reading what comes next in the series.

Paladin’s Hell is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) by Manda Mellett. This is a spin off series from the Satan’s Devils MC series which is set in Tucson. There is some overlap of characters from the original series and I think this helps you when reading as there are a few ‘old friends’ to make you feel more at home.
The main characters Paladin and Jayden were originally introduced back in the early Tuczon books when Jayden was rescued from an evil group who had been using the 14 year old as a sex slave. As Paladin was the one who carried her to safety there has always been a very strong bond between the 2 and it was assumed that they would become a couple when Jayden was old enough.
This book takes place a few years later as Jayden is approaching the age of consent. When word is out that the evil group are coming after Jayden, the young sweethearts transfer to the Colorado branch of their MC. I totally adored the relationship between Paladin and Jayden. They were just so perfect for each other although some tried to keep them apart.
As well as Pal and Jayden’s story, this book contains a great deal of the story of Hellfire (the prez) and his old lady Moira. I was totally captivated by their story, from their troubles in the early days and the current tensions between them.
I have read some, but not all, of the original Satan’s Devils books and have really, really enjoyed them but this has to be my favourite. I stayed up to 3am to finish this book as I just couldn’t put it down.

Paladin's Hell: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1 by Manda Mellett

5 out of 5stars

This isn’t my first read by this author and she didn’t disappoint me in Paladin’s Hell the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter written by Ms. Mellett. The characters are great especially since we have already met them. They are well written, and I loved the plot.
Jayden and Paladin relationship has been building through-out the Satan's Devil series. They met two years ago she has been in love with him as he is in love with her. Paladin gave her time grow and had to wait years for her because she was to young. He knew without a doubt she was his girl.
Now they’re on their way to a new compound in Colorado away from overprotective brothers they finally have a chance to be together or so they thought.
Jayden and Paladin are just beginning a new club, a new life. But things are different here he doesn’t fit in and he is out of his depth. So instead of the beginning is it the end?

For some reason, Hellfire the president and Moira his old lady wants to force Jayden and I apart. They have been married for thirty-six years and their marriage is on shaky ground spills over into how they treat them. Is it because they see themselves in the younger couple or can it be their just miserable and don’t want to see anyone around them happy?
Will they make it work or will outside forces break them apart? Will they get their happily ever-after? You must read this great book and find out.
I highly recommend this book….

PALADIN'S HELL is part of the Satan's Devil world written by Manda Mellett. Each story features a new M/C member while revisiting others that have had or will have their stories told. This is a new chapter of the original AZ club set in CO. Different weather, different state, different vibe. So many things to get used to.

The first story is one that began a long time ago (in the book world). Paladin and Jayden met several books ago so this is a long anticipated story. They have to relocate which is how we are introduced to the CO chapter of Satan's Devils. In addition to Pal and Jay, we are introduced to this chapter of the club in it's entirety. Each member and their role are described in detail so there is never any question as to who is who. It will be fun getting to know each of them as the series continues.

What I enjoyed about the story was the "mature couple". True life situations are discussed that normally do not appear in books. Hot flashes may have been mentioned too many times, but they also happen too many times in real life ;) The interplay between all of the characters kept the story moving along.

There are a couple of story lines to follow. The story contains a bit of suspense, budding romance, tragic backstories and long standing relationships.

I think this new series is going to be a good one and I am looking forward to reading Demon's story next.

Paladin’s Hell by Manda Mellet is the first book in her Colorado Chapter series that is the spinoff of her Satan’s Devils MC series (it is after all the mother club!). It is not the first spinoff of the ‘mother series’ but I am sure many of the other fans will agree with me when I say that this one was a long awaited one! You can take and read it as a standalone, as an opening move for the new series but I promise you, you will be awarded immensely if you read the Satan’s Devils MC series first (if you have the time!)
We meet our couple – Paladin and Jayden - in the Satan’s Devils MC … the writer has given us a little taste here and there and it has been a very hard wait. Surprisingly the story is told from four people’s point of view – obviously Paladin and Jayden and then also Hellfire and Moria (the President of the Colorado Chapter and his Old Lady). It was hard to believe that we have to share this story also with Hellfire and Moria and then the whole Colorado Chapter … the dynamics are sooo sooo different from the mother club, the Satan’s Devils MC that I had grown to love through the nine stories … at the same time, I was happy to be introduced to this new band of brothers and I cannot wait to read the stories I can coming our way!
Jayden has survived a nightmare and Paladin is her knight in black leather … they are young and some think that maybe too young to know their minds … the writer takes us on a journey to finding one’s way to their dreams … what a ride!

Talk about Love and how it can get stronger and stronger in any situation and finds her way in our hearts no matter the obstacles that have to be crossed ,this book is the perfect example for it as we get to know a young couple at the beginning of their relationship and an older one that at the end will prove that love overcome everything in life.
I haven't read any book from Manda before and didn't know what to expect but although I have finished the book days ago ,I couldn't find my words to expres how much I love her writing and this story.
I love that we have the points of view of both couples and we know exactly what happens in their minds and what they feel in every situation that comes on their way ,it just made me hate and love each one of them at the same time.
After having to go through hell and saved by the MC ,Jayden becomes a very strong and mature woman that will always love her knight on a motorcycle ,Paladin who is not much older than her but sharing her feelings and wanting to spend his life with her.New life in another state, new beginning that is not what they are expecting but as I said Love with always find a way to overcome everything.
I have to make time to read the other book and I am looking forward to the next in this series as I am intrigued by some great characters.

Paladin’s Hell was a great 5 star read and book one in the Colorado Chapter.
You get pulled in right from the beginning.

Paladin first met Jayden when he carried her from a nightmare and into safety at the club. She is the sister of the president’s old lady. There is something about Jayden that is pulling Paladin in. Because of her age Paladin has been told that Jayden needs to be legal before he can be with her. Keeping things on a friends level has been hard.

Now it seems danger is lurking in the shadows, someone is coming for Jayden. Paladin agrees to take Jayden to another chapter to keep her safe. Things take an interesting and dangerous twist at the new club. Will Pal be able to keep Jay safe? Can they finally be together?

What I loved is that Paladin had a secret that Jayden was pleasantly surprised about. Any doubts I’d had that he was the one for me had been swept away - Jay

I was excited to get to read their story and I wasn’t disappointed. We also get to know several other characters, especially the new club pres and his wife. We get flashbacks from past to present. We also get a HEA but it definitely wasn’t an easy road. Manda does a great job with her writing, she pulls you right in. I can’t wait to read more from this series.

Paladin's Hell: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1
By Manda Mellett
5 stars

Well she's done it again! I've been waiting and waiting for Paladin's story and Manda Mellett did not disappoint.
Since this is a new series for another chapter , you don't have to read the other series to enjoy this one, but I urge you to read them anyways because they are amazing.
Paladin and Jayden haven't been able to ever be alone to see if feelings are there between them. They've been strictly hands off and when they must go to Colorado to keep Jayden and the Tucson chapter safe, they get a fresh start.
What i really loved about this story, and I must say how well this was done, was the multiple POV done between Jayden, Paladin, Hellfire and Moira. It was not only needed but welcome in this new chapter for those that have followed the previous series, to get a feel for the president.
I loved the older couple versus the younger couple, and of course you cant have an MC story without drama!
I can't wait for Demons story as I need to know his inside thoughts on the information we get in this book.

Paladin’s Hell by Manda Mellett, Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter Book 1

5-Stars

Jayden was rescued from a group of violent men who were abusing her in many different ways. Paladin along with his MC Brothers were the rescuers. Now the Harreras are trying to find a way to bring her back. Paladin who has always had a soft spot for her and loves her despite their age difference refuses to let that happen. He will stop at nothing to keep her safe even if that involves relocating to a different state and transferring to another Motor Cycle Club. Hellfire and his wife Moria are preparing to take her in. They are the only MC group that has raised a family. Moria also has a history similar to what Jayden when through. The two ended up being amazing characters as well as Jayden and Paladin. I loved that this story could be read as a stand alone since it is the first book by this author I have read. It does mention characters from the other books which the author lists in the novel. I felt like the storyline was easy to read and I also loved how family focused the MC groups seemed to be. Great read!

This was by far my most anticipated read of the series! We've been getting bits and pieces of Paladin and Jayden throughout the last few books and there was just something about them that really drew me in. I needed more of them!!

In Paladin's Hell, we are introduced to a new chapter, and many new intriguing characters. We kind of got two romances in one with this book as well- bonus! Both were good love stories; Hellfire and Moira, rekindling the flame between them, and Jay and Paladin experiencing first love and other things together.

I thought the pace Jayden and Paladin moved forward with their relationship was appropriate. They cared for and trusted one another. Paladin was very respectful of her, and very aware of her feelings. I really enjoyed experiencing their courtship, and I rooted for the couple every step of the way.

The book is written from all four of these characters' POV (alternating) and at no point did I find that confusing. It was always clear and easy to follow.

All in all this was an entertaining read. A sweet ride with some drama and action; a great introduction/tie-in to a spin off series!

Paladin’s Hell is the first book in the Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter series. Even though this story could be a standalone, I recommend reading books in the previous Satan’s Devils series to get more connected to the characters this book mentions. You’ll have a much better time understanding the club environment shift from Arizona to Colorado.

Even though this book didn’t grab me right away like other Satan’s Devils books I’ve read, it still turned out to be a pretty good read. It starts out a bit slow, but picks up the pace toward the middle and things get good. As with the other books I’ve read in the MC series, Paladin’s Hell deals with some heavy subject matter and may contain triggers for some people.

This book is kind of a bonus in that you get two stories in one. There is the main story of Paladin and Jay, but you also get to know the Colorado club president and his wife and how they ended up together. And for me, in some ways I felt like their story overshadowed Paladin and Jay’s a bit. It is so intense.

Paladin’s Hell by Manda Mellett is book one of the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) Series. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it was really good.

Paladin became Jayden’s savior. From there feelings developed. However, Jayden was way too young for anything to come of those feelings. Paladin has waited patiently and will wait for Jayden as long as he needs. Threats against Jayden force Jayden and Paladin to Colorado where everything changes. Paladin’s new prez is Hellfire. Throughout the book there is tension between Hellfire and his wife and those tensions translate into how they treat Jayden and Paladin. Will their young love survive or will they be tested too much?

I enjoyed this book. I liked that not only was it told from Jayden and Paladins point of view but it also gave us Hellfire and Moira’s point of view. Instead of just watching things happen between both couples you experience it through their POV. This book is very well written. I can’t wait to read more.

Paladin's Hell: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1
By Manda Mellett

I loved reading the story of Jayden and Paladin. It was an emotional read and kept me on the edge of my seat through most of the story. After everything that Jay has been through I couldn't help myself but keep rooting for her to find happiness and remain safe. Pal is such a good guy I hope he gets everything he wants. There are also so many other wonderful characters that you can't help but feel connected to them. The Satan's Devils are are such a close knit group, and I enjoyed reading about the dynamics of their group and the different personalities. This book has some suspense, violence, romance, love, steamy moments, laughter, and tears. This book does have an interesting dynamic between a couple that have been together for over thirty years and a couple just starting out and I loved it. This book has all the emotions I want in a great read!! I can't wait to read more of these books. I highly recommend this book.
