If you haven't read this series yet then I can categorically say it's just as wild and exciting as the authors other works but with a subtle twist. No aliens or space heroes but plenty of alpha males and this time it's the turn of loner Smith to rescue the always curious and cute Kinsey. Now Kinsey is no fool nor is she a shrinking violet but things happen in this book that keep everyone on their toes so settle in and enjoy the adventures that team 52 go on this time !
This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

‘Mission: Her Security’ is the third book into Anna Hackett’s spin-off of the Treasure-Hunter Security stories, featuring primarily a rather hapless Kinsey Beck whose multiple kidnappings and threats of death finally push Smith Creed (determined to keep her at arm’s length) into taking the plunge past friendship. But as with any Hackett story, there’s also a bigger threat looming large that Team 52 rushes to nullify—a threat that continues to be a pain in the arse for everyone involved until the series ends.

Like any other Hackett book, it’s certainly full of adventure and non-stop action, but I did struggle with keeping the incredulity from surfacing. Many shades of the Treasure Hunter Security series come into play here, except that the search and retrieval for artefacts from advanced, ancient civilisations dial up paranormal activity and in this case, pulls the suspension of disbelief factor a little too far.

Smith Creed proved as well to be a coy and rather frustrating hero, who played the want-her-but-won’t-commit-because-I-was-burnt-before game, then offered to be friends in essentially what’s a weak-willed pushing away of Kinsey, only to suddenly turn around later to tell her that there’s no turning back with him after his own repeated rejections of her.

‘Mission: Her Security’ is nonetheless, a breeze to read as always. Buoyed by Hackett’s imagination, the focused writing pattern of getting a pairing together while facing a single threat definitely works for each compact novella that she produces. ‘Team 52’ might not be my favourite series of hers—there’s too much of rinse-and-repeat of her previous series—but it’s one that I hope might get better for me.

Action, suspense, mystery, danger and romance are just some of what to expect when diving into one of Anna's books.

But let's not forget the sexy, alpha men who protect and find their someone else even though they are players beforehand.

A great read for some much needed me time.

Yawn....

Kinsie really likes the cool and aloof Creed Smith, but the former Spec Ops soldier keeps everyone at arms’ length. Smith hides his attraction to Kinsie...she’s too cute and caring for an old soldier like him. However when a terrorist group abducts Kinsie, Smith realizes how much he cares, and will do whatever it takes to bring her home to him.

These ‘scarred soldier hero falls for bright and sweet heroine’ have been done before, and done much better than here. This version is as bland and predictable as white bread. There’s nothing new or compelling in either the characters or the story.

I had to make myself finish this book...so I won’t be reading any others in the series.

Loved it but damn the amount of times Kinsey got kidnapped was a bit outrageous after awhile.

3.5 stars.

Lots of action with a sweet but gutsy heroine and a stoic commitment-phobic hero. A nice read but probably won't be very memorable.

One more great story to this series.
I do love how Mrs Anna Hackett is able to craft opposites attract couples like here with sweet sunshine Kinsey and lonesome surly Smith.
Kinsey is the kind of heroine I do prefer, she is no military nor army woman but she is a fighter in her own way. She never gives up, and fights to her last hope’s drop.
Smith was wounded by a previous love story, since he prefers to stay safe from this heartbreaking feeling, why instead of acting on his attraction to Kinsey, he rejected her.
But Kinsey does not see herself for who she is really but for what she had been told all her life, not worth anything. Why Smith’s turndown hurt her more than everything else. Smith is so firm on his position, it will take the fact to near lose Kinsey to make him understand how important she has come to be for him.
An action-packed story with one more alpha hero falling hard for his sweet lover.

2.5 stars for this story. I absolutely am enjoying this series, hiwever, this book hit all of my irrotation buttons and more.

Smith was the big brooding ex Selta Force loner. Kinsey the sugary sweet blonde. Really, after Rowan and January alongside Blair and Callie we have the oh so typical long legged, beautiful blonde haired, sweeter than apple pie female.

She absolutely made me not like this book. I do not know how many books I've read where someone gets kidnapped and saved and then proceeds to NOT listen to badass that saved them and then get in trouble again.

Smith's calling her sunshine just made me want to throw up. The big bad alpha and the little bitty blonde trope is over done. I did not see any "strength " in Kinsey at all.

I almost threw my Kindle out of the window toward the end after her umpteenth kidnapping and subsequent injury, she's gonna break up with because he hasn't touched her scene. It was all too much for me.

I love this author and I am actually enjoying this series. I can't wait to read about Blair in the next book.

What I liked:
Clear action. Sympathetic characters. Hot love scenes. Excellent pacing.

What I didn't like:
Well, the genre wasn't for me. The military details (except the cool rubber-attracted gadget) weren't my jam.
Kinsey is in distress, needing to be saved (though she does manage to save herself to some degree), for large portions of the book . Smith seems nice enough, but I barely remember anything about him after reading.

I received a review copy.

"Big, quiet" Smith Creed is my favorite kind of hero--a big, badass, tortured tough guy who is brought to his knees when his hard shell is pierced by the right woman. He's not smooth. He's not traditionally handsome. But he's all male, super sexy and uber protective of Team 52's office manager, Kinsey. When she's kidnapped as a means to get the secretive organization to give up a powerful artifact that can levitate heavy objects (like buildings, mountain tops, trucks...), Smith admits to himself that Kinsey means something to him and vows to bring her back. (And keep her safe since the threats against her continue.)

Kinsey grew up in a horrible situation, but she got herself out, chased a dream and made a new life for herself in Las Vegas working for Team 52. She's had a crush on the big guy for some time, but he's made it clear he just wants to be friends. But all that changes when she is kidnapped. Kinse is the light that has been missing in Smith's solitary life. And he'll do whatever is necessary to keep her safe, in his arms, and in his life.

Plus, there's a dog. ;) Always a bonus imo.

Смит Крийд и Кинсли Бек

description

Series: Team 52 #3
Rating: 4 stars - It was really good

Kinsey Beck has been kidnapped by a terrorist group wanting one of the artifacts housed in Area 52’s warehouse. While scared, she is determined to get away and alert Team 52 of the group. Smith Creed is determined to find sweet and beautiful Kinsey. Rescuing Kinsey uncovers a plot to destroy the world and the team is running out of time to stop them.

This book picks up right where the previous book ended, with Kinsey being kidnapped. Kinsey knows she will be rescued but she won’t just wait around to be rescued. She uses every chance she can to try to escape. I loved how determined Kinsey was even though she wasn’t a soldier. Kinsey was a beautiful, determined soul who always tried to find the good in any situation. I wish more people could be like her, the world would probably be a better place.

“You are fucking sunshine in the darkness, Kinsey.”

Smith has been fighting his attraction to Kinsey since she was hired. The kidnapping opens his eyes and makes him admit his feelings about Kinsey. Once he saves her he holds on to her and doesn’t let her go. I loved that once he admitted his feelings he jumped all in. I really liked Smith. He was such a big protective teddy bear.

“If you get hurt…” “I won’t.” “If you do, I’ll tear the world apart to make them pay.”

The chemistry and romance between these two was perfect. I loved seeing them fall madly in love in between fighting bad guys. Hackett does a wonderful job at combining action and romance. I am so glad I am rereading this series because it is so what I need right now in these stressful times.

CW: kidnapping; abuse; abusive parents mentioned; gun violence and injuries

Aaaaand I think I am done with this series.

I would really like to know Blair's story which is next, but then again...

It is not that I do not like these books. They are just getting too plain, repetitive and predictable - girl gets in trouble, guy saves her, then protects her while battling his feeling because of his "past", then some major sci-fi action, some hot scenes, then the girl almost dies, the guy has an "oh, shi*, I love her" moment and turns into a love-dovey "I'll do anything for you" character. Lovely of course, smutt at its finest. Yet boring to read the same thing over and over, and over (because 3 books with the same outline and script, people!). Characters are all similar and kind of flat. Third book in the series and I cannot say I connected to or even liked any of them. Just meh. Sure, they get this HAE, love of their lives and all those unicorns and rainbows, yet the emotional connection is lacking, its development is weak, covered up by history facts, military equipment descriptions and some fantasy/ sci-fi action scenes. Yaaaaawn. Each book has a mini preview of the next book that gets my hopes up and then I get excited to read that next book, only to crash back down to Earth with another "meh". And if all I can say about a book is "meh" then there is no point to continue the series. Life is too short right?

Maybe I will change my mind after the 4th book is out. But reading these books one after another or not leaving at least 6 months period between each story is a very, very bad idea...

Big, bad, STOIC Smith Creed is the next up on the team to find his special someone. I do enjoy when the closed off ones (*slowly*) figure out the thing they need most in the world is right under their nose.

In this case, the thing Smith needs is sunny, sweet Kinsey. She's had a pretty craptastic life and yet she still manages to find the bright side of things. She's genuinely kind and she doesn't let life knock her down for long no matter how hard it tries. Which is a *bit* of a difference from Smith. Just a bit, though. The guy's a little jaded, okay? He's closed himself off from even the idea of having a relationship after a disastrous marriage soured him.

Kinsey's abduction makes him face up to the fact that he likes her sweetness. He wants to make sure she has a chance to keep spreading her kindness and light and that means doing whatever needs to be done to keep his lady safe.

Yep, I like it when the big, stoic ones take the fall.

For her part, Kinsey's known for ages that Smith is the one for her. She doesn't believe it will ever happen, but she likes the guy and her abduction lowers some of the walls she has around her heart and lets her get closer to him than she imagined she could.

Team 52, man. They fight hard and love harder all while saving the world from bad guys intent on mass destruction. Good times!

MISSION: HER SECURITY jumps right into where the previous book left off with our heroine, Kinsey, who has just been kidnapped by a mysterious group of men. She knows that Team 52 will come for her but that doesn't stop her from trying to escape. I loved Kinsey's fire and her determination and even though she's not a soldier like the rest of the team, she never gives up. But getting rescued isn't the end of Kinsey's ordeal because now she has a target on her back and I must say Kinsey holds up well considering all she goes through. But she knows she can count on her team to keep her safe and especially on Smith who hardly leaves her side.

I adored Smith from the very beginning because this rough and tough ex-soldier is a serious teddy bear on the inside. He's always been attracted to Kinsey but he's afraid to take a chance so he's kept his distance. But once Kinsey is in danger Smith can't stay away -- he was the perfect blend of alpha male and gentle giant and I loved every second of it. The chemistry between Kinsey and Smith was off the charts and I zipped through this read with its non-stop action and sexy romance.

Content Warning: past abuse

I’ve always said that this series reminded me of Stargate. I had to laugh out loud when they headed to Denver, the home of the Cheyenne Mountain Base. There may not be a Stargate in the mountain, but as many artifacts as Team 52 has turned up so far, you never know!

This story begins when Team 52’s logistics expert, Kinsey Beck, is kidnapped from their in-town “Bunker” in Las Vegas. Her kidnapping sets off several chain reactions, reactions of all different kinds.

One is the chain reaction her kidnapping sets off in Smith Creed, one of the loners in Team 52. He’s interested in Kinsey, but as has been the case with the other heroes in this series, Smith believes that he’s too damaged to be good for Kinsey. Kinsey has more than few emotional scars of her own, and has assumed that her own interest in Smith is one-sided. Wondering whether or not you’re going to live another day has a way of focusing one’s priorities.

Although Smith tries to keep Kinsey at more than arm’s length, when the first snatch and grab turns into the second and eventually the third, he gives in to the inevitable – and Kinsey is more than willing to give in to him. She just doesn’t think it will last.

There are also some subterranean chain reactions, set off by the ancient artifact that Team 52 is forced to trade for Kinsey’s life. Someone seems to think that setting off earthquakes is the perfect way to get attention – and remake the world.

Of course Team 52, with more than a little help from Treasure Hunter Security, is going to stop the villains from carrying out their nefarious plans – once they manage to stop everyone from kidnapping Kinsey!

Escape Rating B-: My favorite scene was when Team 52 meets up with Treasure Hunter Security in the THS offices, and Darcy Ward (co-owner of THS and heroine of Undetected) tell them, “THS badasses meet the Team 52 badasses.” What a hoot!

However, I also found myself thinking that for all the prep that the badasses of Team 52 do for their missions, they did a really lousy job of taking care of the security for their logistics manager. So much of what happens to Kinsey in this story happens because she wasn’t prepared. Not that she didn’t do fairly well with the hand that she was dealt, but she gets kidnapped so damn often because she wasn’t nearly well trained enough for a situation that seemed inevitable.

Some evildoer was bound to figure out that Kinsey was the weak link in Team 52’s security sooner or later – and they really should have bet on sooner. After all, it’s what they do.

As with all of this author’s work, I found the story to be a lot of fun, but it also felt like the cheesy factor lived up to the title. I’ve always found the titles of this series to be particularly cheesy, and this entry lives up to the cheese.

First, Kinsey gets kidnapped way too often. One of the things I like about this author is that she usually doesn’t resort to the stereotypical “heroine in jeopardy” plot devices. This outing got way too close to falling into that trope trap.

That being said, I still had a good time with Mission: Her Security – even if poor Kinsey wasn’t very secure for a good chunk of the book. But then, that’s why it needed to be a mission!

I’m looking forward to Anna Hackett’s return to science fiction romance in Edge of Eon, coming in December. OMG that’s next month! YAY!

This is the story of Kinsey and Smith finding their way to a relationship. And unfortunately it's just not that compelling. Smith and Kinsey didn't have that "I'm burning with desire for you every second of the day" kind of chemistry that makes a romance novel great. They were just kind of there. And as individual characters they weren't that interesting either. He was a gruff mountain man who liked being alone and she was a ditzy secretary who couldn't make it as a showgirl in Vegas. Neither of those characterizations are interesting enough to make me want to find out more about them.

And, as with every other book in the Team 52 series, the team all behave like complete idiots who suck at their jobs. And the villains all behave like they have absolutely no plan whatsoever. Both of these are recurring issues with this series but how noticeable they are is a direct reflection on how interesting the romance plot is. If AH manages to give me a hero and heroine whom I like and whose romance I'm invested in, then the weak plot and ridiculous villains don't bother me as much. But with this story, I didn't really care about Kinsey, Smith, or their romance and thus the idiot plot felt like it was slapping me across the face the whole time I was reading.

Overall I just wasn't moved at all. Smith and Kinsey were not an inspiring couple and I didn't feel the alleged chemistry between them AT ALL. The bad guys' machinations throughout the whole story made little to no sense, and Team 52 continues their streak of being the worst fictional military operation ever committed to page.

HER SECURITY, #3, TEAM 52 series by Anna Hackett.
TEAM 52 member “Mountain Man” Creed Smith/MMC is a former Navy SEAL, was born and raised in the mountains of the West and is an experienced tracker. He is tall and solidly built with shaggy long hair and a scruffy beard with detailed knowledge and affection for weapons of all kinds. Following the sudden abduction of their own TEAM 52 Base Office Manager and Logistics personnel Kinsey Beck/FMC, Creed Smith and the other members of TEAM 52 pack up their gear and head out to hunt - Who has taken Kinsey Beck, what do they hope to gain, where have they taken her, and does this connect to any previously stored or yet undiscovered Para-antiquities?

HER SECURITY is book #3 in Hackett’s TEAM 52, 8 book series featuring a Covert Black Ops team based near Area 51, NV. The members of TEAM 52 have accepted the duty of collecting and storing artifacts with para/unusual abilities lately being discovered worldwide, originally from unknown ancient civilizations. TEAM 52 is a Action-Adventure Romance series that follows the team as they travel and respond to related global emergencies and situations, safely disposing of the dangerous antiquities. HER SECURITY, #3 is a 2nd Chances, and Friends to More story. Readers that enjoy fast action, page-turning fiction with touches of humor might want to check out this title/series. Although for me HER SECURITY wasn’t as captivating as the 2 previous books in Hackett’s TEAM 52 series, I still look forward to continuing the adventure with each of the different members of the TEAM featuring in the books that follow.

HER SECURITY can be read as a standalone title but since each book in the series features a different TEAM 52 member, the main characters from previous and latter books do overlap. HER SECURITY was a very fast Action-Adventure novel with independent, mostly smart and capable women and honorable, former military, alpha male characters that appreciate them. (Kinsey, as a Civilian, was the least capable of the women characters so far. She has little skills, put herself at risk at times, and I had a difficult time connecting with her). I appreciate the occasional Quirky humor that prevents Hackett’s novels from becoming too drama laden or angst-filled. Hackett has written a number of Action-Adventure-Romance series also in Space Opera & Dystopian genres. TEAM 52 is the 5th Hackett series I’ve read; they are among my favorite. If you enjoy HER SECURITY be sure to check out other works by Hackett.

*READER CAUTION - Readers who prefer only Clean fiction will want to look elsewhere. Not recommended for YAs.
VIOLENCE - Yes. Covert Spec Ops action. PG/PG-13.
PROFANITY - Yes. Strong language is used somewhat frequently.
SEXUAL SITUATIONS - Yes. The 2 main characters have a past friendship relationship that develops into Steamy and rather detailed intimacy.

Escaping from Sugarview and the trailer she grew up in, Kinsey had come to the bright lights of Las Vegas with dreams of becoming a showgirl, but her aspirations are soon crushed. Always a survivor, Kinsey had no intention of returning to Tennessee; there was nothing there for her anymore. Instead she finally has a job she is proud of and loves, running Logistics for Team 52. Kinsey had known the potential hazards when she had taken the job because working for a convert black ops team carried some risk, even if she was simply an Office Manager. Falling for a delivery con, Kinsey is kidnapped; she is trapped and it didn’t matter how much she fought, she couldn’t escape. All Kinsey can think of to soothe and comfort her is the man of her dreams, Smith Creed; he is everything Kinsey has ever wanted, a strong man with a code who fought for his country, but he had made it known he isn’t interested in her: but for her good or his? Smith had grown up in the Colorado mountains, hunting and tracking with his Dad. After a disastrous first marriage, Smith prefers to be alone and lives in a cabin at the foot of the mountains with his Great Dane, Hercules. Smith didn’t like waiting and he is angry; it has been two days since Kinsey was kidnapped. All Smith can think about is Kinsey’s smiling, beautiful face and how he had stupidly pushed her away, believing she deserved someone better, someone who could make her happy. Now Kinsey’s abductors were asking for an ancient Tibetan artefact, a levitation instrument, in exchange for Kinsey’s life. Team 52 have a mission to plan and once Kinsey is rescued, Smith promises to keep her safe and secure, under his protection; but it is not enough. Cosca Unita’s ongoing threats have to be taken seriously. Kinsey is not the only one in their firing line and if they don’t get the real artefact there will be repercussions. It is not until the artefact is tested that Team 52 realize who Cosca Unita’s intended target is, prompting a race against time to stop them at all cost. This is an excellent book with lots of twists and turns to make it an interesting read, and one I would have no hesitation in recommending. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Kinsey and Smith

This KU Library selection and great new whirlwind addition to the Team 52 series can easily standalone. It features Kinsey Beck, the team's 'Girl Friday' and all around ray of sunshine. As the story begins, Kinsey has been kidnapped from "The Bunker", the team's command center, after being duped into unlocking the doors for a delivery. Security tapes don't show enough to give the team a clue as to who took her and the resident techie is scrambling to get any information at all. Meanwhile, Smith Creed is wearing a hole in the floor with his pacing. He's had Kinsey in his dreams for over a year, but hasn't made a move because of a bad experience with his ex. Now one of the bright spots in his world has been taken and they can't go after her until they get a lead. Then Kinsey's cell phone rings and things go from bad to worse.

I loved Kinsey and "Mountain Man" Smith Creed together. He has let his past rule his future and Kinsey lives for for the present and what the future could be. I also loved that she demonstrates over and over that a woman doesn't have to be skilled, snarky and mean spirited to go toe to toe with the bad guys. All it takes is grit. The world could use more Kinseys.

Bjs.

What I Liked: Like the others in the series, this is a fun and fairly exciting romantic suspense novel. Hackett has a real skill in keeping the action moving and her ideas are very interesting and often unexpected.
I thought the central romance was sweet, I enjoyed a bit more of a push and pull between them and the grumpy/sunshine dynamic worked well.
What I Didn’t: I wasn’t so keen on the motivations of the villainous organisation this time, I thought it was all a bit muddy and unclear just what they were hoping to achieve with this artefact.
I also thought the pacing was a little off towards the end again, it just felt a bit dragged out towards the end.
Overall: It’s a fun romantic suspense with a cute romance.
Would I Recommend It?: Yes, if you want a fun, easy-to-read romantic suspense with some paranormal elements and a grumpy/sunshine, friends-to-lovers romance.
Would I Read Something By The Author Again?: Yes.

Really good. Still the same plot as the rest but really good.

I really enjoyed this book. For me it was the more realistic in places.
Team 62 are at Seth’s wedding when they learn that Kinsey hasn’t come to the wedding. When they go to where she is based, they find that the place completely trashed and there is a note saying she’s been taken. Kinsey has always liked Seth and tried to kiss him, he likes her but thinks he’s not for her. When’s she’s abducted he realises that she means a lot to him. And he’ll do anything to get her back.

A couple of negatives: Team 52 is a super classified team that hardly anyone knows about and Kinsey who organises a lot of their travel etc is based at the airport??? With no security?????? Erm no way!! She would work from their base. Not on her own.

The plot is the same as all the other books. In fairness it is better, but still the same. Woman gets kidnapped, man rescues her, woman gets kidnapped again, man rescues her, and woman gets taken again and man rescues her. Slightly unbelievable.

Some spelling mistakes as usual but they’re not terrible. The occasional wrong word.

Still enjoyable, I wouldn’t read it again though.

Kinsey is by the far the unluckiest woman on the planet! And that's saying something cos I'm up there! Kinsey may be the indispensable cog that holds the team together, gets them what they need, when they need it but she can't seem to land the one thing she wants - Smith!

Smith is a rough and tough kind of guy. He was burnt before and has no intention of letting anyone tromp over his heart again. He may have a bionic prosthetic but the guy could do with a bionic heart, for such a big guy he really is extremely sweet, even though you wouldn't think it when he keeps brushing off poor Kinsey, quite heartlessly too sometimes!

But Kinsey's run of crappy men just keeps coming and of course Smith is always a hairs breadth away and in time to protect her. Kinsey may not be an uber soldier or brainiac like the others on the team but she is most definitely their heart! I loved Smith and Kinsey's story. I was a bit miffed not to see more of Kinsey's sister - so I'm hoping we see more of her eventually.

SIZZILING ROMANCE MIXED WITH DANGER & ACTION

MISSION: HER SECURITY Is An electrifying story. I was drawn in and eager to learn what happened next. There was enough action, danger, dynamic vivid scene descriptions, humor, sizzling passionate romance and a most intriguing conclusion to keep me entertained.

Smith has kept his true feelings about Kinsey at bay due to his past. He's a quiet man comfortable living in an isolated cabin with his dog. Kinsey has burning fantasies about the powerful handsome Smith. When a group of black-hearted men abduct her Smith becomes enraged. He makes a promise to himself that he will bring her home safe.

FABULOUS READ well-written fast-paced read that I enjoyed. There was nothing in his story that disappointed me. I love the camaraderie between the characters in this series. Kinsey is a force and Smith is powerful; they compliment each other. Their happy ending is well deserved. {It was my choice to review a pre-release copy of this story.} Without hesitation, I recommend this read.

Mission: Her Security is another rip roaring, action packed, fadt paced, danger filled, spicy romance from Anna Hackett. As usual I am glued to my tablet reading as fast as I can to find out what is going to happen next.

Ask any Team 52 member about Smith Creed and Kinsey Beck's attraction to one another and they'll give you an earful. He never takes his eyes off her when they are in the same room. She's a little more surreptitious but not much. Smith considers himself a loner and has a history that reinforces that opinion. Kinsey grew up in less than optimal circumstances yet she's a ray of sunshine anytime she's in a room. Unfortunately because of her connection to the team she's targeted by a group who has a nefarious agenda. Smith has to finally pull his head out when it comes to Kinsey because he knows he can't lose her. Global dominance is the plan of this well organized, dangerous organization and Team 52 has their hands full trying to contain, take down and dismantle the organization. Smith finally declares his feelings for Kinsey while she's been on board all along.

Hackett impresses me with this series. She takes tough and broken people and brings them together in a dangerous situation. They are faced with losing someone they want to be with but have held back because they think they aren't right for the other person. Again, this is a combo of military, paranormal, romance and other aspects. I LOVE how she makes the women strong and determined even if they aren't able to overcome the people they are fighting against. They try and they are smart about it. Smith and Kinsey both have feelings for each other. Smith had a bad first marriage so he's sworn off relationships. And the Kinsey is kidnapped.... multiple times. Kinsey grew up in an abusive household and she's made the choice to be a happy person but underneath it all, she lacks confidence in her own value. Smith is determined to find her. She just a part of the team and so delicate but he discovers her strength in all the shit she's put through and his love for her. It's a solid story. I read it in one sitting - unusual for me.
