Jingle and Joy: Praying Beneath the Tree by Jodie Barrett is a sweet, easy-to-read devotional that was perfect for Advent. The daily readings are short, but the messages are very meaningful. My mind can sometimes wander when I pray and this book helped me slow down and focus during my quiet time with the Lord each morning, making my prayer time feel more intentional. Even though it’s an Advent devotional, I hope to carry its message with me throughout the year and I highly recommend it.

This book helped me keep my focus on Jesus this holiday season. With a daily prayer focus each day, I was lifting others before the Lord which helps to get my eyes off ourselves. Each days prayer focus has a Bible verse, ways to pray for that focus and an evening prayer. Loved it
