This is an excellent volume in the Deadly Women series. The story involving Angelina Neapolitan was particularly gripping. It seems that poison is a prerequisite for these dangerous ladies in taking care of their problems. And the problems are usually financial. There are also two stories of nurses who decide to play God with their patients. One thing in particular stood out throughout about a dozen cases—the women had either been fairly recently married or they were involved in a budding relationship. Long term dating would have revealed the pathology of these people and perhaps saved some of the men in their lives. You really don’t know a person and what they are capable of until you’ve known them for quite some time. But also, maybe never.

This one's a five star

Prolific true crime author Robert Keller writes mostly anthologies and all of them to me are worth four or five stars. I gave this one five because I'd only ever heard of one of the eighteen cases featuring murderous women. Each case is so unique covering different eras, countries, and crime commission. Some stories are almost too bizarre to fathom, some are extremely sad, and some are just pointless. A great read with thumbnail pics of the killers on the first page of each of the chapters.

She-devils in the 'hood

The deadly women covered in this volume were someone's neighbor, someone's co-worker, someone's friend. Those friends and neighbors and co-workers did not suspect that they were rubbing elbows with she-devil monsters.

It's almost as if they're thinking, "It's a slow Wednesday. What shall I do for some excitement?". It's like they don't even need a motive. And someone dies. It seems antifreeze is becoming a popular murder weapon. Will it be banned?

These stories are truly shocking. Nurses killing patients for fun. Mothers killing husbands and babies for insurance money. It was quite ironic that one husband had let the policy lapse!

Interesting and we'll written

Interesting stories that are easy to read. I would like to see more pictures of the victims. It is interesting to read about cases that have taken place in other countries.

Scary how women can plot murders the way all 18 did.

Robert Keller did a great job capturing the unfeeling women who plotted and killed. Thank you for writing these books
