Trees form from seeds which are in the ground. A tree has three parts, the crown, which is composed of branches, twigs and leaves; the trunk, which attach the crown to the roots; and the roots, which holds the tree in the ground. Some trees lose all their leaves in the fall, and other trees stay green all year. Trees help us by making homes, paper, rubber and food. Trees are very valuable to us and to animals as well. This book is fascinating as well as informational.
