Because, hey, it's better than probes in uncomfortable places. Now let's just hope they don't find out I'm lying. When you crave a binge read… Sci-fi romance bestseller. --COMPLETED SERIES-- Amazon Reader ***** “OMG I think I just found a new favorite series. This one is definitely up there!” ***** “I loved this book! The world building was excellent and the whole premise is very interesting. I’m so intrigued with the story and definitely hooked!” ***** “A fascinating post-apocalyptic story with an intelligent heroine. Ms. Mars' writing style is fluid, and the pace of her book is fast enough for an easy read, but has just enough depth to the characters so you don't feel it's rushed. ***** “Nia Mars has done an outstanding job of creating a future world and its characters. She builds a story with flavor and amusement.” ***** “This series is definitely a one-click for me.” ***** “Now I'm hooked! I am so enthralled with Ava and her kreks, I really like the slow burn. This flows like a well-planned Utopia of reading and I can't wait to finish the series so I can start it again! Really glad I found it on a Friday!”

RH. Space. Kidnapped. Hidden identity. Five men. Dominant. Hidden power. Death. Corruption. Pirates. Virgin FL. Small amount OW drama. Cliffhanger endings. Gods.

Recommend the box set as the books finish of cliffhanger or just really weird places.

Slow to build, and even then, the story feels like it's been capped. Its full potential wasn't reached.

I love boxed sets - it makes running through the entire series easy, yet for some reason, I just couldn't do it with this one. I finished the first book, and then... stopped. It's not that I didn't like the story, or the characters - but they just didn't do anything for me. A part of me kept rewriting it in my head, rearranging situations or responses to better suit the ambiance - and it was driving me crazy! Since this is on KU, I may eventually come back to this and try again, but for now... meh.

Good if short series

I enjoyed this series, I'm glad I bought the box set though rather than the individual books. Each book is quite short, and even having finished all 5 books, I still feel like there's something missing to the story. Probably because I've gotten used to epilogues and this doesn't have one.

Ava is a great character, I normally really dislike the FMC virgin troupe when the harem are far from virgins. But in this case with the backstory it made sense. Ava grows up on a dystopian Earth. They live in tunnels underground because of sand storms and this means limited space, and limited access to birth control. Life is difficult and Ava and her sister struggle to eat a lot of the time, so adding a baby would not be ideal.

It's a medium burn series, and I found the passing good. Even with the insta-lust and fated mates style, Ava still has self control. She's still independent and she doesn't just give the guys what they want.

This is the first series I've read from this author but I'll definitely look at reading more in the future.

The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is because it does need editing. There are spelling and grammar issues, which did detract slightly as I had to re-read sections to fully follow what was happening.

Oath

Reverse harem is a fairly new genre for me, and it has been extremely hard to find books in this genre that have good storylines. Most use sex as a filler, and I'm not opposed to sex, but I'm always looking for a good story. The Oath Forger is one of the series in the genre of the reverse harem that has a good story, and I love that the author doesn't allow the characters to rush to have sex. My only complaint is the last book in the series; it was rushed.

I felt the author gave Koah, Uthan, and Tiam a good amount of time with Ava, but Dason was like an afterthought. To me it seemed as if she didn't know what to do with him, and I also felt there was more she could have explored with each of the Kreks because their backstories were interesting.

This series could have gone beyond five books. I would love to see more of these characters. I would love to see what happens with them when Ava becomes pregnant with each of their children, and I would love to see how fatherhood affects some of them since some didn't have a good childhood.

This series had been recommended to me by a couple of people and I am so glad I listened. I could not stop reading this boxset to get more of Ava and her kreks (rulers of their world). Seeing Ava grow from a survival-focused scavenger to the Oath Forger and all that it entails was amazing. Each of the kreks stands out on his own and they had to grow too, moving from trying to kill/conquer each other to working together for peace *and* love. Each individual relationship was built at its own pace and while Ava sometimes felt pressure to move forward, she stayed true to her own feelings for each guy.

This is a slow burn steam-wise, however there is definitely simmering happening and then once it boils over, woah. There's also more than just a romantic plot. Ava and the kreks navigate threats against the Oath Forger, space pirates, and a deeper conspiracy. Also, in case it matters to some readers, this is a sci-fi book where many characters do look human or close to it, including the love interests. I will be re-reading this series again, I enjoyed it that much.

This is one of my favorite RH series ever. Every single book made me laugh, cry and smile all at the same time. Also, every character in this series from Ava who is the Oath Forger to her sexy Kreks, Kaoh, Roax, Tiam, Uthan and Dason will leave you so very hot, hot and hot.

Ava is from Earth Colony Dallas and gets abducted by aliens and then rescued by Koah who states that she is the Oath Forger and that she must go with him and meet the other Krek Warriors. So, she plays along and while she does so she eventually meets the rest of her Kreks. They are also drawn to her in ways she is trying to understand. Each book will take you more into their relationships with each Krek and each day she feels more and more like the Oath Forger. There are also dangers heading her way and only her Kreks can help her. In the end, you will be agreeing with me! A Fantastic RH Series!

I love this author!

Best reverse harem ever!

I cannot rave about this series enough. I love reverse harems and I thought I had read all of them until I found this gem. This is my favorite reverse harem series ever. Read the whole series in 1 day and let me tell you that my husband is a very happy man today. Hot hot hot. I loved the main character, she was so realistic and the men were just to die for. The plot was actually wonderful which is a rare thing for me to find in a reverse harem. I also like a lot of heat and this definitely was on the money. I will have to read everything else that you have written so I am going to get on that now!

Wonderful series that includes a dystopian Earth, feisty heroine and five intriguing alien men. The heroine's journey in discovering a new world and her place in it is definitely worth the read. The story is told from her perspective, encompassing her doubts, which makes her relatable and a fully defined character. If you are a fan of Sci Fi romance and reverse harem stories- this is a must read!

I’m not writing five separate reviews when all these books were ridiculously short. I love space romance books, stumbling across a “mate” and being swept off her feet. Learning about a whole new world and how to survive in this new society. It had okay world-building, and the characters were developed enough that you could see the different personalities. But it wasn’t a life-altering romance, just a nice, entertaining read to pass the time.

Warning. This entire review is one giant spoiler to the entire series

I read all the novellas in one go, so in my head they are one book. Not sure why the story needed to be spaced over 5 books because it certainly isn’t complex. It’s a fast and easy read. The characters are pretty basic and not fleshed out. Every single character annoyed me at one point. The heroine repeatedly makes really bad decisions.

The series is called Oath Forger, and the term is used nearly every other page, but no one just lays it out and explains what it means. Even when the heroine finally thinks to look it up in the library (at the end of book 2!!! Seriously, this should be first day kind of info) it still isn’t explained to the reader. The vague “bringing end to galaxy wide war by having 5 different kings children” thing just doesn’t make sense. Nor does the fact she has office duties, but what is she actually doing? Besides sitting in her office responding to party invites. It is said that she is an important, powerful figure in the galaxy, but she doesn’t do anything. Her main pastime is to doubt her ability to keep 5 men happy. It seriously takes up at least 70% of her thoughts. It honestly gets super annoying.

The reasons why she can’t see her sister are absolute crap, and I don’t know why she goes along with it.

Despite the many annoyances, I still kept reading and wanted to know what happened next.
