⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The Outliers, book 2 of 2. The conclusion to Finn & Say finding truth, love & healing in the Outskirts!

Books in duet should be read in order:
Book 1: The Outskirts
Book 2: The Outliers

In The Outskirts, book 1 Sawyer Dixon, Say ran away, from a religious cult, to the Florida swamps, the Outskirts, and into the arms of hermit Finn Hollis. Off to a bad start, the story followed two lost and broken souls finding friendship, solace and more in each other…

The Outliers, book 2 opens up to book 1’s shocking ending with the mysteries surrounding their pasts unfolding; secrets are revealed and betrayals uncovered. All while Finn and Say fall deeper into each other and face tough choices and surprises about their future.

Seven words to describe Finn Hollis: Broken, flawed, moody, recluse, chivalrous, unassuming and possessive.

Seven words to describe Sawyer Dixon, Say: Naïve, sheltered, reflective, trusting, strong, innocent and determined.

The Outliers, told from dual POV, is a mixture of mystery and a sweet love story with plenty of steam. While parts of plot felt predictable, story moved at a fast pace and, with two bonus epilogues, did not skimp on ending.

“You are everything.”

After finishing The Outskirts, I was dying for this book! The first book didn’t end in a crazy cliffhanger, but it left me with so many questions and I needed answers! I’m happy to say that TM Frazier answered all of my questions and left me with a huge smile on my face!

Sawyer has finally found a place she belongs. She has friends, she has Finn, and she has a home. Then her life gets turned upside down. Things with her father come to light, she finds out more about her mother, her past, and where she came from. Through it all, one thing remains constant. She has Finn.

Finn and Sawyer have amazing chemistry. I love their connection. I loved seeing more about it (especially things related to their names. sigh). I also loved Miller and Josh, and of course, Critter! He was a fabulous character.

If you’re looking for a duet with some mystery and suspense, a lot of heat, romance, friendship, and family ties, pick up The Outskirts Duet! I love everything Frazier writes, and this is no exception!

After the huge cliffy we were left with at the end of The Outskirts, I couldn’t wait to see what would transpire next. I was one of the many who was eager to get my hands on part two of The Outskirts duet. And what was I most excited about? Getting the chance to see my sweet honey Finn again. He definitely didn’t disappoint!!

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

This story was intricate and multi-layered. It delved into the reunion of family, the complexities of friendship, the bond between those that love and are loved, and the further development of the everlasting love that existed between Finn and Sawyer. She was still trying to find her way in her new life with her first taste of freedom and Finn was only too happy to go along for the ride. I adored him for the lengths he was willing to go to ensure her happiness. Finn was still the winner of my heart in this story. I respected the heck out of both Sawyer and Caroline, not only for surviving but for their strength in forging a new path and for embracing and accepting a past they could not change. I loved getting to see more of Josh and Miller because they were always good for a laugh. But most of all, I just loved the love that oozed from the pages of this book.

I really wanted to give this book five stars. I really did. So why didn’t I? Well… it’s going to sound real petty in the grand scheme of things, but… Jackie’s name was mentioned 19 times (yes, I freaking counted!). And for me, that was 19 times too many. Especially when by the end she might as well have been nominated for sainthood. Am I missing something? Because in book one there wasn’t much to like about her other than me feeling sympathy for Finn’s pain over her loss. What happened? I’m also not a huge fan over the way this duet ended. It felt off. Again, this may be a “me” problem, but it felt rushed and lacked the passion I’ve come to expect from this author. Especially because this story evoked so much passion and compassion from me. I wanted something that felt complete and left me satisfied with saying goodbye to these characters once and for all and I didn’t really get that.

Would I recommend this book? Heck yeah I would. READ THIS DUET!! I’ll read anything by T.M. Frazier, as evidenced by all of her books on my bookshelves ;) So I say go ahead and read because I can guarantee you’ll fall in love with Finn and Sawyer as easily as I did!

This was the conclusion to The Outskirts duet and even though it didn’t wow me, I still somewhat enjoyed it. I did find it hard to connect fully with the characters and I can’t exactly figure out why.
I figure I’ll sit on it a bit and hopefully come up with answers!

I do enjoy TM Frazier’s work, but her other series were way better than this one! The intensity that comes from the King series just isn’t in this one.

4 my forever stars

“The Adventures of Sawyer and Finn” continue in the Outskirts. Sawyer trying to come terms with the truths unveiled and Finn is finding his place back in society. Love is never simple, whether it be your true love, your parent’s love or your friend’s love… each has a measure of truth and a measure of trust. But one thing is for sure, each has to be nurtured and not taken for granted. Most people don’t get a second chance, but with the support of new found family and friends, everything just falls into place.
Love.
It isn’t logical.
It doesn’t grow or shrink on demand.
It’s unexpected.
Unyielding.
Love can be your greatest lover or your greatest enemy.
It makes no apologies when it feeds off the lie of forgiveness.
Love will fight the world even if it has no chance of winning.
It’s the excuse and the reason.
The sacrifice and the reward.
The pain and the disappointment.
Love.
The ultimate betrayal.

Finn knew from the moment he played eyes on Sawyer, that she would be his forever, just as he would be hers. He just needs to show her just what that really means. Between keeping her safe, and showing her how limitless his love is, her strength is stronger with him to help carry the weight.
"You want religion?" Finn pushed back a lock of my hair. "Then I'll get on my knees and worship you for the rest of my life. You want to save someone? You've already done it. You saved me. You want heaven?" His hand skated up the back of my skirt. I shivered. His deep voice hummed in my ear. "I'll take you there right now."

The Outliers was the perfect ending to the Duet, and I have to say I loved it more than the first. Maybe because it was my happily ever after, maybe because it held the answers to all the questions, or maybe because it righted all the wrongs … who knows? I just know that I just loved how much Finn loved Sawyer, and how their stories were entwined from the start, almost like it was destined. Loved the story and their take on love, fate and forever.

The Outliers is the second book in The Outskirts Duet. After book one ended with quite a shocking surprise, I was more than excited to jump right in. It is imperative that you read book one before diving into book two!

“You want religion? Then I’ll get on my knees and worship you for the rest of my life."
Sawyer has finally found a safe place to call home. With new friends and a blossoming relationship with Finn, everything seems to be falling into place. Sawyer is still so naive and yet, she is determined to learn everything there is to know about the world. As the ghosts of her past continue to chase her down, Say discovers pieces of her past that shift her entire world. As passion and intimacy continue to bloom, Finn and Say cannot keep their hands off of each other. Finn is more determined than ever to keep Sawyer safe and hold on to her forever.

Told in dual POV, The Outliers offers a sweet and romantic conclusion for Finn and Sawyer. The dynamics between these two remain intense and charged with love and affection, I truly adored the journey they shared together. Certain elements of the plot were quite predictable and over the top and yet, T.M. stayed true to the characters and the relationships in which they shared. The ultimate draw to this read is the unwavering love Finn and Say share. I felt their connection, albeit fast, was sincere and quite beautiful. T.M. has always captivated me with her flawless writing style and flair for damaged characters.

Overall, The Outskirts Duet is a perfect read for someone looking for a tender romance and a story of healing. Ms. Frazier always delivers!

“I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always.”

After finishing The Outskirts I waited with great anticipation for the second book The Outliers to be released, because I just had to know how this amazing story would conclude and what would become of Finn and Sawyer. One thing that drives me crazy is a cliffy and I guess that is partly because I can be somewhat of an impatient person and need to know the endings, but that’s what you get with duets. The Outliers was well worth the wait and certainly did not disappoint.

The Outliers consisted of so many different layers, twists and turns and suspense that I just loved. It kept me captivated throughout, but the thing I loved most about this read was the timeless, passionate and unapologetic love that continued to grow between Finn and Sawyer.

“My entire being reacted to him from my nose to my toes. From my heart to my soul.”

I’m not going to write a detailed and in depth review because it’s really difficult to do without giving away spoilers from book 1 or book 2. It is a duet and therefore a direct follow on, but I urge everyone to check this out (and the previous if you haven’t read it yet).

If you are looking for a duet to read that will keep you fully engaged from start to finish with all the mystery, twists and turns, and a love so hot and passionate it will almost set your kindle on fire then this is the duet for you. I loved Finn and Sawyer and their unbreakable connection, but I also loved a number of the side characters, especially Josh, Miller and my absolute favorite Critter… Sigh! T.M. Frazier’s writing is second to none, her imagination and the different directions she takes her readers on throughout is always amazing. It was a fabulous duet which I highly recommend.

I had only read ALL THE RAGE by Ms Frazier before I started this duet and therefore, that book was my only reference. Its writing was good and despite my dislike for dark romance, I enjoyed All the Rage for its unique plot & characters.

As for this duet, I have so many mixed feelings. There are a few good things about it and then, there are more than a few negative things about it.

The Plot:

This duet attracted my attention as it was about the story of an abused mother & daughter and how they find their way out of the hell they were living in.

The heroine, Sawyer, is a naïve but sweet girl who manages to run away from the abusive father finally and she tries to start a new life in a town called Outskirts. There she meets our hero, Finn. He is her neighbor. Finn had become a recluse for two years after her fiancé’s death and was drowning himself in alcohol. Both save each other in different ways.

***********************************************

The book had a lot of potential with a plot like this and therefore, I expected one hell of a duet; instead what I found was some amateurish draft copy of a novel-to-be: Namely, lots of editing mistakes, lots of plot holes and failure in making the reader feel the emotions. I never expected such bad writing from this writer and I was shocked.

And also, there was lots of weirdness in it - about religions, faith & the supernatural. (No, this is not a paranormal book but the ones who are dead come to your dream and save your life, etc. 😊 Funny things like that happen...).

And thanks to this book, I learnt that there was a religion called Pastafarianism and a church called “Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster”.

I don’t want to discuss my religious beliefs here because I know it is a sensitive subject and it is very personal. Therefore, I may just inform you that the book discusses religions and questions them once in a while. Well, I didn’t mind but some readers may, so I am just saying…

Writing & safety:

- It is written in dual point of view but the heroine’s parts outweigh that of the hero’s.

- Unfortunately, its writing doesn't make you feel AT ALL! There are passionate sentences of declaring love but they are somehow not convincing because of many reasons I will explain later.

- There is no cheating between the hero & the heroine. It is safe in that regard.

- There is no push away or no separation after they become a couple.

***********************************************

I feel as if I need to discuss pros & cons of this book to make a clearer picture for other readers.

PROS & CONS of the book:

Things I liked:

1. The book deals with abuse and victims of abuse. Any book that attracts the attention of readers to domestic abuse deserves my appreciation for the effort.

2. I liked the heroine but she was too naïve for my taste.

3. I liked the tings: The pieces of papers hanging from the ceiling of the bar.

People wrote their memorable moments on papers and hung them in the bar. Years and years of history and memories of people are hanging there in the air like wind bells. The use of those papers they call "tings" while declaring love or solving the mystery was something I liked in this book.

4. I liked that the evil was punished in the end. Yayyyy, I like revenge! 😊

I just would have preferred some details of the torture the evil man got through in the end, not just the knowledge but front seat views - all the gory details. I needed it after all he has done...

The things I disliked or criticized:

1. I never understood how they fell in love with each other. It felt as if some pages of the book were missing. I have nothing against insta-love like some readers but the way these two people became a couple carries “insta-love/lust” to a whole epic level!!!!!!

And the transition wasn’t written well.. Oh, sorry, it wasn’t written at all!!! No transition whatsoever! One day, they are strangers, he is yelling at her... Another day, they are fiercely in love, he has got over the dead fiancé trauma and he claims he can't live without the heroine!

Huh?! I insist.. there are missing pages!!!

I mean WTF? The hero was living with the ghost of his fiancé and drowning himself in alcohol for two years, refusing any connection with his friends etc. And now, in a few days after meeting the heroine, he says she saved him and now he is over the dead fiancé and he announces that he loves the heroine even more than he loved her fiancé.

Whoops! What a recovery! Faster than the speed of light!

2. While the hero was mourning the loss of his fiancé, he never visited his family. I can understand that. However, I just never understood why his family that he has close ties with never visited him.

Well, the writer explains it by saying that the weather of the town he lives in is not good for his father’s health but WTF?! IS that a reason good enough to leave your son alone for him to slowly kill himself with sorrow and alcohol?

3. The heroine is a virgin and the first time they do it is on the floor of the library that has been closed for ages! (I was thinking of all the dust and the dirt while they were at it 😊).

And it is hard and rough and the burnt of the tear of the hymen quickly turns into great pleasure in this “alternate universe of the no pain in the first nights”!!! Yeap, I wanna live in this alternate universe, wherever it is!

Oh oh, it’s not only that - they also do it unprotected and she is not on pills at all. As a matter of fact, she was grown up in such a conservative community that she thinks one could get pregnant only when they are married. So she didn’t think she could get pregnant. And as for the hero, he knew she didn’t experience the outer world at all during her twenty years in that weird community where women were degraded all the time. Many things were forbidden to women. She is only now discovering the world. He knew how innocent and inexperienced she was but still he wanted to own her, claim her and impregnate her to make sure she was his forever.

Uhm, no… however much he loves her, he is not my hero. He never gave her a chance for a choice of pregnancy. I don’t mind she becomes happy when she is pregnant, not everyone would.

4. When some facts and some mystery from their pasts are revealed, not all of them made sense. I was saying, “Oh, no, how come?” "Really?”

I think most of them were there for the shock effect but I just didn’t believe them. Mostly because they weren’t written well, I never found them convincing. There were always plot holes that made me question the plausibility of these events.

5. Lastly, the editing mistakes in Book 2 takes so much away from the pleasure of reading! Book 1's editing is OK but the editing mistakes in Book 2 are unforgivable! And they are not here and there, they are everywhere, all over Book 2. It is like no one ever read Book 2 twice, neither the writer herself nor the editor.

Some examples of editing mistakes:

p. 88:
The second we landed we jumps into Finn’s truck and raced over to Critter’s house.

p. 144:
Please listen carefully and will be out of your way as soon as possible.

p. 161:
He was upset because he was trouble with his mother for swearing.

p. 174:
She rolled over took one look at me as smiled like I meant everything in the world to her.
"I can’t help but think of what could happened to you if …”

p. 175:
“He won’t Hurt you again .”
"What happen to him ?”

p. 177:
Did you are the bravest person I’ve ever met in my entire life?

p. 191:
I looked down to Richard whose eyes were bugging out of his skill.

Well, I am a teacher of English and even my students don't make so many mistakes in their essays! And even if they do, they are just essays. And if we make mistakes here, these are just reviews but a published book should be more refined. A book with so many mistakes is unacceptable in my opinion. And this is where I say goodbye to Ms Frazier's future works.

“I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always.”

I just...I can't even.

I was so so close to adding this to my DNF list. I honestly struggled, it took me days to finish and this was a relatively small book too! I could't stay focused. I'd read like 5 or 6 chapters then put the book down.

The storyline was painfully predictable! I was bored to death reading The Outskirts and of course The Outliers. The characters drove me crazy and when a decent part would happen, it was over as fast as you could snap your fingers.

This duet was just NOT for me. You win some, you lose some. That's life!

HOLY FREAKING CRAP. I needed this book in my life, seriously I needed it so badly. After finishing The Outskirts when it was first released my hands have been itching to get the second part of Finn and Sawyer’s story and by god TM Frazier delivered. The Outliers was everything I was hoping for and MORE, so much more. I’m in absolute awe of this ladies incredible writing.

~

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

~

After the first book ending in a cliff hanger were brought to that moment in time and Sawyer’s reaction. The thought of being in that position is insane, Sawyer truly is an amazing and beautiful woman that’s had so much shit thrown at her and this book doesn’t give her a break either, there’s a whole lot more in store for her in The Outliers. We get to see her true strength and love play out and damn, it’s incredible to watch. With Finn by her side or in her thoughts every step of the way she knows she can outcome anything and everything.

After finally coming to terms with everything that happened in book one Finn is a changed man, he’s happy and living life. The love he shows to Sawyer is absolutely mesmerising. He’s what every woman hoped for in a man.

Let’s not forget the secondary characters. Josh and Miller are brilliant, they always succeed in making you laugh. Then there’s Critter, good god that man is hilarious. I love the dad side of him. Caroline was also lovely, she’s strong and such a great mum.

Oh and that ending, what a pleasant surprise to see a familiar face, I loved that TM added that part.

~

My words can NOT even begin to describe how much I loved this book. From the characters to the storyline everything was just absolutely on point. TM Frazier has a way with making you feel part of the story, making you feel like you’re in the book and going through every single thing the characters are going through. The sadness, the happiness, everything.

This book is exactly what I needed and I feel a huge book hangover coming along. I truly wish I could give this a higher rating that just 5 stars because it deserves so much more.

I do not think this series need to be duet. 1 book I think its enough. However after finish listening to the audiobook, I understand why it needs to be a duet.

The Outliers is highlight Sawyer journey to be a strong fearless woman. And she is indeed becoming fearless and strong woman. A woman worth of love and acceptance. She faces her greater fear and she prevail. And as Finn, I grows on him. He is mischief. And his idea of dating Sawyer makes me smile. He is sweet guy.

So this was quite a surprise! It had a lot of twists and turns I didn't see coming!

As I said in my first review I have a weak spot for the name Sawyer! It sounds just so strong and powerful! I love it! I loved Sawyer she was so quite and very innocent I loved her! I just hate what she al went through, but she was still so strong! Even with all she went through she still got forward and kept being strong!

I loved their journey! It was unique like they all are and had something special about it!

Sawyer ran from her terrifying, zealot father in hopes of finding out something about the outside world her mother shared with her when she passed. She had keys, some money, and a rough idea of where to go. Once in the Outskirts she finds something she never knew existed; friendship, love, and a makeshift family in Finn, Josh, Miller, and Critter. She's found happiness in this new life, but all of that is threatened when her old community brings its teaching to the small town and with it all her past she thought she'd left behind. With some of the past comes good, but she won't get to enjoy it as long as her father is out to get her back. Sawyer knows Finn will do anything to protect her though, they have found a love that is meant to be and no past hurt and lies will keep them from a future.

"My heart fluttered in my chest like it grew wings and was trying to escape."

The Outliers shifts the focus from the first release, The Outskirts, from Sawyer and her escape to a complex story about family and friendships. We learn much about Sawyer's mother, her father, and her past that is built upon lies meant to protect her. We also get a glimpse into how much Sawyer is changed by the events from her childhood and her new reality, we see her learning and changing as her friends share with her and as she discovers love with Finn. Finn is still a total heartthrob, showing us that the brooding boy we first met really just needed to right girl to bring him back into the land of the living. He has his heart on his sleeve with Sawyer and their romance and sweet, over-the-top love story is something to envy. There are a lot of twists in this book, there has to be with a history like Sawyer has, but there are a lot of great surprises too. There is so much going on though, it's the sort of duet that reads like an extra long single novel and it's worth reading all at one time.

"And the day of reckoning was here."

I tried to really give The Outliers my entire attention, but it's an easy book to skim even with its unique story line. It felt rushed, like parts of it belongs to the first release in the duet, The Outskirts, and like the rest was added in to turn it into a duet. There were so many moments that could have been built on, but so much was going on that what could have been important slipped into the cracks and odd moments and chapters found their way onto the pages instead. The romance between Finn and Sawyer is fierce, the loyalty between mother and daughter, friends, and family is such a great part of the story, but neither gets the development they deserve. Ultimately, I wish I'd read these books back to back, waiting for the release of both, because it might have felt more cohesive all together.

"Your eyes give you away, Sawyer. They always have."

The Outskirts Duet is a perfect example of T.M. Frazier's ability to come up with a romance novel that is gripping and unique, featuring characters and story lines that aren't in every other book on the market. Finn and Sawyer are the sort of characters you will come to care for like friends, you'll spend every page hoping for all the dreams they have to come true. The writing is passionate, the story is fresh, and the entire duet is now LIVE so you won't have to wait impatiently like I did.

SHE NAILED IT! T.M. Frazier gives us one HELL of an epic conclusion to another SMASH HIT series! The Outskirts Duet was sexy, suspenseful, and captivating TO THE CORE! There wasn’t a second that went by while reading this series, where I wasn’t completely and utterly enthralled with every single word on the page. Primary and secondary characters alike, they just MADE this story what it was, a romantic suspense masterpiece!

If you haven’t picked up a T.M. Frazier book yet, don’t worry, I won’t judge. I was a little late to the party as well, but MY GOD! You need her books in your life! Start with this duet, seriously! Become addicted. Become HOOKED on every word. Then go immerse yourself in her incredible backlist with the KING SERIES! You will just DIE…it’s ALL so freaking good!

She left us in shock and awe at the ending of book one, but she MORE THAN makes up for it in her final installment of the duet. Sawyer and Finn are just LIFE together! Miller, Josh, and even Wilfredo will just steal your heart! The development of the main character’s relationship is GOALS in every way. I absolutely LOVED these two and all I can say is I WANT MORE!

EXPLOSIVE! HEARTBREAKING! SUSPENSEFUL! SCORCHING HOT! The Outliers was EVERYTHING I could have EVER wanted in a romantic suspense finale.

So I’ve been impatiently waiting for this duet and we pick up right where we left off. I have to say that I wasn’t as invested with this second part of the story. Don’t get me wrong I loved The Outskirts but this book just fell flat in some areas and I found the plot to be predictable at times. We did get some much needed closure and I’m content with the outcome but this wasn’t my favorite book by the author.

Its so Heartbreaking that I'm rating a T.M Frazier book this low. I tried so hard to love this but it wasn't for me. I have a lot of issues with this book, below are some of them.

●This series should be just a book, the first and second book is just 300+ pages, I don't get why it was splitted into two books.

●The characters are the worst, Finn is an asshole who took advantage of a naive girl and Sawyer is a stupid and ignorant girl who slept with the first man who gave her attention without protection, haven't she heard of STDs, HIV is real. The author said she is from a conservative religious group, I grew up in a church and we were thought about STDs, that was even more scary than pre-marital sex been a sin cause you know you'd be forgiven.

●The depiction of Christianity even though its fiction I feel like its sending the wrong message. Its so unrealistic, maybe it does happen, I know about Amish communities and all but this one is a misogynistic religion that thrives on alcoholism and abuse, I don't see where that was okay in the Bible. Didn't the women read the Bible on their own, they are police stations for Christ sakes.

●The romance was so so cringy, how they met and fell in love, what in heaven's name was thar, he was basically lording over her but it was okay? And she ran away from home for that same reason? I just cannot condone that.

Cant help it. Cutest proposal ever. Totally adorable. And not too cheesy. It was really thoughtful and romantic. And I loved that about Finn. He was caring and protective of Sawyer, helped her grow and be brave...But...THE OUTLIERS by TM FRAZIER on the whole, fell a little flat for me.

I’m a big fan, but I just couldn’t get into this book. I literally had to force myself to finish it. I will say though, I really enjoyed the relationship growth of Finn and Sawyer in this book. The time spent with Josh and Miller was also a highlight for me. But Richard, c’mon, Go. The. Fuck. Away. I hated him. These poor people suffered enough.

This series was less rugged than past series’s by Frazier. It Wasn’t as gritty or raw as the King Story line-less signature Frazier vibe. Refreshing? Maybe. Less interesting? Definitely. Just meh for me.

Her next book sounds very intriguing though. So I haven’t given up hope yet. They can’t all be winners.

Like all of Frazier's Duets I couldn't wait to start this sequel. I had so many unanswered questions and a lot of conspiracy theories in my head, because I know when it comes to Frazier something is bound to happen. I actually really loved the conclusion and I was happy that some of my far fetched crazy thoughts didn't become a reality.

This story is more than a love story between Sawyer and Finn. It's a story of Sawyer and Finn discovering themselves and learning to live. That doesn't even begin to touch on all the other relationships in the story and how I just felt completely connected to everyone.

If you are looking for a read that's fast paced, sexy and a little crazy this is it!

There is an upside and a downside to getting an ARC. The upside is you get it before most fans and you love it to bits. The down side is that because you love it to bits you want to tell everyone the down and dirty of the book but you can’t cause it isn’t out yet and needs to be spoiler free. Gah!

Here comes my spoiler free review.

“This is fate. This is us. “

We pick off from book 1 with the whooper of a cliffhanger. So scoot and go and read book 1 first.

Sawyer has been sheltered and some of the things that she came out with where adorable and there was no need for embarrassment. She can’t be broken. She isn’t weak-minded she is piss and vinegar. A force to be reckoned with. But before the end of this book there is more that she will have to fight for. Her past is back, the church is there to bring her home.

Finn continues to be the fantastic Hero that he was in book 1 and gosh he is amazing. He is everything you want, considerate, sweet, hot, filthy and well the lord of the swamp. We see how he embraces the second chance he has been given. Nothing will stop him. He loves fiercely, possessively. Crazily. Always.

Each time we came together was better than the last. Each time it fused us together more and more and I knew by now that our future was the kind that only ended in forever.

I feel like a broken record as I constantly say that Ms. Frazier knows how to suck you into the world that she has created. I can’t sing her praises enough. Be it her characters, the grittiness and even giving you some deep and meaningful things to think about.

There is a love story within a love story. Not that this is your typical love story I mean we are talking about T.M. Frazier here. She truly can spin amazing tales that leave you wanting more and more. Ms. Frazier nearly got me with the end but I just knew that something more was to come and boy did something more come. Nice touch there, made me feel all giddy.

I love TM Frazier. That will never ever change. But this is a reminder to myself to not read her books until they are all released. It is actually a huge annoyance when authors release books in pieces. I read so many books that by the time a part 2 or part 3 of a series is released I have already forgotten everything that has happened. This is exactly what happened with this book. It was until the 25% in that I was remembering everything from the first one. I feel like this book would have been way better if I just read them back to back.

That is all.

A beautiful conclusion to Sawyer and Finn' story

Outliers picked up right where The Outskirts ended without giving anything away questions were answered and old love found each other again.

I really loved Sawyer and Finn together, their chemistry was amazing and they were hot, passionate and loving toward each other.

I felt how the story progressed was good and I am happy with the ending, but I must admit I loved the first book a lot more. Nevertheless I enjoyed the conclusion to this beautiful love story.

3.5 stars!! A bit predictable but still very entertaining. Again I cannot believe this is the same author who King, Lawless, and Rage. This duet was so tame. Lol.
