This is just your typical biography, even so I enjoyed reading it. I actually got it for my mother to read, from a thrift store, as the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, taught her in her early years of schooling.
Thus, seeing I didn’t know much about this saint, I read it after her. What a very incurable strong woman, this saint was. She faced many hardships throughout her life, as she attempted to carry out her mission, which was all about bringing a little humanity to people, to whom were struggling to adapt to a new society, as large numbers of Italian migrants travelled to the U.S and other nations.
Yet, always relied on Jesus Christ and her faith, to get through things.

She is a female role model, I can relate too, not like the modern role models.

So, yeah I enjoyed reading this book, on a night I couldn't sleep.
