I thought there were some very interesting highlights in this book. I think it’s more for beginners of certain philosophy or therapy but I enjoyed looking at things from another perspective
"The four elements are powerful guides for how to live in alignment with your true self. Every breath of air can bring more spaciousness into your being. Fire invites you to burn away what no longer serves you. Water shows you how to be fluid and open to what life brings. The earth beneath your feet reminds you to nourish and sustain yourself always and in all ways. Each element offers a tool for transformation, and together they represent a path to Big Freedom."
This is a great beginner's guide to shadow work. It is gentle and lovely and an easy read.
Is recommend is to baby witches trying to figure out where to begin with shadow work!
But for me most of it was repetitive as I've been on this path for quite a while. The meditations are wonderful though and I think most of us can benefit from those!
Quick, easy read. Lots of great information/reminders for dealing with emotions and perceptions. I really enjoyed the connection she makes with the 4 earthly elements. See. Cleanse. Open. Nourish. Includes practices for implementing these changes in your life.
An incredible read. Easy to digest and you're able to easily incorporate the practices into your daily routine. No fluff. Highly recommend for anyone that has trouble switching of their disaster mind as HeatherAsh calls it.
It was my first book jumping into Shamanism. It was helpful to put things into perspective and I enjoyed the rituals and practices included in the chapters. Really helped me to understand what the elements are all about.
I really enjoyed her previous books and was looking forward to this one but it didn't resonate as strongly with me as her other stuff has. Still, it was good.
I read this series because it was recommended, but I've been incredibly disappointed. There was nothing in any of the books that was truly groundbreaking. Worse, the ideas were so vague at times that it felt like a waste of words. Sorry I spent the time reading this.
