Cartel princess Cora Swan is living a life of luxury at Javier's villa, trying to forget about the men who abandoned her. But soon, her idyllic days are over.
Manipulative Javier proposes marriage, and it seems Cora doesn't have any choice but to accept.
Even though the men who abandoned Cora have returned, her future still looks grim.
She'll have to decide who she wants to be: capo only in name, or capo for real.
Find out what Javier has planned for Cora in the third installment of the Their Lady of Shadows series.
Be warned: this series is not for the faint of heart as it contains dark themes and even darker personalities.
I'm loving this dark cartel romance series so much!!! Cora is definitely the woman to root for!!! Finn and Lars are still here causing problems for Javier and taking care of Cora for the most part. We get introduced to Kane Price from the DEA and I am definitely looking forward to reading more chapters with him in them. Someone from the past pops back in and we also meet Neo, Javier's son. There's a wedding in the near future and Don Zachary is still looking to acquire Cora for his own nefarious purposes. This book has a lot going on and it's a definite attention grabber and holder for that matter. This series is one I highly recommend and I'm dying for book four cause I need to know what happens next. Loved, loved, loved this book.
I LOVED IT! ADDICTIVE! I need more! Voluntarily review OMG! I can't get enough of this intoxicating series! It gets under your skin setting your senses on fire its there tugging pulling at you nipping at your heels you don't want it to stop, you want to be bitten, raw, hard, searingly painfull, submitting begging for more as the words consume you! Your adrenaline surges taking over you your senses sending your fingers in a race to devour the brutal crazy twisted delicious words savoring in the tastes of desire and the fierce raw grueling hellridden drama you mind tells you to get out stop but the words inflame your addiction holding you captive till the very last word has been read! Exciting, intense, angst, fierce, raw, addicting, mind boggling, shocking, emotionally charged, undeniable hot chemistry, suspense, page turning twists and impossible to put down! An electrifying must read that will continue to haunt you long after the last page has been read! I LOVED IT!
ONE WILD AND DARK RIDE!!! Talk about hitting the ground running. This bad boy shows no mercy and no holding back. It's a tale no prisoners and no holds barred type of deal. Action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, adrenaline pumping, heart pounding, page turning bombshell that grabs your attention from the start. All the twists and turns and the circumstances surrounding the characters as the tale unfolds that really lick it in to a nailbiting, spine tingling, suspense filled and danger closed on their heels. As Logan's true to form the characters and their personalities are so realistic and believable. The scenes are descriptive and detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as it plays out perfectly. Logan did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Logan, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
I had a revelation recently. I'm not as patient as I thought I am. I'm willing to go as far as to say I'm impatient - but surely only occasionally (so much self-criticism is enough for today).
I read a lot but I became too comfortable with books where the heroes and heroines are presented to me in a nice stand-alone package. Stories that are consumable at once. Not because these stories are bad or light or without message. Far from it. Just because they are standalones I get everything during the course of one book. That usually consist of a good, or even great, story; heroes and heroines I learn to like; preferably a good dose of romance; some twists and turns and at last a happy ending.
What I forgot recently was that not every story fits in one sole book. Not every characters' destiny could be squeezed in one volume. There are heroes and heroines who need a lot more page count to reach the potential they are destined to. These characters usually come from very deep. They're usually bad too. They had past they'd like to erase or at least forget, for a while that is. Or the contrary. They are too good for the depraved world they find themselves in. They fight the evil circumstances. They evidently become corrupted but their spirit don't surrender.
I had a controversial experience with this series. My impatience clouded my vision. In the previous books I didn't much like the main characters nor their behaviour nor their actions. Their flaws were many and didn't feel like they would change or I could change my opinion about them. I put them in their boxes and that was it. I went on with the series because the cartel storyline is actually very good and the characters' destiny still intrigued me. In this third book the story goes even better, I loved the turn of the events. I even pretty much warmed up to the characters, thanks to their development and changes in behaviour (but I'm still not there 100%). This book was exciting, intriguing, dark, gruesome. Yeah, but that's a dark romance so what's new, right? I can't wait book 4 to find out what happens next.
I started this book weeks ago, but due to travel, I feel behind in reading this one. Well, I just finished and had to get up from bed to come and write this review because it was just that good.
That ending!!! Man, that was intense, crazy and left me whooping for Cora. She really grew a pair in this book and turned into a really strong heroine instead of the meek young lady we meet in Book 1 (and even most of Book 2). I think Lars has a lot to do with this change in character for Cora and his pushing her to make that change was a bit surprising to me given how 'carefree' he always seems. I was so happy by the ending of this book, but know it's far from over in the Cora Swan saga.
And the bedroom scene at the end was insanely hot. I was a bit skeptical on how it would all work, especially with the reintroduced character, but Ms. Fox sure does know how to write erotica and make it shine in the midst of all the darkness of the rest of the book. I liked that the whole book wasn't just that though. It's just a small part of the plot, but comes at a good time in the book where things are getting a little too intense and you just need a break from the seriousness.
I can't wait to see how Kane plays into the next book. He's certainly an intriguing character that apparently has a loose ethics.
I will say that parts of this seemed to drag for me (the middle), but that ending alone made me give this one 5 stars because it completely redeemed the slowness of the book and made me forget any issues I had with the rest of the book lol. This book had a lot more twists that I didn't see coming versus those in previous book that were too predictable for me. I appreciated that since it kept me on my toes. I can't wait to continue with Book 4!
I guess the thing that struck me the most about this book was the plan of a ganglord to marry his son to the daughter of a former friend. But all he wants is her inheritance (he was appointed her guardian before the friend finds out how much he is hated since they both loved the same woman). But after she marries his son he plans to kill her so that her inheritance will get passed on. Will she be able to defend herself from this man who wants to kill her? And in the midst of all the action and suspense, will she be able to find true love? There were great sex scenes along the way as well and also many interesting characters. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a plot well beyond a simple love story.

Holy mackerel! This series keeps getting better and better. The characters develope more and become stronger and stronger. We get to see Finn, Cora, and Lars. They continue too have this chemistry that is off the charts. There is so much action, drama, and suspense throughout the entire story. It so good that you just can’t put it down. This one continues where the last one left off, which is fantastic because it doesn’t leave you feeling like you missed something as some stories tend to due. It is dark, gritty, and oh so suspenseful. You are definitely going to want to read this. Yes you need to read the first two but this is definitely worth reading. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is the 3rd book of the series and each book just keep's getting better than the last & damn does Logan bring her A game. It picks up where it left off in book 2 and from there it is non stop, page turning, twists & turns that you don't see coming and let's just say the last few chapter's🔥times 5. Oh boy is Cora getting herself into more hot water and Javier is only to happy to pour it on her and Finn & Lars are all to ready to take him out. Mercy talk about lies you don't know who to believe. This story just like the other book's gripped me from the start and has left me thirsting for more. I can't wait to read what happen's in book 4. I'd definitely recommend reading this book hell the whole series.
Javier is the enemy in this gritty dark mafia drama. To say he’s evil is an understatement as he plans unthinkable horrors on his own daughter. Everything bad, everything horrible in Cora’s life is because of Javier. His twisted manipulation of he life knows no bounds. We have Finn and Lars who will protect her with their lives and then her childhood love in Bailey as he also returns seemingly from the dead. Filled with scene after scene of graphic steamy couplings with these three men, all the while being controlled and taunted by Javier.
This was a dark, compelling and twisted read.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Once again I was hooked from page one right through to the end.
Cora along with her 2 bodyguards have to find a way to get her out of her impending marriage to Javier son Neo who also does not want this marriage. In steps Bailey who Cora thought was dead and realises her feeling for him are still there.
I am not going to go into detail about the story but rest assured this is one series you do not want to miss. Cant wait for book 4 in this series.
The saying 'there is no honour among thieves it seems is more than true when it comes to drug cartels and Logan Fox does an incredible job of bringing it to life in this book. The Introduction of Kane was an interesting twist as was Cora's actions at the end. Bailey and the 4some was surprising as well as very hot, can't wait to see what happens there.
Even though many questions were answered in this book, many more were raised and I can't wait for the next one.
Omg, fantastic, the story continues from where it left off and wow, there are so many twists and turns and things you don't see coming, I was riveted, Finn and Lars are still trying to protect Cora, but now there is another player in the mix and a surprise is awaiting her. This is just the start of maybe bigger things and I can't wait to find out what is in store for them next.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
W-O-W!! This series is AMAZING....so many twists. The sexual chemistry between all the characters just builds and it is so nerve racking. This is definitely a series you want to read all of so you don't miss anything. There are so many plots going on that you are grabbed and are compelled to keep reading. This series calls to the inner demon so read on.

Dark, twisty and so delicious. It’s the third book of the series and you have to read them all but this is one series you absolutely want to get your hands on. The characters keep growing with each new book and there are so many twists and turns you won’t want to put it down. Definitely one click worthy. I received an ARC of the book and this is my honest review
It seems her Life has been arranged a wedding is going to happen and she is stuck in his home. Her protectors are missing. Will they reappear? Where are they? Can she get away from him? Follow her and seen what she will do

Darkness, we have arrived. As has La Sombra. *chuckle*
While book one and two were steadily building up the pressure, book three is done with holding back, on so many levels. While there is tension galore between all the players – they push, they pull, and even throw the odd tantrum – the gloves are coming off, and some of that build-up is finally getting released. And oh how I love that release!
The end is cathartic. Cora was spectacular and never more beautiful than in that moment. I’m excited to find out what she does next!!
Kane, a new player, is skirting the edges. He’s intriguing and hot as fuck. I definitely need to see more of him too. All of it, please? *drool*
Reading this third instalment is an adrenaline rush with your heart in your throat. What a ride! I am so loving this series, the characters are well developed and the storyline is mind boggling. Looking forward to book 4.
This is another great addition to this series. Characters are well-developed and the story is well-written. Can't wait for the next installment. Definitely recommend this book.
An addictive series to read. I found this tale very enthralling as it grabs the readers attention and won't let go. Very addictive and dark story that is well written, as each additional tale in the series just keeps getting better. There are lots of twists and turns. This is my honest opinion.
Hitched was filled with pulse-pounding, spine-tingling action! From the first lead to the final word, there is danger everywhere. I loved the way this book took everyone out of their normal selves, and their crazy, dire circumstances pushed them all past their limits. There's passion and heat, love and hate, and impossible situations, so get ready to hold onto your seat! This has been an amazingly thrilling series so far, I love the suspense, the chase, the darkness and the blurred lines between good and evil!
It shouldn’t be possible, but this serie gets better and better. Cora.... Breathless us a word - it happens a lot. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Holy Chit! Be prepared! We add one more to the mix or maybe two - We also lose a couple players from the mess of who's who- A rumor swirls that some are not lost - or it could be a ploy for control This is book three - NOT a standalone Cora's world has become a haze of alcohol and spa days, she seems to be ignoring the reality of her predicament - her men walking away and losing her father has left a void that she is filling with - well - more emptiness The past steps into her present and her world is once again turned inside out Javier makes his next move and it looks like Cora is his planned sacrifice - Will she find the courage to choose her own path? Is she strong enough to go against her godfather? I have so many questions
I purposely waited until I read the 3 available books in this series before I rendered my review. I really enjoyed the underlying story ( although the Spanish phrases threw me) and the romantic (?) scenes were unbelievably intoxicating but there were times I became lost in all the sea of who belonged on what side of the aisle. Good guys, not so good guys, bad guys and really bad guys. As L. Fox brings in new characters I can visualize this series going on for some time. So I will continue to follow to see how involved the La Sombra gets involved with the cartel and with all her suitors (?) Reply involved story. Not a "quickie" by at means!
WOW outstanding I was kept on the edge of my seat. This is the 3rd book in the series and its a brilliant read!!!!! I don't want to give any spoiler so I'm going to keep it short and sweet. Cora you Rock!!! You will NOT be disappointed I don't think Logan Fox knows how to do write anything but a smash hit. SO excited to read more from you. I voluntary read an ARC and now I'm choosing to leave my honest review.
Book three continues with Cora, Finn and Lars on their suspensful and stirring journey. Unable to trust anyone and sometimes not even each other, plans for escape are made and discarded time and again. How could Ms. Fox add even more twists, turns and thrilling events to a storyline that was already way beyond exciting but she does. Now Kane Price, DEA has been added, Bailey has returned to everyone's surprise and don't forget Don Zachary and his obsession with Cora! For me this just keeps getting better and better - drawing me in with the intensity of the emotions displayed. I received a free copy of this book with no expectation of a positive review only an honest one.
I received an arc, and am voluntarily leaving this review. OMG!!!!!!! This series is so awesome. I can't put them down once I start reading them. It is so interesting and dark and twisted that it's really almost impossible to put it down. I loved the ending to this one, and I can not wait until book 4 comes out! This series is so engrossing that it's almost painful to wait for the next one....lol...I so very highly recommend this whole series!!!!!
The story starts with Kane Price (DEA Agent who has lost his badge and state issued weapon, for a short time, for overstepping his boundaries) is searching a house where there was an assumed hit made on Noah Green . . . two new characters to this series so they must be important. If not, why start with them?
Tracey Highmore, who works for the humane society in the area shows up to the house looking for Noah to check on the pittie he had adopted. The pit bull was missing and no mention of the dog in the police report
Kane takes out his notebook and adds PitBull to the list of items under Zachary Wests name. West has PitBulls . . . could this be a connection to his case on West he has been on for a decade?
Wonder when Eledora Rivera (Cora Swan), Milo Finn and Lars Eklund, from the first two books of the series will appear? They are not mentioned in Chapter 1 is the first twist/turn in this book .
The thrill of the next book in this series is higher than going from Book 2 to Book 3 so I am hooked harder than I have been . . . wonder what will happen?
