Format: audiobook
Bk 1: murder and chocolate fudge cake
These stories are not particularly challenging and there are plenty of things that you could take issue with, questioning murder suspects in car parks for instance, but that being said if you like cosy mysteries then you’ll enjoy this one.
Bk 2: murder and layer cake
I’m starting to think David should give up his day job as a seasoned detective seeing as his wife always seems to do a better job than him lol.
Enjoyable enough and not too taxing.
Bk 3: murder and chocolate cake
This one has been my favourite so far. Instead of the exact same plot of the others this ones has the husband and wife team looking for escaped convicts instead of investigating a recent murder.
Bk 4: murder and citrus cream cake
One thing I’m learning from this series is to never move to Treasure Cove and definitely don’t make friends with Sabrina Carlson way too many of its residents and her friends get murdered!
Bk 5: murder and cherry cake
This was enjoyable because it was slightly different. The husband and wife team were starting with a kidnapping rather than murder!
Bk 6: murder and vanilla cake
A tried and tested plot, Sabrina and David need to track down another killer in their small town. I’m surprised there’s anyone left in treasure cove!

This series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. The addition of the latest book Chocolate Cupcakes with a Side of Murder occurs when Jessica (Sabrina and David’s daughter) is 18 and entering the police academy. While each book took you from the beginning of Sabrina’s tragic loss of her sister when Sabrina was a teenager to becoming an empty nester. You will get to know David, Sabrina and her family as well as the citizens of Treasure Cove. They will become friends and you will look forward to reading about them. You really need to read this series, you will love it.

An altogether delightful cozy series featuring detective David and his unpaid sleuth wife Sabrina solving another murder in the small town of Treasure Cove! Always an interesting cast of characters, unexpected plot twists, and really odd red herrings. The publisher's blurb is good enough for recap, and no spoilers would do, so just enjoy! I certainly did!
In the first six, daughter Jessica is eleven, but number seven skips forward in time to Jessica starting at the Police Academy and the parents (and pet dog) suffering separation anxiety as they become empty nesters. But they don't have much time for this as sequential murders of their own force need to be investigated!

A great series!
A great series. If you like cozy mysteries with characters that are believable and likable then this series is for you. There is even a new book added to this series. I have read and enjoyed each book. They are quick reads and kept me guessing until the very end. I just love the wholesomeness of this series. I highly recommend this boxed set to anyone who loves great mysteries.

Treasure Cove is going crazy!
In this set of cozy Mysteries (or should I say murders?) Sabrina and David's daughter, Jessica , is getting older in each one as the crime-solving duo attempts to figure out each murder. And I must say that each murder is getting crazier than the last!! I never get tired of reading Meredith Potts cozies. Not to spoil the ending of the last book, but I'm really looking forward to see what happens with Jessica in the next one!

The Mysteries of Treasure Cove box set is a large collection of short, clean, cozy mysteries. These stories are a pleasant diversion for readers who enjoy a simple mystery with a delicious dessert.
The narrator of the audiobook has a pleasant voice with a slight Canadian accent. She is not very good at differentiating her character voices however.

Mystery????
The first book was ok. Most of the following book were so similar that you cold change the names of the suspects and have the new book. If the suspect didn't confess, they would never been found guilty because there was no evidence to tie them to the crime. Very disappointing!!

Mysteries of Treasure Cove Mystery Box Set was another great set of books by Meredith Potts. This box set consists of; Murder and Chocolate Fudge Cake, Murder and Layer Cake, Murder and Chocolate Cake, Murder and Citrus Cream Cake, Murder and Cherry Cake, Murder and Vanilla Cake, and Chocolate Cupcakes with a Side of Murder. I can’t wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

Another good read
I really enjoyed this series. You fall in love with the characters and their antics. They keep you reading from book one to the last story. Only draw back is I always get hungry reading them.

Disappointed. :(
This just reaffirmed why I dont like several books in a set! Its repetition, repetition, repetition! Write 1st book, subsequint books-same story, differant names! BORING!!

Good read
Would like to read others by this author. The major problem I had with the boxed set was the series went from the daughter,Jessica, aging from 11 to 18 . It just made the last book in the series disjointed from the rest.

Loved them all
Loved them all especially reading while Jessica the daughter is growing up and being sent away with her grandparents during cases. Just long enough to get info needed to solve cases. Easy reads.

These six short murder stories all involve the amateur sleuth Sabrina and her police detective partner who reside in the small coastal town of Treasure Cove. With plot lines consisting of many twists and turns, writing that is entertaining and not heavy, narration that enhances the listening experience, these are very enjoyable narratives. Whilst the brain is kept active the overall experience is one of relaxation.
