Liberalism: Find a Cure

Rate this book
It’s as if we’re living in an episode of the Twilight Zone. Every day we are inundated by news reports, trending topics on social media, and new political movements promoting such bizarre beliefs about race, gender, sexuality, and life in general, that it’s impossible in many cases to distinguish whether such ideas are serious or if they’re a parody of what liberalism has become.

The political differences between liberals and conservatives used to be pretty well established, but recently the tug of war between the Left and the Right took a dramatic and disturbing turn. Modern liberalism has been replaced with new mind-boggling agendas promoting the adoption of unscientific, authoritarian, and sociologically disastrous ideologies.

In attempts to accomplish their plans, the Left are conspiring to end freedom of speech, traditional families, long-cherished holidays, and hope to implement a new world order. Who is behind this madness? What is their ultimate goal? How far are they willing to go to achieve it? And what can we do to stop them?

Bestselling author and media analyst Mark Dice takes you on a tour inside the minds of those constructing this new social landscape in his groundbreaking Find a Cure.

This book is dangerous because it tells the painful truth of how safe spaces and social media are damaging society!

Book is trash. A lesson in confirmation bias. Punches down and panders to the most chronically insecure.

Better than expected

I have watched many of the authors you tube videos. I find him humorous (especially when he wears those taped together glasses) but also spot on with his commentary. I highly recommend this book to anyone with a interest in the absolutely ridiculous, and dangerous, aspects of liberalism in today's society. Our society is indeed under attack.

I love to tune into Mark Dice on YouTube for the latest Liberal embarrassments as much as the next man. I had been meaning (still do) to read his Truth about Fake News, but then this came out unexpectedly and I decided to just buy it and support him straight up. Especially going off his own assurance that viewers would be pleasantly surprised at what a "serious" writer he is, and how his videos are just a side-thing to his real passion of printed media, I was disappointed to find this book to be little more than a written version of his generally funny/awakening videos.

Yet in this case, the book is much weaker. On several points it failed for me, and I am not pleased to say that because I really wanted to like it. Contrary to what I took as his ardent suggestion that his book was much less comical and more serious, its style of presentation is lazy, shallow and far from the considered, academic angle I think would have validated its seriousness. The way it is, Dice just comes off as a rattled old man, bitching and pointing the finger at crazies without offering any kind of intelligent response. It eventually gets to feeling like political correctness in reverse, whereby we are supposed to be triggered and upset about these lunatics, yet do nothing but simmer in our own, impotent spaces.

Obviously there is no question that the things Dice talks about are disgusting. I would like nothing more than to see the sickening freaks that hide under the umbrella of Liberalism rejected and mocked like they deserve. Instead we have mainstream culture not just glorifying such Godless behaviour, but sometimes even policing our acceptance of it. This book was a troubling read, but at the same time, it offers nothing new. Those who will actually read this already know about the dark side of the Left. Like with the Liberal idiots on late-night television ranting on Trump, the audience does not need convincing. They need to sort out how to combat the evil in modern Western society. Complaining about it won't change anything. Both sides are already so entrenched in this hateful stalemate. Unfortunately Mark Dice, here, is only contributing to that.

Lastly, the book left me feeling very unsatisfied. At least in some of his videos, you get to see these losers cop a taste of their own medicine and humiliate themselves. This book doesn't offer any such catharsis. It is a book where the bad guys kick ass then win. We can only hope and pray that it isn't the same in real life.

Misery loves company

Liberalism and Feminism will destroy America as surely as will Socialism.

There are some hard truths in this volume, related in clear, blunt language. I found them disturbing as I have never questioned my gender, had an abortion, or practiced free bleeding. However, I do know that self-centered people who practice these things and engage in casual sex and short-term toxic relationships will never find happiness or contentment.

People who are never satisfied and continually search for "something more" will never reach the finish line. They will always be miserable and will attempt to make others miserable. They will seek out insignificant things to be offended by and to "prove" that those who disagree with them are racist, sexist, homophobic, or whatever other words they might invent to make themselves feel superior.

If only it were as easy as "finding a cure"!

Built in a shoddy foundation

Mr. Dice's points are built on a shoddy foundation of anecdotes, pseudoscience, omissions, and assumptions.

Mr. Dice asserts that if you are not a cisgender, monogamous, and heterosexual individual who follows all gender stereotypes then you are not "normal." If you are not "normal", then you must be a liberal. If you don't bully these abnormal people into conformity, then you are a crazy liberal. Who needs a nanny-state government telling you how to live when you have Mark Dice? He is just the Conservative version of the Social Justice Warriors he detests.

Additionally, Mr. Dice has anointed celebrities and bloggers as the leaders of liberals. Mr. Dice is fond of citing Breitbart and Infowars. He also cites his own psychology experiments that only prove how easily people will sign a petition. Try asking these people to contribute $1 to a cause and see how this changes results.

However, the most glaring problem of the book is the omission of how the free market is contributing to these so-called cultural shifts. Conservatives believe we don't need laws governing our social lives because the free market will take care of it. That is, unless it takes care of it in a way they don't like. Companies don't actually care about being inclusive, they care about creating as many consumers as possible. Does Revlon really care about gender norms or are they just trying to double their market by convincing men they too can wear makeup?

Mr. Dice doesn't like that the world is changing. He seems to long for the days of laughing at abnormal people on Jerry Springer. He sees one path to happiness and wants to deny you access to all other paths. If you're not "normal", he wants to deny your right to exist.

Informative and disturbing

If you follow Mark Dice on YouTube then you'll probably enjoy this. Some of the content I had seen on his YouTube channel, but there was a lot of new info as well. Most of the things the liberal activist/SJW/feminist say and do is ridiculous and funny because it's so insane. But there are also some very disturbing and harmful things that should not be accepted or tolerated. I found this to be really informative with footnotes at the end so you can look all the information up on your own and read more on a subject that the book touches upon. I got this on Kindle Unlimited and I will recommend this book to others...

This book is very good, and Dice chronicles all the insanity of the left to precision. I wish I could say I thoroughly enjoyed reading it but I must be honest, as well as it was chronicled it was just anxiety inducing. I am a huge fan of Dice and read his last book Fake News, which was very good, but this book here is difficult because the content is insane, but the scary part is it’s true. So A+ for homework Mark, but enjoyability was about a C, and it’s not his fault it’s just too much insanity. Glad I read it, but also glad it’s over.

12/30/2018- If you follow Mark Dice on YouTube or Facebook then you'll probably enjoy this. A lot of the info you'll read in this he covers in his YouTube videos. Some of it you may find disturbing (I did) and some of it is hilarious because of the absurdity of it. Mark Dice has many other books I plan to read and I would recommend this book...

👍 Great Book!

I was blown away by all the info in this book. It is amazing. Some of it was so crazy, you couldn't help but laugh, but it really is sad to think we could have sunk to this level. Everyone needs to read this book. I have read his other books, but this one is his best.

I'd give this book something like 2.6 stars. I think if you follow Mark Dice regularly on his youtube channel, you'll be familiar with his position on most of the issues detailed in this book. It is worth reading, but I'm afraid you won't find many new themes. Sure, it gives you a more complete overview over the leftists' agenda in today's world, but most of it can be found on Dice's youtube presence.

A plus is definitely the well-sourced and detailed summary of leftists' ideology, which can be quite worrisome for anyone who is unfamiliar with their doctrine. It explicates the underlying neo-marxist ideology, which basically tells you that whatever tradition you think of, it's "outdated" and "oppressive" and therefore must be abolished. Topics range from modern-day feminism over the gay agenda to transgenderism (and many more fringe phenomena you might not be aware of). Reading through this book, you'll probably find yourself shaking your head in disbelief various times. The insanity espoused by today's liberals, feminists and transgender people seems to know no boundaries.
I very much liked the call to action at the end of the book - an appeal to insulate yourself and your family from the pathological phenomena of modern-day leftist ideology and act on behalf of the preservation of our unique Western civilization.

Howevever, due to the lack of new information that you couldn't get from Mark's youtube channel and the sometimes repetitive elements in the book, I cannot give it a better rating - despite the vital depiction of creeping leftism it conveys. Especially in comparison to his earlier book "The true story of fake news", in which there is plenty of well-researched information on the media complex pushing a leftist agenda (and which was largely independent from the content provided on his youtube channel), this book pretty much pales.
Still, it's a nice read if you want to have a great laugh - or are in the mood to be absolutely terrified.

Liberalism is truly disease

Great job writing this Mark Dice. Ignore any one star reviews as these were made by demonic and irrational feminists and pussified soyboys. I have always despised the Liberal agenda. However, after reading your book, my own thoughts were just the tip of the iceberg. The extreme Liberal agenda discussed in your book (and obviously more craziness to come), shows the how mentally challenged and delusional these people are and how they are assaulting society with hidden agendas. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO READ THIS BOOK TO TRULY UNDERSTAND HOW ABSOLUTELY SCREWED UP THE LIBERAL AGENDA REALLY IS AND HOW THEY ARE PUTTING EVERYONE AT RISK.

Mark Dice's best book so far

Although the title doesn't say, I've only read two of Marks books, this one and The True Story of Fake News. It therefore may be a stretch to say this is his best book so far, but I mean it. There are a few grammatical errors, but that's only a small nitpick. Liberalism is far worse than I ever imagined. I should warn any potential reader, though, that Mark quotes a LOT of people, and some of those people use strong language, including the f-bomb, which is NOT censored (my only real complaint with the book). I would recommend parental discretion.

Great book

This is the most enlightening political book on the market today. Mark Dice not only exposes the fact that the Emperor has no clothes, but he tells you why the establishment wants you to believe things you know are nonsensical, irrational and are destroying our God given rights, our culture and our country.

While I didn't think the Author Found (or helped to Find) a Cure for Liberalism, he did certainly detail how far Out of Wack liberalism has gone. The numerous examples are almost an argument that those who aren't "Woke" are the delusional in society... and that's obvious (to me) Not the case. To this end, I felt the author does disservice to his title... We do hear his abbreviated last chapter Conclusion with a few such as voting in every election and teaching and protecting our children by isolating them from abuse of the mainstream But we Know that's not the correct Solution. Those who don't (didn't) agree with Woke-ists in the past Know why the mainstream is supporting this cr@p now. It's not mentioned by the author But it's obvious there are those with vested interests in turning men in women and women into men and all of them gay and Not Reproducing... And ripping Down society in the name of racism/genderism/name-your-division... these people have Shorted Humanity and placed a big bet on destroying a large part of it. We know that times of destruction are Profitable to those leading it And they think they've got the plan to Wipe Out a Large Part of Humanity. I'm hoping the Billions of us in the World pick up on their scheme and kill them before they convince us to kill each other. That's a cure not mentioned by the author. Have fun reading more of Mark Dice.

I watch Mark Dice’s YouTube channel and normally really enjoy his commentary. Overall I thought he brought to a light of issues with the liberal agenda. However, I do not agree with some of his viewpoints. He seems a little too conservative to me and this book seemed more biased than objective at a lot of points throughout the book. I also got the sense he was anti-gay and I understand that liberals go to the extreme end of sexual norms and gender expression, but he seemed largely intolerant of any lifestyle that wasn’t in line with his religious beliefs. Otherwise, great book. A little frightening that we are experiencing such a fracturing of our society that seems to continue on this downward spiral. Very heavily researched, and I like I was able to look up a lot of what he researched.

Full of Good Information

Mark Dice did a great job researching all the craziness the insane liberals are trying to force upon the American society. I was not aware of how far people will go to twist things - like purposely trying to get AIDS! The subjects Mark Dice talks about are sensitive material, so you probably won't hear much about it at the dinner table or at the office water cooler. Reading about the liberal agenda with the details in this book will open your eyes to the sickness that we must all be aware of.

Mark Dice has once again complied a compeling book about the state of our society, and shines a light on the growth of liberalism. I found this book very distubing at times, and had to put it down several times, but it is worth pushing through as the truth of what is happening in the world cannot be ignored. Like his last book on the True Story of Fake News, this work is eye opening and shocking.

I didn't leave the left the left left me!

Very interesting read for anyone trying to figure out what the hell is going on!. I don't agree with all the points raised but I must admit, most points were on the money. If your sick of being in wonderland and you want your feet back in Kansas.......this book will be your ruby slippers.

Timely and relevant

Most conservatives who’ve been paying attention will recognize in this book the maladies of our society that liberalism celebrates. The author does a great job of bringing these all into focus and illustrates with examples just how far the disease of liberalism has spread. I highly recommend reading this informative book.

While I do like watching Mark Dice's videos, this book is really just a compilation of the snippets of news that he has already covered in the past. What I was hoping to read was more of his commentary since he does say in his videos that he talks more in depth in his books since he can't on Youtube.

Entertaining read but lacked the depth the author claimed their would be.

Solid factual proof of leftist insanity

All of Mark's chapters are easily verifiable using his footnotes. Everyone should be aware the information he brings out whether they are for or against the radical changes going on in our society.

Some of the stuff I knew but found out even more. I laughed though much of the book about how crazy many people have gone and sickened by all the immorality that is being pushed on people that just want a normal life.
