Is God still in the miracle business today? This is the question Lee Strobel asked himself. A former atheist turned Christian, Lee launched a two-year investigation into the supernatural. The results will amaze you and strengthen your faith as you discover surprising truths. Using the popular question-and-answer format, Lee will lead you on a voyage of discovery and discernment as he takes on tough questions such Why is it important to know God acted in history? It’s so you’ll know He is able to continue to work today—in our world and in your life. The Miracles Answer Book will provide you with a more profound sense of the lengths that God will go to strengthen the faith of His people.
Lee Patrick Strobel is an American Christian author and a former investigative journalist. He has written several books, including four that received ECPA Christian Book Awards (1994, 1999, 2001, 2005)[2] and a series which addresses challenges to the veracity of Christianity. He also hosted a television program called Faith Under Fire on PAX TV and runs a video apologetics web site.
This book was a great read. Quick and easy to read yet very informative and also stirred up an extra appreciation for God’s miracles. I’m excited to read the full book.
So much to like here in this another great work of apologetics by Lee Strobel! 60 quick answers to questions having to deal with miracles. If you want more depth with these the author's The Case for Miracles would be a great companion to this one. The section on the Muslim people and their dreams that lead to a relationship with Jesus was very helpful and intriguing. As with many of the modern apologetic works the more Arminian bent towards answering questions of sin and suffering is troublesome. Overall, this is a work that is very helpful and I would recommend for all to read this.
I have read several of Lee Strobel's books and found this one on a clearance sale. You could call it the "cliff note" version to his longer work "The Case for Miracles". It is presented in a question and answer format with 60 questions. I found it a quick read and very informative as to what constitutes a miracle and examples of miracles both in the bible and in our present time. For what it is, I think it answers a lot of questions and to those students of theology that want more is a good starting point.
I believed in Gods miracles before reading/listening to this audiobook, but since I have several of Lee Strobels books, I was interested in his journalistic investigation into this topic… His response to 60 questions regarding miracles is excellent. Even more important to this topic is how he continually points people to Christ for salvation and hope. Conclusion: God is our source for all miracles. This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for everyone.
