Paradise Ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana Territory, is a melting pot of cowpokes, wanderers, and orphans who have come together to work for rancher Thomas O’Reilly. Journey with this band of lovable misfits as they each find their happily ever after in these sweet, western romances from bestselling author, Vivi Holt.
Vivi Holt writes inspirational romance. Of her books, readers say:
"The plot kept me enthralled and the pages turning" "I cried and laughed" "What an awesome ending. Can't wait for more!!"
Vivi lives in beautiful Brisbane, Australia with her husband and three young children. Growing up on a farm she learned to love the country life and now she writes about it in her books. History has always fascinated her as well, so writing historical romance seemed a natural progression. She loves horse-riding, hiking, and reading.
Her goal is to write touching, emotional and sweet romances stories that captivate the reader and transport them to another place and time.
After reading the preview, this sounded like it had potential. The writing was amateurish and the h was tstl. I wanted to slap her every time she was afraid to tell the H anything. The bit of romance between the two felt forced and was comical.
A couple of things screamed that the research was poorly done and/or the author doesn't know what she's writing about. When the cattle stampeded and the h and friend got under a straw tick mattress to help from being gored, it made me lol. That did it and I skimmed the rest.
I struggled to get half way in book two and finally gave up. There are so many more good books in this genre that I didn't feel like wasting my time.
Forced to marry an older and vicious man, Genevieve runs away and shows away on a wagon. Upon her discovery, she begs Thomas O'Reilly not to send her back and hopes he will let her work on his cattle wrangling to Montana.
This story is full of adventure, romance and sets the base for the series~

I really enjoyed this box set. I gave it 5 stars as you become completely invested with the characters as they unfold and to their happiness~
The five Paradise Valley Ranch stories in one book. I started reading this series a while ago, however now read the stories one after another. Vivi manages to convey characters that you can engage with and follow their stories as they intertwine in each of the books. This gives a sense of continuity whilst keeping the stories fresh. Written with a Christian underpinning, although not overtly so, sweet with some non - explicit violence this is a fine example of American Historical Romance by one of my favourite authors.
4 stars I purchased all the books in the Paradise Valley Complete Boxset books 1-5 by ViVi Hilt and this review was given freely. Multicultural sweet romances, with some ready made families, set in the old west punctuated by daily life, events surrounding the people of Paradise Ranch, current events of the nation, lots of violence, and a hint of humor.
The complete box set for Paradise Valley presents the reader with several pleasurable hours in the old west. Vivi Holt writes characters to whom you can relate. Since this is a series, main characters from one book appear in others so it feels like staying in touch with friends. These are vivid stories with a moral undertone. If you enjoy historical books, this set is a fine example.
Entertainingly creative related series. Characters who you can relate with, and cheer for. I enjoyed the variety of. events and the way the. characters handled dangerous situations.
A diverse group of people become a cohesive " family" living and learning together creating a prosperous lifestyle from hard work. Growing into a loving community.
In the complete Paradise Valley series, I devoured all 5 books straight after each other and found immense enjoyment in each one. Thomas O'Reilly and his cattle hands set out to move their cattle to Montana, where they each find love in the open country. Each couple encounters numerous obstacles in every book as they unite their lives together.
I`ve read all the stories when they got released and enjoyed them all. It has the adventure and love stories that you expect when you read the historical books by this author. I recommend this boxset.
Each book had a different storyline. I enjoyed each on the merits of the way it was made to be. Would like to see more description of the areas that was being written about felt it was too one dementional.
The more I read Vivi Holt’s works the more I fall in love with characters and the varied story lines. I especially love the historical information sections that follow many of her books. Headed to find her next set of novels ...
Oh what a wonderful excursion through the west! I just finished the complete boxed set! I really wish there was more! Like how Sarah & Bill made out on their trip to Cutters Creek and then how Tom's parents take to Paradise Ranch! More, more, more please!
I love Vivi Holt's books and these are all 5 great stories. Even though you know the characters, they move around different areas of the west. I especially like being able to read them all in series at one time!! Don's miss this sweet romance set!
I must admit I loved every in the set. Adenture, intrigue, suspense and happy love matches. Very well written with adventuresome romance twist to each storh. Definitely recommend it.
The author has obviously researched this time period well. Great characters and continuity through out the different books. Sad to finish reading it as the characters are so realistic and become ‘friends’. Well worth reading.
I feel as if I’m reading true stories only with the names changed to protect the innocent. Most of the stories deal with the harsh realities of the old west. Good conquers but evil makes a good run at it.
Great series filled faith, love, hope and adventure!
Well written. I loved how each book was the story of a different person but intermingled with the previous ones. Made me feel like I was part of Paradise Valley Ranch
Five novellas that are linked to Paradise Valley Ranch. Tom O'Reilly and his ranch hands each find love in the open country of Montana. Each of the couples has obstacles to face as they join their lives together.
What a wonderful set of books. You get to meet each couple that wed, and those who don’t. You learn more about them as the books go on. Delightful set, I enjoyed every book. I highly recommend this set.
Vivi Holts shows the joys and pitfalls of ordinary people. The books were full of suspense and love. The bonus was that she could share great stories without the worldly expletives, and vivid visuals that seem to grace so many books. Thank you Vivi
