Everything Is Moving, the debut narrative from Cassie Walker, chronicles the experience of trying to live consciously while being out of one’s element, and quite possibly, out of one’s mind. Travel into the depths of the jungle, through time, and within Cassie’s imagination to wonder about love, work, and coming of age in the 21st Century.
I’ve always dreamed of selling off everything and moving to the islands, and I got to live that in this amazing book. Fell in love with Cassie, Jon and the animals! XX
I am a bit nervous to review this book as I absolutely adore Cassie and I think she’s a wonderful person and I am happy to have supported her by purchasing this book. That being said, I had a very hard time finishing it. Without spoiling it for those planning to read this book, ‘Everything Is Moving’ tackles and addresses many important and interesting issues, but is also lighthearted in other areas. The animals are a highlight of the book, as are Cassie and Jon themselves. My main issue with the book has nothing to do with the content within the book but rather the way it was presented, and some technical issues I personally could not ignore. That being said, I still encourage everyone to read this book, this is MY review, and what I think may not be what you think.
