was trying to read this for 2years but it doesn't get better. the plot had potential at first but it gets boring real fast😮💨 2⭐️ only for the art style
I cried alot okay, like bawling crying. Such a heartfelt story and compact with emotions (read: subject on death and love). Enjoyed the story thoroughly, very interesting time travel / second chance theme with extremely well written characters development along the way. Author really do handled the plot and issues focusing on trauma, anxiety, and abuse wonderfully. Some plot / discussion were quite draggy, and some things do feel unnecessary to be included in the story (dalam kata lain, nisik nyambong). Also half of the story do feel like old typical rich people romance drama plot, and some issues and incidents are tad too cliché for my liking. It's just that, I simply isn't a fan of story yang apabila orang kaya nak, mesti ajak the background being berduit ya jadi plot armour gia haha. Still a feel good read at the end of the day, and surely one of my favourite manga with this kind of premise to go back to. Trigger warning might be needed, but nevertheless it's simply a comforting story related to the said issues touched in the story.
+ Then last episodes really are my favourite among the rest. Goldie subplot and the entire explanation on the time travel was beautifully executed.
++ The best spin-offs / epilogues I've ever read. Man, I love baby fics.
Again, felt a bit like Marry My Husband or Perfect Marriage Revenge when it comes to the premise. However, the characters are very different as well as the story itself.
To me, it did drag on a bit too long in the ending but I liked that everything was resolved.
YES COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY!!!
I read the webtoon version of this novel. It gave me the vibe of the Chinese web novel, Please Confess To Me, but with less sophistication and a lot more supernatural stuff.
Lee Yeonu is in a loveless marriage with Kang Seonjae. After two years when she finally divorces her cold and distant husband, he dies in an accident right in front of her. After the funeral, she goes to a hundred days back in time and decides not to divorce and protect her husband at all cost.
The ever present misunderstanding trope is evident just after two chapters. The leads took quite some time to communicate each other finally.
There were also some interesting supernatural elements. I liked the subplot of Goldie a lot. His character arc made my eyes sweat.
The character development of the ML and the FL were good but it was also kind of off-balanced.
There were so many fluffy and cute moments between the two. The romantic elements made me smile too.
At first, I didn't like Lee Yeonu much. But after her character development I liked her a lot. Kang Seonjae was totally giving the vibe of the perfect husband.
The loose ends of the plot were also solved satisfactorily by the end. The villains got what they deserved.
The artwork was also beautiful. Especially the body of Kang Seonjae🤭🤭🤭
A good bingeworthy manhwa. It was just a bit average for me, that's all, nothing mind-blowing.
it was my first full story read in korean and i understood it all so it does have a special memory to me. as for the story, i started getting frustrated when the internal dialogues went for too long instead of making them more active scenes. and around the 90 episodes i started getting annoyed of the same problems and felt like the story kinda ended already, but kept going, i knew there were gonna be kids in the ending, i had to see that. my fav part of the story is how well the main characters were communicating, okay NOT AT THE BEGINNING TRUE, but she couldn't really tell him the truth and expect him to believe it. i don't mean that they didn't hide stuff from each other for a while, but that when the time came, things were out in the open and the way they discussed things was open minded, each listened until the other finished talking to then reply with an answer while giving comfort gests in the meantime, the conversation was also always open till the end, mature and not like they would get sad mad or pitiful at any obstacle or not hearing something favorable. Ultimately, i think they started their marriage wrong they could've easily decided to open up to each other and try real dating from the start but it would defeat the whole plot. side note: i like when he used to tease her, the drawings and the fashion are also a plus🤣
It's my fault for not reading the synopsis but from reading the first chapter, I thought that this series would be about an unhappy couple navigating their marriage. Needless to say, I was way off.
Although the time travel had the potential to make for an interesting story, it is sadly used as an excuse to turn the story into a typical romance between your typical cold, dark-haired CEO male lead and a smart-yet-somehow-still-dumb female lead. All of the characters are so vapid and clichéd: Seonjae has a tragic backstory to explain his inability to express his emotions (at least he has nice parents), but he's actually really sweet and caring, blah blah, blah, and Yeon-Woo's entire personality all of a sudden inexplicably revolves around keeping Seonjae alive. I'm not even going to bother mentioning the secondary characters because they're just... ugh.
The plot isn't much better; I found myself bored most the time. HOWEVER, I will concede that the hints and plot points did connect together pretty well and the ending was actually impactful. The art looks nice (their hair is so shiny! What shampoo do they use?) but it's a bit static, in my opinion.
Overall, not bad, ifyou're looking for a quick, fluffy(ish) romance but give it a miss if you're looking for something with a bit more substance.
I read the 2023 version on Webtoons, adaptation by Bulsa. I had no idea people could revise a classic story, but I guess anything is possible. Although I didn't read this version, I have to say the new version was pretty good. I enjoyed the graphics more than anything. I basically read the first 50 episodes in a few days.
It did get a little slow and repetitive towards the end, but it wasn't drawn out too much. I will be looking forward to reading the original version if I can find an English version of it.
Overall this story could have been really shorter than it was.
But I have to say that if you're seeking for a story to just enjoy the characters and see they building a relationship from the ground, this story is for you.
Even if I'm not a huge fan of miscommunication, I really enjoyed seeing both of them trying to express themselves and understand how to move into an area of their relationship that they didn't knew.
I think that the story of the villain was really random and didn't make sense at all, but since I didn't care about her I could just skip this problem.

Webtoon English title: There must be Happy Endings. I finally finished this one. I got roped into its drama forever ago, and contemplated stopping several times. Miscommunication trope - for the majority of the story. Drama, drama, drama. I think if there is already a live action drama it would be a better use of time to just watch it instead of read it. But then again that might take the same amount of time. ;)
I like that this story is a regression story and how many times they turn back into the past, just to save and see each other. However, I find the female lead as annoying. She was described as someone who is academically bright, but after she turned back in time, she was naive and dumb. I find the main leads as annoying, as they are unable to communicate with each other that I decided to drop this story.
I started this webtoon so long ago, I cannot believe is over now. I have to admit that the last episodes felt too repetitive, especially with the whole 'did I change the future or not' anxiety from the characters and that made me drop the story for a while. Overall it was a cute story, but longer than necessary.
I think the 4 star are just for the emotions and feelings. Did this webtoon make sense? No. Did the plot and character development make sense? No. Did the time travel make sense? No. Did it make me feel emotions? Yes, plenty. I teared up. I laughed. It was good. I would love for this webtoon to be adpted into a kdrama.
3.5 stars ✨ oh my gosh the beginning drove me crazy with all that miscommunication and misunderstandings that kept growing things are wrapping up well for the mcs and im excited to see how it ends Left off ch85
Well-written and the ending was tied together with a nice bow. The art was nice and crisp and consistent. I don't remember the whole thing because I started it when it first came out in 2021 and then took a year-long break, but I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Really enjoyed this story as it unfolds in the ML & FL viewpoints. Touching and heartfelt, you can't help but root for a Happy Ending. Artwork *French kiss*
Warning: childhood abuse *revenge is justified IMHO*
Oh my word I loved this webtoon. It was a rollercoaster of emotion and I loved the depiction of how the couple went from being selfish to equal partners. Didn't see the ending coming and was one of my favorite webtoons
