They’re rich, powerful, and alpha af. And they like to share. Kade and Lawson are powerful, demanding, and they always get what they want. In the courtroom. In the office. And in the bedroom. What they want? Me. Their secretary. Even though I’m innocent and virtually untouched. Even though I work for them, and it’s absolutely against company policy. Even though there’s two of them. There’s no way I should give into their rough, rugged demands - both my bosses at once? But then again, maybe I could do with a little overtime… Double Bosses is a super-sweet, super-steamy read about your favorite kind of threesome ;) This is an MFM book so the action is all about her - no M/M! If you like bossy alphas who’ll make you melt, this book is for you!
Si andan buscando un libro con literalmente cero trama, puro acción (en serio, puro acción) este es su libro. No se como sentirme de que este sea el primer libro del año pero las escenas estuvieron bien 👀
Lawson Marshall and Kade Chandler are attorneys working together at a firm. Jenna McAlister is their new assistant. They’re both want to have sex with her and she them.
Yep, that’s the premise and pretty much the whole story.
While I appreciated the low angst factor, safety, and absence of OW/OM drama, it just didn’t work for me. There’s a reason women don’t generally swoon over porn.
So I think expectations on this one are going to be key to reader enjoyment. For me, when the blurb says “super-sweet, super-steamy” and the subtitle reads “An Office Romance” I expect a hot and sweet romance. But that’s not really what this is.
This is just an erotic tale that plays out like porn, and I’m not saying that because there’s a threesome involved. I can enjoy a well-written ménage romance, but there was nothing here to pull me in or root for these three to get together or stay together. Minimal character development, constant insta-lust monologing, and ridiculous scenarios are what the story is built on. And so I was invested as much as I’d be invested in a porno.
Told via all three of their first person POVs, the guys come across more like two horn dogs who don’t take their jobs seriously rather than smart, professional attorneys. Since there’s really no build-up, I had no clue why they were willing to risk their careers and professional reputation for a girl they barely knew. The fact that they’ve indulged in sharing women before, just made it seem like they were scratching an itch, nothing more. They exhibited a blatant disregard for professionalism and commitment to their clients and cases. I wasn’t wooed by their rebellion against company rules forbidding sexual harassment and fraternization—those policies are there for a good reason. In fact, the guys’ behavior just made them seem cocky, immature, and entitled rather than hot and sexy.
Jenna’s a virgin losing her virginity without protection to two men who are her superiors. That requires a lot of trust in two people she hardly knows. As a result, it made her seem foolish, not brazen. I couldn’t relate with her at all because the whole story is just her getting sexed up; if she had a brain or an opinion there’s no way to tell because I don’t think she uttered an intelligible thought. Aside from her body and the fact she was willing to take both of them, why did these guys even like her? The reader’s not shown any kind of relationship development outside the naked kind. Also the imbalanced sexual experience—specifically the virgin heroine—has become so overdone in the romance market. The message—that men can have prior fun but women can’t—is bothersome.
Bottom line, if you just want to read about sex, go for it! Here’s thirty chapters of three nymphos who think they are in love. But thinking about sex and constantly having sex is not the same thing as falling in love so if you need romance and to connect with the characters to find the story a turn-on, this one probably isn’t the one.

I’m a pro smut girlie, and if you are looking for PURE smut this is for you! For me, however, it just lacked enough development to root for anything between the characters that didn’t feel irresponsible or illogical on their part. I also felt like the bedroom scenes didn’t have any poetic razzle dazzle. Give me well written smut or give me death, where’s the female gaze flavor ?
*light spoiler* I also found the virginity trope thing so weird, like ur telling me this virgin woman is jumping into a relationship with both of her bosses? No 😭😭 no she’s not 😭😭 for her sake, no she’s not😀
Overall, this was an extremely fast paced palette cleanser and yay for a non traditional love interest set up. Just didn’t have enough plot to fill my cup of tea.
So I usually can't put down menage books. But this one was missing one core issue. A really good storyline. This book had more sex than anything else in it. Which okay can be okay. But there has to be a story or something in between the screwing.
The characters are good together and the chemistry is off the scales so if you enjoy more sex then conversations then this is the story for you.
I'm giving this book 4 stars but it should be 3.5 because there literally is not any character development. The whole book is pure smut and while it was sexy steamy and quite kinky which I definitely enjoyed the book has no real story line beyond that. So image my shock when the story developed into them falling in love and getting married they even ended the book with her being pregnant.

Here's the problem with books that are all about s*x. It gets boring quickly. I love smut. I love spice. I love steam. This book was a slog to get through, though, because in reading it, I could identify patterns in how the writer set up scenes or even described the characters. Her backside is like "globes", she "slurps" when she's performing certain acts, her body is "sinful", she's downright "perfect".
The MMCs were created just enough to be able to function as partners, but their personalities were only reflected in their lusts for the FMC. They weren't even given much of an appearance beyond what might be fetishized like muscular, well-endowed, blonde, all-American, etc.
Let's talk about the virgin trope. This is the second book I've read in a row with that, and I like the first one better. This book slammed it into the reader's face in the first pages to set you up for the first "love" scene. It never hindered anything except a small moment during her first intimacy with one of the bosses. I would have liked to see more build-up about it. If you're going to have the trope, don't do it in half measures; otherwise, it feels like you're pandering to a particular crowd without delivering on the promise.
MMC 2/10 FMC 3/10 Plot 1/10 D: 6/10 x 2 Would I read it again? No Would I recommend it to others? No Notable quibbles: Smirks should not become "smirkier".

Best friends Kade and Lawson work for the same law firm and have just made partner. They share a new secretary, the sweet and innocent Jenna. They’ve been known to share their women in the past, and when Jenna starts working for them, they’re both strongly attracted to her.
Jenna thinks both of her bosses are hot, but never in a million years does she think they’d ever be anything but professional towards her – but then one day, they make it clear they’re interested in her, and that they want to share her. She’s unable to resist them, and so begins a torrid, risky romance. If they get caught in the office, they’ll all be fired.
When a client worth a lot of money to the firm demands Kade and Lawson go to London to help with their case, they’re annoyed because it means they’ll be away from Jenna – until they’re told she’s to go with them to take notes for the legal firm. So they put their plan of claiming Jenna as their own into action, and it begins on the plane in the first class cabin.
This book is full of hot sex scenes and the attention is all on Jenna, so if you love well-written ménage, you’re going to love this book. Don’t miss it!
Parker Grey is brand spanking new to me but I'm loving what I got in this sweet, sexy, and scandalous book that got my blood flowing and my heart pumping. Double Bosses was a fun, fast, unputdownable read... a little intense and a whole lot of steamy in a lot of ways. Once I started, I could not stop until it was long over.
She's their secretary and they shouldn't cross that line...ever, especially since its again all the rules. Yet she's a temptation she just can't resist. They do everything together, including relationships. But she's different...a game changer and they'll do anything to get her and keep her. It might be wrong but sometimes you just have to break the rules.
Y'all this book was hot! A hell of a lot of hotness in a smaller package. You'll swoon. You'll smile. You'll fall head over in heels in love quickly. Lower on the drama. Safe. This is one that you don't want to miss out on.
I'm glad I took a chance on this book and this author. And you better believe I'll be checking out the backlist...soon.
What do you do after you read a seven-book series that becomes your all time favorite series? What do you do after your heart is completely shattered in emotional bliss? How do you recover from this? Well, you shift. You decide to wash our your brain with, what's that phrase? Oh yeah -- the smut is the plot. Well hello @ParkerGrey, I see you. This to me is very similar to @MollyEden books, especially because these are poly relationships. I got this e/book for free on Stuff Your Kindle day, and felt that now was the perfect time for this. It’s a short quick read that is full of spice, in all sorts of different ways. In the blink of an eye, Jenna goes from a virgin to MFM with her two bosses, Kade and Lawson who are best friends that love to share. For me, I personally get nervous with office romances because that element of getting caught gives me the wrong kind of nervous energy. I know some people love that troupe, so if you do, this one is definitely for you. This was an easy, done in one evening, kind of read if you are looking for a spicy little interlude.
3.75* This book surprised me! I have read a few spicy books now and look forward to the spicy scenes happening a few times throughout the book amidst the plot but THIS ONE! This one is all spice, minimal plot. You literally can't read for 10 pages without spice. While I am a big fan of that, I use my kindle book as a portable option when I'm out and about and this one was NOT suitable for casual reading while waiting in a queue so I have not read it as quickly or as frequently as I might have 😂
The story was fairly straightforward and predictable based on the cover and title. I did enjoy the appreciation for all parties, the multiple perspectives to show mutual enjoyment and safety for each person and the lack of jealousy.
Is this going to be one of my top reads of the year? No. Is it sexy, fun, a bit silly and an enjoyable read? Absolutely.

A steamy read between 2 lawyers, Kade and Lawson and their assistant, Jenna. The two men share their women and both have their eye on Jenna, but the no fraternization rule where they work has them hesitating in making any moves. When they all go away on a trip, all bets are off and the three start their ménage. Unfortunately when they get back they have to table their desires at work so no one finds out...what happens when they get caught? A great steamy read and I loved the two, Kade and Lawson. Kade the serious, always gruff man and Lawson, the easy going, flirty man, together they even each other out. Then there’s Jenna, a sweet innocent woman until they get a hold of her. I liked the flow of the read, the no over the top drama, no miscommunications or misunderstandings, no jealousies or anyone trying to break them up and what I LOVED the most...Kade and Lawson were not man wh***. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

*ARC* Double Bosses was a quick and sexy read. If you are in the mood for a ménage romance, then this is one you will want on your TBR lists. I love a book about two dirty alpha males wanting their woman, and that is exactly what we get in this one.
Who really wants to listen to the little no fraternization policy at work when your two bosses are sexy as sin and want you. Alpha males are exactly what Kade and Lawson are and they have their eyes on their assistant, Jenna, who wants them as well. Knowing if they get caught it could cost them all of their jobs but for these three it adds to the intensity of the sexual interactions between them.
While this didn’t blow me out of the park, it was spicy and sexy and a good hot book to read on a cold winter day, you will get heated if you know what I mean!
I had high hopes for this book from the first few pages, the FMC was funny and relatable right out of the gate and I was loving the writing style. As someone who typically only enjoys Romantasy, as real world smut books never keep my attention, I thought to myself: "Finally! A spicy book that is actually well written, I think I may love reading this!". I thoroughly enjoyed the first chapter from the FMC POV but unfortunately that's when the writing style seems to plummet a bit.
I didn't mind the multiple POVs but both the MMCs fell a little flat and if the POVs didn't rotate in the same order every time, I probably wouldn't have been able to tell them apart. This book read a lot like a porno and the virginity trope was so overdone, focusing waaaaaay to much on that particular topic for my liking.
But if you like a fast paced, spicy, why choose trope with risky situations- this will be right up your alley (no pun intended).
Disclaimer: I got this book for free on Kindle. I participated in stuff your kindle day where I got a bunch of romance books for free, roughly 2,000 books. I normally do not read romance books but I wanted to try the genre. I typically read fantasy, science fiction, biographies, and classics so this is way out of my comfort zone. My plan is to draw a book at random without reading the summary, title, and avoiding looking at the cover. As long as the book is not too graphic for me or leads into something uncomfortable, I will be attempting to finish as many of these books as I can in 2024. I understand that many of these books will likely not be top tier but I am hoping that I can learn something about the romance genre as a whole and figure out if any types of books in this genre are for me.
My Review: No. I did not like this book. No I can't say anything about it other than the title gives it away. No.
Double Bosses was a good read. The author's writing was really good and her details are appreciated.
I enjoyed reading the story of Jenna, Lawson, and Kade. Jenna is a strong female lead. Lawson and Kade are powerful and strong male leads.
It seems that when I read menage books I end up unconsciously picking one male over the other. Kade was my pick from this book. He and Lawson are sweet guys when it comes to Jenna but powerful and intimidating with other minor characters. Each guy has his own personality that completes the three of them.
There is a LOT of sex in this book. There is a good story too.
Overall I'm glad I read this book cause it was a sweet story with lots of hot sex.
Kade and Lawson want to share Jenna. They want this, despite how she’s an assistant in the firm they work for, & despite how it’s just not allowed at work. Jenna likes them both, & when they end up on a work trip in London, it’s hard for them to avoid their feelings for one another.
I didn’t like the fact that they kept going on & on about how she’d never been with anyone else before. It’s as if this added to her value somehow, but that’s also, sadly, how society sees this.
There was also no talk about any contraception....
Also, when they were caught, the guys seemed to blame Jenna (saying it was her fault that she was irresistible, until she said she was sorry).
Still, this a nice story to read. I did like the characters & the way the plot developed.
They’re rich, powerful, and alpha af. And they like to share Double Bosses is a super-sweet, super-steamy read about your favorite kind of threesome ;) This is an MFM book so the action is all about her - no M/M! If you like bossy alphas who’ll make you melt, this book is for you!
So I think expectations on this one are going to be key to reader enjoyment. For me, when the blurb says “super-sweet, super-steamy” and the subtitle reads “An Office Romance” I expect a hot and sweet romance. But that’s not really what this is. But if you like a fast paced, spicy, why choose trope with risky situations
As much as I love a dirty, spicy, enthralling sex life, I also like my books to have some kind of story line. Unfortunately, this didn’t have that.
While the spice was… off the charts… it lacked anything else to connect with. These 2 brute men consumed a woman and fell in love without learning a single thing about her. They never took her out, never asked any kind of questions about her.
We know Kade and Lawson are best friends, but what about Jenna? What was her life like? Why’d she take this job? What are her career goals? What did she take in school? Does she have any friends? You get a glimpse that she has a family near the end of the book.
Just so many unanswered questions that could’ve made the story so much better. And so. Much. Sex.
2 men are definitely better than one but what do you do when you have a slight crush on your new bosses but taking it further could cost you and them your job? Give up? Not take it further? Or do you follow it through and get some of the most intense pleasures and feeling you have ever had? Well for Jenna she took the getting to know you to a whole new level with Kade and Parker Pershing her. Things don't go well when the boss of the law firm finds out and demands thing go back to normal but the men take a chance and start their own firm. Will the three way work out? Can they have a HEA? A great steamy read.
Lawson and Kade knew they wanted Jenna from the moment she walked into the office. Super shy, but beautiful nonetheless Jenna felt the mutal attraction, but it was forbidden their her bosses for Pete sake and their was absolutely nothing she could do about it, but Lawson and Kade have no problem taking advantage of a situation and advantage they sure took. They saw an opening to strike and they went for it and it worked out pretty well for them considering they had an insatiable desire that they couldn’t fight.
Great fast paced office romance that won’t leave you hanging. Disclaimer I received an arc copy for an honest and voluntary review.
