DOCTOR APHRA — WORST AMONG EQUALS! On the run from the law in an alien city, DOCTOR APHRA can’t stray more than a few paces from her companion without both of them blowing up. Time to cooperate, right? Except, unfortunately, her companion is Triple-Zero, a sadistic murderdroid who’s more interested in her death than playing nice. A brand-new misadventure for the galaxy’s foremost amoral archaeologist starts here!
The new story arc kick-off for Worst Among Equals was damn good!
"I really liked it." - 4 out of 5 star rating.
Triple-Zero continues to be nightmare fuel and delivered in such a dark, fun, and entertaining way. Doctor Aphra is pretty standard as expected, but what makes this new arc so much fun is a very interesting twist that has been introduced by a mad scientist. Again, amazing way to start off this new arc. Very well done.
I also do greatly appreciate that this entire 40+ comic book series for Doctor Aphra so far, has continued down the same vein.
The story has flowed and no really obscure/random/overwhelmingly out of nowhere abstract entry has been injected into the series. Everything connects and this is very commendable and should be highlighted.
Also equally impressive as well, with so many author swaps that have taken place throughout the series.
I have high hopes for this Worst Among Equals arc! This feels like it is going to be a good one!
This was a great issue. Ponda Baba is back with Dr. Evazan, and it's kinda funny having them basically sitting on the couch watching Aphra and Triple Zero's adventures through the droid's eyes as if it's a TV show. The comparisons between Aphra and Triple Zero are also thought-provoking. I do wonder whether Triple Zero is telling the truth when he says he doesn't care about Beetee.
