I know when picking up a Lani book, I'll laugh, cry, swoon, get angry and laugh again. Everything I want in a good entertaining story I get with very book. I love all the intertwining stories, and characters that pop up from past books. If you've read other Lani books you'll know to one click this too. Zee and Jubilee don't disappoint at all. Their constant bickering is so funny and you're just waiting with anticipation for the lust to take over. It's well worth the wait.💘

Zee and Jubilee’s story was one of my favorite LLV reads. The plot absolutely sucked me in. I found myself intrigued by the different personalities and how they complimented one another even as they manifested their contrast. I liked that the dynamics were unique and that it felt like something different from what I’ve read in the past.

Individually I loved Zee’s protectiveness and care. He was serious and strong but he had a softer side that Jubilee brought forth though he wasn’t seeing it. Jubilee was a great heroine. She was feisty and so secure in her identity. I love that. Their chemistry was utterly explosive 🧨.

The plot caused my imagination muscle to stretch a bit more than it’s used to but I still found myself quite entertained despite that. The writing was true to a very specific “voice” that LLV has that, though informal, just makes sense with her stories. The pacing was great. The imagery on point. The supporting characters were used very well.

Can’t wait for the next!!

Zee and Jubliee's book.
Overall it was a good read that was trademark LLV.
The only thing that irked me was the heroine, hence the 4 stars. She was in her early thirties, but acted like a young twentysomething .
Loved the epilogue!

I cannot get past the « his twin brother was dating her and he was dating her twin sister, then they died and a lot of years later the remaining characters got together » thing, that is just too farfetched for me...
There is also a bunch of suspense side story going on but I could not be bothered.

Oh and it has the « over 30and still a virgin » thing going on, while the H did not stay a virgin. If it helps some of the other readers I don’t think he had slept with her twin sister.

There is a thin line between love and hate and It Happens proves how very thin it is! With a plot packed full of bickering, attraction, laughs and emotions, It Happens is a must read! If you still haven't tried a book by Lani Lynn Vale, I strongly recommend It Happens.  This book can be read as a stand alone.

Zee and Jubilee's story is my favorite Lani Lynn Vale to date!  When you pick up It Happens, be prepared to read it all at one time, you will not be able to put it down.  This story truly grabs you at the first page and won't let you go until the last word.  Be prepared to have your heart ripped out, to laugh out loud and to need a fan and ice cold water from the intensity of Zee and Jubilee's chemistry.

If you have not taken my recommendation about a LLV book yet, please take a chance on It Happens, you won't be disappointed!

The banter, the sexual chemistry, the hate. Ooh the hate. This book had it all in spades. The animosity was palpable, spanning over decades yet these characters were fiercely protective over each other. There’s a thin line between love and hate and our MCs push at that boundary.

Jubilee and Zee did not get along from the first time they had the pleasure of meeting at the tender age of 6 to Zee’s 9. There families were friends which made them constantly be around each other which later developed to them dating each other’s siblings but tragedy struck leaving them a bit fractured and fueling the flames of hatred between them. Their siblings died and they blamed each other. Fast forward 16 years and the hate is still as potent as ever but so is the attraction and awareness they feel whenever they are together.

I loved the way they always looked out for each other though they never stopped trading quips. This book was a quick read that did not have unnecessary drama that dragged on. I read it in one sitting because it was enthralling and the heroine did not act like a doe eyed mistress. She was outspoken and fierce and did not back down when it came to Zee. I was just confused as to how many jobs Zee actually had and where he got the time to do all of them.

I was hesitant to read this story because I was afraid that both of them still pinned for their dead high school sweethearts. However, this plot forcused more on enemies to lovers. It's great to read how they argued with each other all the time but couldn't resist the attraction.

I'd like to read the detail of their first night together. Unfortunately, all we got were only pieces.

Great epilogue.

Let's start off by saying we are a a fan of this author's books and we are always looking forward to read the next book that is out in their current series and I have to say that this was one of the funniest books yet to date.

We really enjoyed the story as it really had a great cast of characters, was funny although the plot itself did not have a lot going on in it but, it did surround a couple who have always had a love/hate relationship since been teenagers and a family tragedy that both of them were never able to move past. One drunken night and things changed forever....

The story was about forgiveness and healing but, it also made this couple realize that in truth they were the perfect mix for one another.

The story had many funny moments because the couple never stopped bickering with one another and were playing for a long time a cat and mouse game even if the weren't ready to admit the chemistry and the attraction they had for one another."We loved their so called courtship."Jubilee took matter's into her own hands and I have to say their first non bed sexual encounter was down right hilarious!

Jubilee-I loved her as she had a bubbly personality, was smart, sexy, had a mouth on her, cursed like a sailor, was very independent, cautious and prickly as a pear but, oh so love-able.

A favorite quote from Jubilee-" I couldn’t tell her that I’d had sex with the one man I’d never thought I’d have sex with the night before that had a dick like a donkey."

Life is like a dick. Sometimes it’s up. Sometimes it’s down. Also, it won’t be hard forever. -Text from Jubilee to Turner

You’re not allowed to play the lottery. You hit the jackpot when you found me. -Jubilee’s secret thoughts

Beards make me hungry…and horny. -Text from Jubilee to Zee

Zee- We loved him from the start he was sexy as sin, protective, possessive, funny, talented when it came to his art but, what we loved most about him was that no matter his love/hate relationship thing he had going on with Jubilee he always had her back and was very protective of her even if it was from a distant.

Sex in a deer stand isn’t advisable. -Things Zee never thought he’d have to say

Jubilee and Zee made an awesome couple she was more of the mellow type and he more structured when it came to life and eating but, Jubilee loved to indulge in the sinful like waffle and hamburgers LOL.

The couple were super hot together had great chemistry and had so much fun in and out of bed.

"We loved it! It was the perfect romance read for us that was light and fun even though the story had a serious undertone but, after reading a really Dark Romance Read previously to this current story it was the perfect book to lighten things up as they say and give us some major laughs while doing it.

We recommend this current story if your looking for a not so perfect romance that was quite funny from beginning to end.

OMG! It Happens is THE BEST Lani Lynn Vale book I have ever read. I am completely blown away and so in love. It was full of snark, sex appeal and was absolutely phenomenal. I FLOVE Zee and Jubilee and their story. If you love enemies to lovers, banter for days and an amazing story, you haven't seen anything until you read this. It was absolutely brilliant!

Jubilee Cope and Ezekiel "Zee" McGrew have always had an acrimonious relationship. Sworn enemies since childhood, there is something about one another that makes the other crazy. But despite this, they have always had a connection that can not be denied. And when the lines get blurred and feelings develop, neither of them are prepared for the combustible fireworks between them!

GAH!! This story was just so damn addicting. I was consumed with Zee and Jubilee's spirited banter and fiery chemistry. Vale's masterful storytelling was evident in how she was able to perfectly encapsulate how Jubilee and Zee's relationship changed and matured over time, and yet some things stayed the same. They remained steadfast and loyal to one another in spite of the animosity between them. It was almost like they had a deep-seated connection that was imprinted on each other through childhood and tragedy, alike. I particularly loved how they finally could neither run from nor deny their feelings for one another and one day when that flip was switched, they gave in to the inevitability that was "Jubilee and Zee". I truly loved them and their story and can not wait for more! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

Why I continue to read her books:
1. Hot alpha males that I sometimes wish were real
2. Somewhat good plot lines
3. Heroines who have no filter and are funny
4. I’ve come this far through so many spinoffs, I havent reached my threshold yet.
5. You don’t have to wait FOREVERRRR to get a new book from her.

Just wanted to put that out there.

I liked this one(like i usually do) and that she made an effort to divulge their past to us so we knew why they hated each other.

That being said, idk wtf that plot twist was about! Did not see that coming nor did it really make sense...but watevs.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH INKSLINGER PR. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

What I like about these books is that they're easy and entertaining reads without relying on what had come previously in the series. This book was a slight contradiction to that, in so much as I could tell that it was relying on some of the Dixie Wardens stories that had come previously to this series. That being said, I really enjoyed this read!

Zee and Jubiliee were not a typical couple, and I actually really loved that from them! I loved how they sniped at one another, even though they were falling in love for one another. They made me laugh so much with it, something I was in desperate need of! I also loved how they protected one another, and looked out for each other despite their pasts and their supposed hatred.

This book had a real suspense angle to it, and that I really loved! It elevated the story for me, really made things more interesting and engaging for me! The "villain" was someone I never would have guessed!

All things considered, this was a wonderful installment in this series!

I mean with a blurb like that it had my mind going a hundred miles a minute thinking about what was going to happen here.

Two sets of twins. Childhood sweethearts. A tragic moment that changed their lives irrevocably.

Fast forward a few years and at least one thing never changed between Jubilee and Ezekiel and that is their need to goad the ever loving shit out of one another. Since the moment they met it had always been fire meet gasoline. After that tragic day the words became harsher with the intention to hurt. It sucks to have a constant reminder of what's lost and for both of them that is exactly what they were.

I loved Jubilee hard. Her being uniquely herself was everything I live for. She's her own person living her life how she wants and I'm all about that life. My heart went out to her though because behind that fiesty give no fucks attitude was a women who has endured some real shit shit. Who shouldered blame that wasn't hers to take and lived with the guilt for so long it burnt deep.

Zee I love despite his grumpy. What you see is definitely NOT what you get because he keeps so much hidden under the surface. He much like Jubilee is angry at the past and filled with misplaced guilt. He just can't seem to stop running his mouth which is what lands him in trouble. I appreciate the brutal honesty even if at time is appears insensitive. Don't let his size fool you the man has a sweet so good it will give you a toothache.

These pair are so god damn alike it hurts. They clash like hell and fight the attraction, quite frankly they sabotage themselves from happiness. But and despite their constant bickering and bitching at eachother they have this slow boiling chemistry that feeds the fire.. it's explosive. I loved how their story unfolds! Unique to them their journey is different and their path is most definitely a rocky one but holy cow is it worth it. It's heart breaking and at times ugly. Filled with bitter grudges and sweet redemption but not the kind you may think. A story of growth! Lani peels back the layers allowing us to delve deep into all these crazy emotions making us FEEL it all.

Its seemlessly written filled to the brim with all kinds of crazy. Hilariously shenanigans and heartbreaking realities, sweet sweet moments and sinfully delicious goodness is just a little of what you can't find here. The side characters as always are such a special part of Lani's books. The chemistry between them all is like nothing else! You can feel the connection between them all and you can't help but fall in love with them. All of it seriously it just fits perfectly and I can't even with the greatness.

Also those sneaky name drops about characters and their future possibilities! Lani is a fucking tease mun. Would it be to much to have a book a week instead of monthly? I don't think that's an unreasonable request...

5 SMOOCHES!

It Happens is the sixth book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series by Lani Lynn Vale, a series that has landed on my all-time favorites list. While this series is rooted in another series, or two actually, it is not a spin-off of the Heroes of the Dixie Wardens or the Freebirds series. It does, however, expand on them. Favorite characters from those series either appear in these stories or Vale introduces new heroes and heroines who are the offspring of those characters. What makes Lani’s work so unique is how with each new book she releases, she builds upon those original worlds, developing further not just the next generation of characters, but also the original characters as well. For her readers, this is an unparalleled reading experience that plays out almost like the literary equivalent of a long-running television drama series. Remarkably, though, Vale has somehow managed to write her stories in such a way that a new reader can pick a book up at any point and easily slide right into her inter-connected world from that point on.

It Happens delivered a solid punch of feels with an enemies-to-lovers romance between a hero and heroine who had a long, painful history. Vale did a great job of capturing the animosity, the history and the chemistry between Zee and Jubilee on the page and channeling that emotion into a hard-fought, heart-tugging and sexy romance between a couple that readers will be rooting for from the first page. Vale clearly has a vivid imagination, and it’s on full display here. She built an intriguing suspense plot into the love story that kept me as invested as the romance did. Lani effortlessly blends love with laughter in all of her books, and there was plenty of both in this book. Always entertaining and amusing, Vale’s writing pulls me right in and keeps me riveted to the page the whole way through. Another winner in a series full of them, I finished this book already wanting the next one. Five smooches from me for It Happens by Lani Lynn Vale!

3.5 ‘Struck by Lightning’ Stars

Well, Zee and Jubillee’s love story was quite a tumultuous and never boring journey!!! And surprising in so many ways, that I did not see coming, at ALL!

Zee has been one very intriguing – much like a lot of his MC brothers – character, that I’ve been dying to uncover, but I did not expect all this background and his already existing – or should I say prickly, lol – connection with Jubillee, his childhood ‘friend’/nemesis.

If I may say myself, I’m a huge sucker for a good banter and back and forth, and these two really gave us that at the start, and I could totally see that spiraling to something more, specially after an weakened resistance state, lmao. I wish we could have witness that ‘moment’ first hand, instead of after the fact, but that’s just my greedy self talking. What I did not in any way expect, and was put off, to be honest was that after so many years of knowing each other, and witnessing each others life, or better yet, Jubillee seeing first hand all the life and experience that Zee, did indeed have – all the status possible, and all big life marks, relationship and so, he indeed had them all in the past – and specially given they were in no way hung up on each other, I was so very disappointed and to be honest, shocked that she was still a virgin at her age, and with no meaningful or truly justifiable reason for being so, and enhanced and pointed out so many times, I just couldn’t let go. Yeah, it’s one of MY personal pet peeves, so I’m sure most won’t be bothered by it, but had she been half as experienced, relationship and sexually wise, as Zee was I would have sure thrilled and even more overjoyed for this two and that they finally got the HEA that they absolutely deserved after the tragedy of their past.

That being said, as all of Ms. Vale’s story, I soaked this one up from start to finish, and swooned and cheered Zee and Jubillee on how their relationship evolved and how they embraced it. Ans specially how they still kept that little bit of bickering that made them THEM!

The funny and suspenseful moments were exciting and as addictive as usual, and seeing Castiel and Turner’s interactions, and Liner’s hints on his mystery – not no much so for us LLV fans, lol – woman, have be counting down the days for next month for my Lani Lynn Vale fix and a brand new Bear Bottom Guardians MC. If you haven’t started this series yet, you truly are missing out on a MUST read! <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh my goddnes I have fallen in love with this book and it will always rate up there as one of my favorite Lani Lynn Vale book. Zee and Jubilee have quiet the story to tell. This book will have you reading like mad from the very first page. These two have some very snarky interaction and some really hilarious moments. I know that doesn't seem possible when you read the description of this book and know that two people died but it is not depressing and if you love enemies to lovers book then this is one that your not going to miss. As is the style of Lani Lynn Vale's books there is plenty of suspense which sometimes I figure out but most times I don't. This one is one of those I feel like no one is going to figure out. Just go now and get this book. It is one of Lani Lynn Vale's best books to date and you do not want to miss it.

A fun filled blast of a story, that has a heart rendering storyline, suspense, a little mystery, one really hot guy and a sassy hot gal to put him in his place and you have as whole lot of excellent reading.
Zee and Jubilee have history, and it’s not the kind you can just forget. Unfortunately they butt heads quite often, they snap and growl, bicker and grunt at each other, also seen tragedy and lost loved ones. And although they dislike each and their differences seem huge, Zee and Jubilee always have each other’s back.
Then one day everything changes, what if they? why don’t we find out? But things aren’t as simple as they expected.

Jubilee was a terrific character, sassy and feisty, but Zee knew how to handle her and could put her exactly where she needed to be - Jubilee I suspect, secretly let him.
Tension and crazy bantering just jumped of the page as the chemistry between them is ignored but is blatantly obvious to everyone else.
An enjoyable read that made me grin, laugh, giggle, smirk and cry. I loved it!

Reviewed on Behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
Another treat from Lani Lynn Vale in the bear bottom MC Series. This is an unusual story in some ways. Jubilee and Zee grew up together as their parents are best friends. Jubilee and Zee really clash and have all their lives. When they are a little older after being hit by lightening and their siblings are killed in the same strike leaving a whole they both still feel in their life.
Still avoiding each other, but both secretly looking out for each other. All is well until one of Zee’s ex enters the bar and being drunk Jubilee kisses Zee and the next morning they wake up in bed together. That is the start of another amazing relationship which LLV writes so well. One warning this book is HOT, as the sparks flying with this couple singed my hands as I was reading. I am really enjoying this series, which is fast becoming one of favourites. So that’s all I am writing about. The story is told in dual povs, and can be read as standalone.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Mess Me Up (Bear Bottom Guardians MC, #1)
Talkin' Trash (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #2)
How About No (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #3)
My Bad (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #4)
One Chance, Fancy (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #5)

This is Jubilee and Zee’s story. Jubilee and Zee had plans but not with each other. They both dated and were planning to marry the other’s sibling. When the siblings died in a freak accident there was guilt and blame to go around. He has always blamed her and treats her as such. He never has a nice word for her and ever word he hurls at her she feels the pain and cut of it. When they need each other it’s weird and uncomfortable and they have a lot off issues to work through. The feelings are flying passion and love and hate. Can they work though the past and present in order to move forward? Or do they just need to stay away from each other?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. As with any book or series you pick up you get a glimpse of another set of characters in another series. All of the books tie into each other with the characters overlapping. Makes you want to go back and re-read the series over and over.

I highly recommend this book or really let’s be honest any book this author has written.

‘There’s a thin line between love and hate.’

I don’t think I’ve ever read about two characters’ relationship that embodies this saying more than Ezekiel (Zee) McGrew and Jubilee Cope in Lani Lynn Vale’s It Happens. The fact that these two have known each other since they were young and have had to endure each other’s childish antics, sharp tongue, and jerkish behavior since their initial introduction would drive anyone over the edge, but these two also have to contend with a past that they blame each other for and that grudge has translated into 16 years of verbal sparring and harsh criticisms, making everyone around these two question why Zee and Jubilee can’t let it go and focus on what’s right in front of them - each other.
In the blurb, Vale describes her hero and heroine as hellfire and holy water, but the thing is…it’s unclear who is described by each word because, in my opinion, Zee and Jubilee both have their moments of devilish and demure demeanor and the fact that despite their mutual animosity, they have their moments of helpfulness and having each other’s back, which lends credibility to the idea that their feud tempers their mutual attraction and the underlying sexual tension simmering between them.

Vale brilliantly writes the constant bickering back and forth between Zee and Jubilee, and it’s in those moments that readers can truly feel the chemistry between them just waiting to explode. It’s clear that there’s always been a connection between them…there’s always been a desire, even if neither every spoke those words out loud. But they’ve been so wrapped up in their disdain for each other, playing the blame game and attempting to one up the other’s antics at every turn, that they’ve never taken a moment to realize exactly why they love riling each other up, pushing buttons and causing an exchange of heated words and glances.

When Zee and Jubilee finally give into their desires, their encounter is definitely not romantic, but I feel like it’s the way it needed to be in order to uncap their want and need for one another and while they’re both waiting for the anticipated fallout to occur, the direction they take together, especially due to a set of circumstances that requires Zee’s attention, only reinforces the fact that Zee’s father might have gotten it right all those years ago when he said that Annmarie was not Zee’s true match…it was Jubilee.

I can’t get enough of Lani Lynn Vale’s stories and characters - each one pulls me in and keeps my attention until everything plays out between the hero and heroine and those unwanted secondary characters who are hellbent on torturing the main characters for a variety of reasons.

Holy Moly! I finished this next book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC series in one sitting – in fact, I couldn’t let go of my e – reader till I completed the book!  And I FLOVED it – not only are Zee and Jubilee perfect for each other; their insane chemistry and their interactions had me smiling like a loon throughout the book.

Jubilee and Zee met as children and immediately get on each other’s nerves –
they had a hostile relationship from the start; and even though they start dating each other’s twins – throughout they just can’t stop from needling each other – it’s like air they both need to survive.

Jubilee is a mortician (such a different occupation, cemented my adoration for her!) while Ezekiel “Zee” has his toes in several different pies; yet excels in all of those areas – they both lost two people closest to them; their twins – and that one night also cemented their connection with each other.

It is on the anniversary of one of those nights that finally opens the door to their underlying feelings – I absolutely adored their banter, their interactions and how they never let the animosity between them to affect their loyalty to each other. Even through the jokes, the fights and what they think of as hatred for each other.

I also cherished how wonderfully the author captured the way Zee and Jubilee grew and matured over the years, before and after they came together – yet the foundation of who they actually were with each other remained the essence of their relationship.

Another fan – freaking – tastic addition to a series that I already adore!

I wasn't wowed by this book, but it was still pretty good. The whole plot is a little (okay, a lot) far-fetched. From the way their twins died to the plot twist in the end, it was all just out there.

Zee & Jubilee have basically been 'enemies' since they were young kids. They've always been at each other's throats and never really have anything nice to say about the other even as adults. When they were teens, Zee was dating Jubilee's twin sister, Annmarie, who was pretty much the exact opposite of Jubilee. Jubilee was dating Zee's twin brother Eitan. One tragic night, Eitan and Annmarie were killed and Jubilee & Zee were left to cope with the loss of their twins. Zee blames Jubilee for their deaths, even though it was really a tragic accident. He doesn't rub that in her face, but it's never far from the back of his mind and Jubilee also blames herself for why they were in a position to be killed.

I've read a lot of enemies to lovers books and usually there is an undercurrent where it's obvious they don't really hate each other. In this book though, it honestly felt like Zee hated Jubilee and vice versa. It's not until a trip out of town where they're forced to spend time together that they start to really show that they not only tolerate one another, but could in fact have a relationship. Their parents have always thought they belonged together, so apparently Zee & Jubilee were the only ones in denial.

I loved how Zee was protective of Jubilee, even when they 'hated' each other. He was just a really good guy. And Jubilee, well she was an interesting character. She owned a funeral home - that's not something you'd normally expect from a female, but apparently she was really good at her job and didn't mind being around dead people all the time (the women in the family all did the same thing).

As I said before, the whole plot twist at the end is pretty crazy and freaky. It's really sad what happens to all the innocent people and it's not like Jubilee needed even more guilt added to her conscious.

The epilogue was cute and the kids were adorable, as always. It seems as though Zee & Jubilee are still going strong and are just as in love as ever before.

Each time I read one of LLV's Bear Bottom Guardian books I say this ones my favourite then that gets surpassed by the next one, just goes to show that she raises her game with this series with each book.

Having met Zee in the other book in the series, again he was a character that intrigued me (well to be honest they all do :-)) and his story really pulled at my heartstrings but yet made me laugh.

Zee and Jubilee grew up together but they never got on. They fought constantly and did whatever they could to wind the other up. What made it harder was that their relationships were intertwined as Jubilee was with Zee's twin brother Eitan and her twin sister AnnMarie was with Zee. Tragedy strikes and Eitan and AnnMarie died leaving a lot of heartbreak and pain in their wake.

Even though they carried on hating each other they still had this need to look out for the other person. Its a thin line between love and hate, the more they resist the more the chemistry between them becomes ready to explode.

I loved reading this in dual POV as it was great to see how they were both feeling and thinking at certain points.

LLV did an amazing job with this book. She poured everything into it so that you felt it all as you read. The banter, the hate mixed with the sexual chemistry was so hot. Once you start this book, like me you will be unable to put it down.

I am super excited to see what Lani brings us next with Keep It Classy and Castiel and Turner's story <3

First off. I love all of Lanis books... But for somereason the blurb just made me not go all gaa over wanting to read it since I am not a huge fan of these kind of story lines.. Still one clicked it. As I do all her books.. And WOW! loved it

Jubilee and Ezekiel (Zee)

Jubilee is awesome! There is no other way to say it. She is kick as in her own way. Takes no bs! As an awesome friend. Tho her job is a lille freaky. She is small next to Zee and most say the white as freak skin and black hair. Loved it.! She is a very strong charactor and prob one of my fav.

Zee is an assholes do not think there is another way to say it. He is hooootttt damm... But a health freak as well it seems.

Them together... WOW.. talk about interesting.. fighting... sexynes.. and fights. But somehow fit so perfect. I loved this book.. every dam sweet word.. Even tho there back stories is sad and heartbreaking. The twist I had already gueesed but it took nothing away from the book at all... loved it

I can’t find it in my heart to give Lani Lynn’s books any less than 5 stars! Her books are like coming home to me. Even when I’m in a book hangover from another book previously read and my head is all over the place, I read her books and just feel good! She is probably one of my most favorite authors on the planet and I love how she writes and what she writes every single time!
Zee and Jubilee really had no choice in their destiny. They were raised together. As kids they had dated each other’s siblings and when tragedy struck it caused a hurt and heartache in both of them that came out as hate. What they didn’t know was that hate was what fueled their love for one another.
The banter back and forth made me laugh so much and Lanis comedic relief is so refreshing. This is a book of enemies to lovers and it was fabulous!
I love the way she writes and the story that she tells. It just makes you feel good. This was such a sweet story and I don’t know that i will ever tire of reading everything she writes!!!

I am totally enjoying this whole series. This one is no exception. Zee and Jubilee are frenemies at best. They have a tragic history and have continued to be tortured by being in the same room much less talking to each other. Somehow, as adults, they have continued to live near each other. Zee watches over Jubilee and she knows that he will do anything to help her if asked.

I love when that ah ha moment comes where they realize perhaps they were meant to be all along. A road trip and some come to Jesus moments seal the deal with these two. Some crazy suspense in this one as well.

Zee is part of the MC but the book does not center on the MC at all. Still a great romance. Great series over all. I always am ready to read the next book.

I have to say that with each book Lani brings it to the table and I love each one as they come. I can't get enough and this one had me laughing and yelling at my kindle because these two were so funny. They hated each other and for no rerason at all but they fought like hell and they argued and they just straight out hated each other but as time went on Jubilee and Zee started to see things differently.

They realized they both lost someone they loved and it ripped their heart out and they were broken but when they came together they always fought but for what reason. Once they stopped fighting and let their true feelings come out things started to change for them and they realized that they didn't hate each other that they really cared for one another.

This story is absolutely AMAZING and I couldn't get enough. This is a must read series that will have you on your seat wondering what is going to happen next. Will it be love or will it be hate?

With how this one started out I didn't expect to like it, the fighting/sniping between Jubilee and Zee got old fast. But once they crossed a line I liked how things changed for them. They pretty much acknowledged they were in a relationship and ok with it. Their shared, very long history, helped them understand each other and not get jealous of the past. I could have done with out the drama at Jubliee's house, that seemed so odd and out of left field. Wished there could have been more with both sets of parents happy these two were together.
