Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.
The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) (commonly referred to as Disney) is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in the world in terms of revenue. Founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt Disney and Roy Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, the company was reincorporated as Walt Disney Productions in 1929. Walt Disney Productions established itself as a leader in the American animation industry before diversifying into live-action film production, television, and travel. Taking on its current name in 1986, The Walt Disney Company expanded its existing operations and also started divisions focused upon theatre, radio, publishing, and online media. In addition, it has created new divisions of the company in order to market more mature content than it typically associates with its flagship family-oriented brands.
The company is best known for the products of its film studio, the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group, today one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, and ABC Family; publishing, merchandising, and theatre divisions; and owns and licenses 11 theme parks around the world. On January 23, 2006, it was announced that Disney would purchase Pixar in an all-stock transaction worth $7.4 billion. The deal was finalized on May 5. On December 31, 2009, Disney Company acquired the Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4.24 billion. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.
Ever since I saw the first telefilm in the series, Disney's Descendants has been a favorite of mine. Not only does it involve many of the old-school Mouse House characters I grew up seeing onscreen, but it also stars Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson, two stars whose other shows and movies I've enjoyed. Over the past few years, I've gotten my hands on tie-in media ranging from comics to prose novels to even calendars; in fact, the latest edition of the latter is currently hanging on my wall.
When I saw this at a local garage sale, I knew I had to get it; so, I just finished it, and I had a lot of fun with it. Fans of the franchise know what to expect, and that's what they'll get here. Now, I just wonder when or even if we'll get a fourth installment.
In this book Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay find themselves trying to protect the Isle and Auradon as Hades tries to cause trouble for them while Audrey is outraged as Mal gets proposed to by Ben when it should be been her triggering her to go bad, but will Ben take her back?
The gang is back and I loved seeing Audrey go bad a swap from good to evil is a fun contrast and shows the villains just how being bad like they once were can be terrible and cause such negative drama. It was a great book to finish this trilogy so far but I wish and hope for more adventures for the gang...
I gave this book five stars even though I’m still a little unsatisfied. My biggest disappointment is that we still don’t know who Evie’s dad is, along with Jay’s mom, Carlos’s dad, Uma’s dad, Gil’s mom, Harry’s mom, Celia’s mom, Dizzy’s dad, and the twin’s mom. Also, the fact that there is an orphanage on the Isle........because, given that all the VK’s being under 20 and the villains being brought to life to be punished: their parents are there so, why didn’t they claim them???

Of the three film novelizations, this is by far the best written. The others are simple play-by-plays, but here the adaptation includes added internal thoughts and better descriptions that will help young readers feel like they've learned more about their favorite characters through the story from a wonderful film.
This is my favorite movie give away a bit is the best movie of the year I love this movie with all my life I really really really really really really really really really really really really really want to read this book
Whenever I've rewatched the movie many times and done reading this last series of Descendants, I can't help but cry 'coz this movie was dedicated to Cameron Boyce a.k.a Carlos,. So unexpected and still cannot believe that he passed away 😔 Yet I'll forever cherished these series in me. 💖
I liked this one just as much as the others maybe more. We get to see more villians and their kids and an ending I'm quite satisfied with. It wraps up the series really well.
I loved watching the movies and reading the books of this amazing franchise. I am sad that there will be no more movies to watch but I can’t wait to watch what the cast does next.
Me gustó menos que los dos primeros libros, pero le doy 3,5/5⭐porque amo descendientes y porque no me acordaba de que Ben le había pedido matrimonio a mal. Extrañare a Carlos 🤍.
I am running out of ways to say that novelisations are just the film but with words. I will say though, that this one missed out a couple of scenes that also happened to be some of my favourites, which sucks.
