My opinion about karate blocks is that it has good natural environment on how to defend your self if their is something happening. Also it shows how to do karate skills in a good matter when practicing without hurting yourself. I rated 4 stars because it is a good book that has good self confidence facing someone.

The event's that occur were sparring with two people and learn your stances for movements of getting a belt color. The main points where that when you do stances you need to do them with strong feelings so it will involved the other person how he is going to react with you. Also when you do sparring you need to know how to control yourself so you don't hit no one when practicing. when you spar you are learning how to fight in real situation. The author's purpose of writing this is to inform readers all about karate movements and skills of self defense environment.

The title relates to the book karate blocks by how they talk about through the story. Also how they explain how to do karate blocks/steps. For example each karate-stanza learns rising block, the downward block, the inside block, and the outside block. Because they need to be able to defend attacks from all sides. In the text it say's that all the blocks help you protect your body from getting hurt.

An interesting thing I learned from the book was that all skill's help you defend yourself. Because it will help you not to get hurt. For example blocks protect the body from getting injuries. In the text it say's that good movements help protect the body from damage.

I rated the book 4 stars because it has good defense environment when facing problems. I will recommend these book for someone that likes to stretch and be healthy. Because it will help you to have good stance positions and good self emotions.
