Checked out the hardcover from CCPL. New acquisition. I have long thought Star Trek the original series said more about who we really are or can be.

Science fiction is not just about the technology.

If anything, the book gives a great reference of SF in literature, film and television.

The international relations and politics provides a historical snap shot and predictions of the future state.
