2.7 maybe (?) The poems werent bad whatsoever i think the problem was the poorly done compilation of them. It got repetitive a lot of times thats why im not that surprised by how long i took to finish it.
got to give a shout out to my boy Fang Shu-shao tho, you really ate with “To his Coffin”.

Though this is a physically beautiful volume, the poems are badly arranged and I can’t help but dislike the translation of some. I really don’t think Chinese poetry needs to rhyme in English. It strips the original beauty from it and arranges into something dull and unoriginal. On top of that, a poem about a woman in a bad marriage is translated as “Beautiful Toilet.”

A tiny volume. It will fit in a pair of jeans' back pocket. Both in rhyme and free verse, all a delight.
