My review today is on the romance, Christmas With the Enemy, A Blizzard Novel. I haven't read any of Mary's book before but I really enjoyed this one and hope to read more of her work. This book is well written, humorous, and heart warming. You are going to love this one. The story of a long feud between two families that had once been close knit.

City girl Samantha, Sam, Windermere has come up to the family lodge. Her father had bribed her to come for the holidays by paying her student loans. Her family was to arrive before her but hadn't arrived yet. She found a pot of stew on the stove and was enjoying it when a mountain man burst through the door. Both claimed to own the lodge and refused to budge. Come to find out, although this was the Winermere's week at the lodge no one had been here these last three years so Hank Tucker came up each year and did repairs and cleaning before his family came in the next week. Sam is not about to leave though it's her week.

Hank Tucker is a rancher. He comes up each year to clean and repair the lodge. His family would be here next week. He is shocked to find a beautiful city girl eating his food and messing up his sofa. He ends up helping the girl. She can't seem to do anything. They are trapped in the lodge by a blizzard. Neither can leave. He received a note from his sweetheart before he arrived. Now reading the letter he finds his sweetheart is off to the city. His heart is broken. What else can go wrong?

A struggle of two broken hearts that are struggling to bring peace to their families. God has a plan for these two families, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. A plan for a hope and a future. Give Him your heart and watch Him bring peace into your mess.

What happens when you have two feuding families and one vacation lodge they share? You have some chaos. But...what happens when these two feuding families end up in the vacation lodge over a holiday? You have something Scrooge could take notes from. But, Christmas miracles do happen, and in the snowy beauty of Montana, perhaps these two long feuding families can sort things up and restore the friendship they once shared. This is a fun Christmas read packed with humor, adventure, beautiful sights, delicious food, city folks, country people, a hard working marketing intern, and cowboy with manners that will make you swoon, and love. I felt like I was in the lodge for Christmas and I loved it. Easily five out of five stars.

I was not disappointed and the storyline kept me in anticipation for the next development. Mary Vee's description of the weather had me feeling the cold , snow falling ,star gazing and smelling the line scented mountain air!
