Hmm i like this one! Quick read for me, managed to finish before sleeping. Both characters were okay and i like Leah. She speaks her mind and shes confident. But i thought the Daddy kink here wasn't really enough for me but well 4 stars!

This a fun, new book released today B.B. Hamel's Daddy series. If you love an older man, younger woman sexy, steamy romance and are a fan of a football, this book may just what you are looking for. This dual POV story keeps the story interesting as Cole, retired injured football player himself, finally reaches the goal he only dreamed of but worked so hard for, to be the head coach for his own NFL team. Its home base is North Dakota and besides this new team, not much is going on here, until Cole and the lovely, talented new trainer/physical therapist, Leah meet!

The sparks keep flying as Leah can't deny the pull to Cole she is feeling everytime she looks his way. He may be way older than her but man is he gorgeous and sweet! Cole is daydreaming about her like a teenaged boy which causes him to lose focus on what should be his top priority, being the best NFL coach he can be. Besides the fact that he is her boss and shouldn't even be going there with her at all, but how can he help himself!

This book is soooo good- funny, super sexy, romantic and...football! Read this one asap...this the season!

I really loved this steamy read. This was the story of Leah a physical trainer and Cole is a coach for an NFL team. When he calls her into his office to massage and old injury sparks fly. Great read, plenty of drama and off the charts hot. I was hooked from beginning to end.

This was an excellent and captivating story, one I thoroughly enjoyed reading. There were plenty of twists and turns, all of which only served to enhance an already intriguing plot. This is definitely a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Cole has worked so hard and given up so much, but finally he has his own NFL team, the Fargo Chainsaws. The motorcycle accident Cole had when he was younger had ended his career back then, so instead of playing football he went into coaching. As head coach, Cole knows his old leg injury is a weakness. The injury had always bothered him, but over the last year it had gotten a lot worse; it is all he can do to stop himself from limping. Cole knows his players wouldn’t respect him if they knew, so he asks Leah, one of the trainers, for help, but this is on the proviso that the massages and exercises are kept secret. Leah doesn’t know how she ended up in this situation, but suddenly work becomes a lot more interesting. The NFL would frown at any sort of improper behaviour, so the two have to be extra careful about their ongoing relationship. When Atlas, the owner, approaches Leah and asks for a date, it puts her in a quandary; how can she say no. Yet, Leah is not just going to give up her time and life for a person that doesn’t really make her happy. Atlas may be rich, but he doesn’t have what she really needs; he is not Cole and she is a hopeless romantic. It isn’t long before rumours circulate about Leah and Atlas, which causes a rift between Leah and Cole. Cole hates feeling this way; he has never been a jealous man before and he is soon distracted. For his own good, Cole knows he has to talk to Atlas about Leah, pleasantly surprised when Atlas doesn’t take issue with him about seeing her; now Atlas understands why Leah turned him down. It is only when Leah and Cole are caught in a compromising situation by one of the players that Cole realizes how selfish he is being; distractions, problems, it’s all threatening this brand new team. To protect Leah, Cole knows he has to keep his distance from her, but is this really the right way to go about things? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

He's The Daddy!  A Must Have Read!
Cole is coach for the Chainsaws NFL team and he has Leah as one of the medical trainer therapists.  His football career was brought to an abrupt end after a life changing motorcycle accident and he asks Leah to help ease his thigh injury so that he can carry on with his everyday life without limping [and keeping the injury a secret].  He is almost twice her age but neither of them cares as there is plenty of passion between them - age is merely a number. With all the sneaking around there is a tension in their relationship that only enhances further the red hot sizzling chemistry between them. STEAM HEAT - so have your fans/ac in fully working order to cool things down for you as you read this passionate love story.  However, as she works for him that could prove to be an issue so they sneak around hiding their relationship from everyone.  But secrets have to be guarded very carefully if they are remain secrets and sometimes things just don't go to plan. This is the third book in the Dark Daddies series by B.B. Hamel and I am loving this series very much indeed.  Such fantastic believable and realistic characters that are well developed and  as she is such a good writer, it is so easy to 'see' Cole and Leah as their lives play out.  They are both charismatic but I do think this is somewhat 'darker' than the previous two books in the series so it really isn't for anyone under 18 years old.  A terrific storyline that is very enjoyable and also one that I know that I will read again in the future as it was just so entertaining.   I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Definitely recommended - read it now and enjoy!

Fabulous, flirty and forbidden! A MUST-BUY!
In her usual indominable fashion, author BB Hamel is presenting “COACH DADDY” today, the most sensuous May-December romance this season. It is a bit darker than Hamels usual, (So, those younger than 18 need not apply!) due to some light BDSM/power-exchange and spanking. Hamel’s prose is eloquent as always, flows easily and takes readers away from their real-world circumstances and places them into the fast-paced possibilities of a professional football team. The characters of Leah and Cole are well-developed and realistic. However, the sensuous nature of their taboo daddy/daughter relationship is pretty much off the charts and will pull readers into the “cloak and dagger” circumstances of trying to hide their growing relationship from their co-workers! Good thing there is the promised HEA! Yet, getting there, getting to that HEA is fraught with twists and turns that make “COACH DADDY” so worth the time and cost of admission voluntarily ready an ARC copy of “COACH DADDY” and this is my honest review. “COACH DADDY” has earned a 4½ STAR recommendation from this reader/reviewer. (4 STARS since novellas are too short for that fifth star, but an extra ½ STAR because “COACH DADDY” is just that good!) Cole is the first coach of a new NFL expansion team in Fargo, ND. No one believes that his team will succeed but he has a history of proving people wrong. He focuses all he has on succeeding and being the best coach. He has the respect of his team because he shows no weaknesses. However he does have an old sports injury on his thigh that is acting up between the stress and extra activity. He asks Leah, one of the team trainers, to secretly help him. Her massages of his thigh inspire new dirty thoughts that he hasn't had in years. He is very interested in Leah but she is half his age and works for him. If the secret gets out it would be a big scandal. Also he can't get her out of his mind which distracts him from football.
Leah has a thing for Coach Cole. She has never been a big football fan but she is a big admirer of the coach. Massaging his thigh makes her want to rub more. She wants to be with him even though he is old enough to be her father. He wants to be her Daddy. Can she convince Cole that being with her is worth the risk?
This is a hot older man, younger woman story. Even though he is a coach, the sport doesn't play a huge role in the story. I like this story because unlike many sports stories there is no too egotistical players in it. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Leah and Cole Wood. Leah is one of the personal trainers for a new NFL expansion team. Cole Wood is the man that they are counting on to put that team on the map and not in a losing streak kind of way. However years ago Coach Wood was in a motorcycle accident that wasn't repaired quite right and now years later he is still having problems with it. He has no desire to have his fellow coaches or even his players see him as a week man. So he asks Leah to keep a secret and help him elevate some of his pain. Now they both are beginning to realize that there is more to this then just rehab for the coach. Can they find a HEA or will outside forces make sure that never happens?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This is the 3rd story in this series and one hot and sexy read about Cole an older man who is the coach of a new NFL team, Chainsaws in Fargo and Leah a young woman who is a trainer for the team. Cole has an old injury from a motorcycle accident that ended his career and seeks help from Leah secretly to massage his injury. Cole does not want to look weak in front of his players. Once these two spend time together all bets are off! Cole is her boss but they do not let it stop them from being together secretly at all times. Leah and Cole are seen by the quarterback kissing and Cole walks away from Leah. After two weeks Cole is called out by the young rich owner about the last 2 losses and things are revealed and once the owner is done kicking him into action does Cole try to fix his previous actions. I love how these two do not allow their age difference or others to stop what they want, one another! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Coaching a big NFL team has its perks. Screwing a coworker isn't one of them if you get caught. Cole noticed Leah right away. Not only pretty but smart enough to know that if a player is hurt, he needs to rest. Yet, when Cole puts the moves on her, he isn't sure she'd reciprocate the feelings. Little does he know, she feels the same way about her Daddy. Things heat up in the training room after the players leave. Cole can't help but think, is he doing the right thing? Or is he being selfish?

Leah landed her dream job and now had a Daddy too. Win-win! Only when Cole pulls away from her because he makes a decision instead of talking to her, does she think it might be a mistake? What's a girl to do without her Daddy to keep her in line?

Another short and sweet story by BB Hamel. May-December romance for sure. Leah is a fresh-faced 20 something woman and Cole is a middle-aged man, looking for some fun. It was a good story.

This is the third book in this series and it is probably my favorite so far. They’ve all been good, but I really liked this one. Cole is a coach of a new NFL team in North Dakota. Leah is one of the physical trainers. Leah is about to turn twenty-two and Cole is almost twice her age. Their attraction to each other is instant and their chemistry is off the charts hot. They have to keep their relationship a secret since Cole is the coach and Leah is one of the trainers and it is looked upon badly by the NFL. This was an excellent storyline with some drama added in and great characters. I loved the banter between Leah, Tessa and the players and the connection that Leah and Cole obviously have. This is an older man and younger woman storyline, so if you don’t like that, then you might want to skip it. If you like these stories, then jump right in and do not miss this one.

Fabulous Read

Coach Daddy drew me in immediately with the storyline, the writing and the loveable characters Cole and Leah. He’s a head coach for the NFL, struggling with an injury from a motorcycle accident that ended his own football playing career. He’s also one handsome blue-eyed 40 year old man. Leah is a 21 year old member of his training staff with magic hands for massaging and a strong hand in ordering exercise to have the players at their best condition. He enlists her secrecy and expertise to help with his old injury and thus begins the sizzling chemistry between these two. While there are really no surprises here with the story, what you do find is lust, hot sex and finally sweet romance. B. B. Hamel has a way with these older man/younger woman romances. I couldn’t wait to read this and I wasn’t disappointed.

This is a sexy older man/younger woman story. I really appreciate the timely and sensative matter of two people being attracted to each other, Cole the football coach and Leah the sports trainer. It is handled with maturity and responsibility and probably the envy of every workplace across the world. With that said, the immediate attraction and lust that bursts between Cole and Leah is intense. Their internal struggles to do what is professionally appropriate gets pushed to the side because they find a connection with each other.

I got completely engrossed in Cole and Leah's story. It is very seductive and a really good romance that leaves you feeling good - my favorite kind of romance.

Cute book. Characters were great. I’m not much of a football fan, but that didn’t matter. The logistics of team and play were explained enough that I understood what was going on, and wasn’t bored. I loved that despite the possible consequences of having a relationship together Cole and Leah did it anyway, and really came out with the secret of their relationship in a professional and honest way without too much drama. The decided to go for it, and did in the end! I was a little sad for the story to end, I really would love that some of the characters in this book find their own relationship in the end. Who knows, perhaps they will! BB Hamel certainly created a great story that was easy to read and left me looking for more of her work.

First time reader and I will be back

Hello. I’m a first-time reader for this author and I’ll definitely be coming back. I found the writing to be perfect it was easy to follow and the story just continued and had me interested not only in the main characters but also the supporting character. I found myself being way interested in what Sean was going to do and he’s a supporting character. I never get interested in the supporting characters. I was very interested in the coach and trainer dynamic. That was pretty cool. Throwing in the “daddy” seemed a little force. You didn’t seem to be much story behind why you want to be called daddy or why she felt so comfortable calling him daddy. I don’t know, but each their own.

Enter Leah, a trainer for the team, to look at his injury and access what needs to be done. Leah only has eyes for Coach and he for she but must keep it a secret from everyone. Can they admit their feelings? Or will there be trouble? Your answers await you in Coach Daddy.

Dark daddy romance is an interesting read that sparks alot of imagination for me in other areas of my life. I can't see myself wanting this type of relationship but understand it's appeal all the same. Ms. Hamel brings me interesting stories that tickle my fancy. I definitely don't want to miss the next one.

You know those books that when you finish, leaves you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling inside? This is the one.
The interaction between Cole and Leah is amazing, you can feel the chemistry and the fire between those two.

The story starts great and it's really well written. I read it in one sitting and loved every part of it.
The best part, for me, is always how the team is like a family and they all protect each other and rely on each other. It's beautiful, I really love that part of a sports book.

So, I really enjoyed this one. It's funny, exciting, hot, cute and cool! I liked every part of it. :)

What I liked/Didn’t Like: Le me start by saying that I love B.B. Hamel’s writing style and how much she puts into the characters personalities. This one is a dark daddy romance that kept my kindle hot. I loved it and am looking forward to more in this series.

A Forbidden Romance Between an NFL Coach And A Trainer

When forty year old Coach Cole Wood, head coach of a brand new NFL franchise, asks if Leigh Reed, the twenty-one year old trainer, can keep a secret - to help with an old injury but to keep it behind closed doors so he doesn't look weak in front of his players, things get steamy. Unfortunately, Cole's position in management means that he should not be seeing Leigh, so their relationship never really takes off.

Cole and Leigh come across as real characters with a real problem. This book is a quick read, but it does a good job of grabbing interest and has a satisfying and sweet HEA.

This is an immensely enjoyable and utterly delicious romance. The sizzle and steam between Leah and Cole is off the charts hot!! Add in the dangerous risk to their respective careers, some light BDSM elements and some Daddy/little girl play and this May-December romance really delivers everything you could possibly want in one wonderful package. With an excellent blend of heart and heart that is solidly backed up by intense emotions, this book will capture your attention and your heart. I am of my own accord posting an impartial review.

What a great book to read on a Friday night!!

You got football players and all the hype of a game. A coach whose older and a trainer half his age, both who are into each other, even if its against the rules. Throw in steamy scenes between the two and you have a fun exciting read!!! Oh yeah!!

Cole and Leah meet when she goes to work as a physical trainer for the new NFL football team he coaches. He’s drawn to her and she’s attracted to him but there are difficulties. He’s 20 years her senior and she works for him. The story is how they manage to overcome the obstacles standing in their way, or do they? There are so many things seem pretty dismal at one point so Cole pushes Leah away so he won’t jeopardize her job and career. Lots of hot and steamy scenes will hold your interest as the plot advances.

I liked this book. I didn't find it a dark romance, as the title claims. Cole and Leah tried to fight their attraction, but couldn't. Even though he was much older and technically her boss. They kept it a secret, but when one person found out, he pushed her away. She felt like she and their relationship meant nothing to him. When he realizes that he was wrong and tries to get her back, will she take him back or has the damage already been done? A good story about not letting age, or any other factor, stop you from going after who you love.

Okay here is what I like about the books in this series, It actually has a plot and a nice setting, the two characters actually get to know each other and there is slight angst in it, like it is well planned and well executed.

This one was about (as stated in the title, again the titles need some revisiting idk it sounds cringy) a coach and a sports trainer, they have this tension building between them, she is also his therapist because he has an injury from when he used to play.

The tension was 🤭🤭🤭, the spice was okay, again the coach has a daddy kink and there is also age gap in this.

Does age really matter?
After you read this book you may decide that sometimes the heart should overrule the brain. In this instance Cole is twice as old as Leah. They face many challenges that make their relationship more important to both of them. Relatable characters and story are brought to life with Ms. Hamel's wonderful writing.

Cole is an ex NFL player turned coach who wants too prove that he can coach a winning team and Leah is a physical therapist who wants to help people. Great fast paced read that doesn’t beat around the bush.

Cole Wood the Coach of an all new NFL team knew Leah was trouble with a capital T, but he really couldn’t help himself with the beautiful, smart and talented Trainer. And for all intents and purposes Leah couldn’t help herself with Coach Wood either and while it only started after Leah started treatments with Coach it progressed into something. This is an age gap read so if your not into that please skip.
