J does it again! 🔥 This book was definitely a page turner. I couldn’t put it down. JaeShawn is bae but definitely pissed me off when it came to his baby mama . The book ended with a bang for Maddie and John😩🤧 wow 😳 on to part 2!!!

Good Girls Love Hustlers by Jahquel J had me posted up in bed like I wasn’t about to lose sleep over these characters. This story is messy in the best way drama, betrayal, love, and just enough danger to keep your heart racing.
Tiana’s a single mama of twins trying to survive, Jaeshawn’s a fine, dangerous kingpin breaking his own rules for her, And then there’s Kaysha his baby mama playing games and using their son like a chess piece. Honestly, both of them had me ready to throw the book at times.
Maddie’s escaping a toxic man straight into the arms of an Arabic god, and Dread? Pure chaos. Jahquel J had me feeling like I needed popcorn in one hand, a strong drink in the other, and a seat in the back of the room so I could just sip my tea and watch the madness unfold.

So far Ms Pam is the only person worth to root for. I hope that changes in book 2
My random thoughts as I read:
Ain’t no way I’m taking my babies ( not to mention only a month old babies) to a jail to visit no one including their pappy. And if his mommy wanted them involved her ass should be heading to Sing Sing at the crack of dawn. She declining calls and this girl still fulfilling this woman’s wish. Tuh
Off top I think Kaysha is crazy for sweating Jae even though they are not together but no way should his moms be coming at her crazy and she take. FOH.
Ain’t no way Jae a hustler but got his kid living in a pissy hallway in the pj’s. What kind of man is that??

I love Jahquel’s writing, but I don’t vibe with this book. Maybe it’s the characters. I wanted to DNF, but of course I’m messy so I had to keep reading to see what happened.
Tiara is a smart girl that makes dumb decisions. She’s fresh new mom of 1 month old twins attempting to travel to see her baby’s dad in Rikers. Why she had those new fresh out the cooch babies all round New York? Huh?
Anyhoo, she meets Jaeshawn and he is smitten at first sight. Although he is beyond enamored with Tiara, his dog self can’t stop slipping up with his babymoms who he shares a 1-year old son with. Kaysha is beyond crazy. She believes they will be a family. I was so sick of their antics. Him getting mad at her for being crazy, but you stay laid up in her bed. 🙄
Then, there’s Maddie, Tiara’s best friend who is in an abusive relationship. I’ll just leave that there because…I know how those relationships can be. 🤦🏾♀️
Johns is Jaeshawn’s right hand man. While he’s running around handling business, he gets put on to Maddie, but she won’t leave her handsy boyfriend alone.

Got Dang It Jah, You Did It Again!!!
I could not put this book down, thats how good and engrossed I was. Jaeshawn was my guy, he just needs to understand that you can’t step to a woman like Tiara and promises to her and you want her as your girl and wife, but still dipping into your crazy delusional baby mama Kaysha. Kaysha was my headache in this whole book because she is definately the type of chick who cannot read the room if you pointed out the flaws. Kaysha is delusional and I think she may have a mental problem if she thinks that just because Jaeshawn old confused butt still be having sex with her that he is going to give her that ring, picket fence and the dog..
Moving on to Maddie, I am so glad that the tables have turned for her in a good way. I was excited and literally jumping up and down when she finally was forced to leave her abusive boyfriend Jared. Jared got what he deserved in the end. John is a good look for Maddie and I pray to god that they will work out.
Lastly, Jah you and your cliffhangers have me stressed out to the point where I have anxiety and breaking out in hives lol. Oh well, I will make an appointment with my doctor for some medication for the hives and still move on to Book 2.

Ok so yeah WTH did I just read. It jammed packed with drama. And idk how Tiara has the patience because I don’t care how nice that man is he has TOO MUCH BAGGAGE. And she has too much ahead of her to allow a man to infiltrate her life who doesn’t seem to have to any self control when it comes to a baby momma he claims he doesn’t want! And not only THAT SHE PREGNANT AGAIN?! Yea no.
I can do bad all by myself and wouldn’t take on the headache. But it’s too late now because I have a feeling she’s not gonna let this go.
And don’t get me started on John and Maddie. I knew that man was coming off too perfect.
Overall I give this story a 3.5 star rating. This book needed to be edited badly. There were a lot of mistakes. Anyway on to the next one.

Part 2 please
Where is part 2! Oh this story was bomb af. From one chapter to the next it was something going on. First thing first that damn Kaysha a snake ass bitch and I knew she was to not be trusted but I didn’t expect that call at the end. I just want to see how this all plays out. Second I love how Jae & Tiara are growing . I just wish Jae could see past the shit Kaysha doing. It’s like he just ups and jumps when she call with the bs. Now John need his ass whooped for that cliffhanger. See Maddie not as calm as Tiara. And where is Dyron? He just disappeared. Some shit is about to go down and I’m ready.

Love the Drama
That was a good read. I tell you Kaysha is about to start more drama then she have in the first book. I also have a feeling that Kaysha really not pregnant by Jeashawn but Jared because she was far along then she expected to be which have me feeling it's not Jae baby. I just knew John had a secret up his sleeve when Jaeshawn told him to handle his situation, I just know Maddie is going to be real hurt. About to get into part 2 and see what drama unfolds. I've read this book the first time it dropped and just like before I don't like Kaysha trouble making self. I was annoyed that Jaeshawn kept going back messing with her. She's a grimey, desperate bitter bm and I he realize what he has in Tiara before it's to kate. I'm happy Maddie is finally getting the love she deserves but I feel like the information she just learned will have a huge impact on her find love.

Mann Tiara can’t catch a break. Dyron family ain’t ish for real smh. I love Jae & Tiara!! My only issue is Kaysha. I can’t stand her. The problem is Jae. He won’t put her in her place and completely leave her only. He keeps giving her false hope. That’s why she thinks what she’s doing is ok smh. You can’t help but feel for Maddie. I think John will be good for her though. That ending!!! Can’t wait for part 2

These characters are crazy to say the least. The laughs are non stop. Kaysha is a ghetto mess that needs to wake up. Jae needs to stop thinking with his little head before he really messes up what he is trying to build with Tiara. That ending though, omg John has got some explaining to do. After everything that Maddie has been through you would think he knows better, but I guess not. We'll see what book 2 brings.

I like Tiana and I really want things to work out between her and Jaeshawn. He really about to irk me though cause I'm sick of him keep dipping back in his baby mama who he claims he can't stand. I wonder how he's gonna feel when he finds out she trying to set him up? I like John for Maddie and I understand her stance on him being married. I just hope they can figure things out for the sake of their unborn.💌💌

Know What You Want From A Person
Jahquel, this read is such a true thing. We tend to get comfortable in situations because that's what we are used to. Jea is a perfect example of having his cake and icing. A woman scorned is a horrible thing to have. Unknowingly sometimes we think things are one way but you have to read the room.
This is not gonna end well for innocent people nor guilty people either. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Love & Drama
I enjoyed the story of Tiara and Jaeshawn. She needed somebody to care about her and he was on track to do that but he can't leave that baby mom alone. She too manipulative and if he's really done with her, why keep sleeping with that girl.
When Maddie finally was able to get outside, the story got more interesting. Can't wait to see what happens with her and John.

When I started reading, I found Jaeshawn to be trifling. By the end, he was still trifling. He's doing too much with his ex (also trifling) to be trying to be moving on. This book is full of baby mommas drama!! Larry Bird, Jeshawn appears to be too much of a boss to allow the foolishness. Tiera has put up with too much in such a short time to even deal with this. Like A Bad Penny
Kaysha is constantly popping up where she doesn't belong like a bad penny and ruining everything for everyone! She is an instigator, a liar and a peace breaker who needs to be dealt with! She's also in cahoots with Dread, having given him permission to get at Jaeshawn! Someone, please take out the trash!
