by Peter MacDonald

Have you ever Attended a seance? Dabbled in the occult? Thought you had seen a ghost? Watched horror movies? Read a spy story? Wondered if extra-terrestrials exist? Heard of thought transference? Heard of a remote observer? These are the themes in Peter Macdonald's weird, funny, yet thought-provoking novel, set during a Writing Group Weekend in Somerset. The underlying subject of the book is literary, with all the 'students' short-stories being read out by them and discussed, but espionage, murder and the paranormal all play their part.
