Rate this book
Are you looking to improve your empathic abilities? Overcome your fears and develop your gift?
If you answered YES to any of those questions then you need to read this book.

Empathy, in its most basic form, is the ability to feel the emotions and energy of not only the people around you but the world around you as well. It is difficult to adequately describe what empaths really are. Some work as councilors, able to read the emotions of the distraught and vulnerable.

Many are healers, sometimes feeling the echo of pain before the patient can even begin to speak. Empathy is a sixth sense of sorts it’s an extra layer of skin for some people, with different textures or auras depending on that individual's psyche. For others, it’s emotions that just pop or slide into their mind when someone walks in the room.

While the way the gift manifests is going to be different for every person, one thing that remains constant is that those with these abilities came by them naturally and have the ability to improve upon them with practice.

If you are looking to improve your empathic abilities, then A 21 Step by Step Emotional Healing & Survival Guide for Empaths and Highly Sensitive People – Overcome Fears and Develop Your Gift is the book you have been waiting for.

Title perhaps a bit overstated?

Empath a hot word these days. As one, I don't have the sense that I "need' emotional healing. Possibly I've just chosen to read the wrong book. What I was hoping to learn was HOW to barrier myself --just a little--from feeling the depths of emotions I absorb when communicating/sensing those of humans or animals. Author spends a significant portion of time describing methods of meditation as well as benefits of cognitive therapy; both excellent tools...but for me? None have me methods that would help me to prevent sapping my own psyche and emotional strength.

It has some beginners information. But it didn't answer my questions on how to protect myself.

I know nothing about the author, but obviously he is not an empath!
I'm not an empath to collect and listen to the pain of others.. You (the author) can do this yourself if you like!
An Empath is so sensitive to everything around her, you don't have the right to choose our life purpose for us.. This is a major mistake in this book.

I thought this book was very informative and descriptive in meditation techniques

Five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I would recommend this book to my therapist on how it talks about overcoming flaws in our own thought patterns and how to overcome them
