Harness the power of new technology for professional-looking photos

Digital photography has come of age. Not only have sales of digital cameras overtaken film cameras, but now even amateur photographers can capture images that, five years ago, were difficult for the pros. And new computers—even bottom-of-the-line cheapies—can handle huge image files. Advanced Digital Photography (Revised Edition) shows how these sweeping changes in technology can help take photographers way beyond the basics—if they learn how to harness the technological power at their fingertips. Respected and best-selling photography book author Tom Ang explains the capture of photographs, processing of data, printing, and much more, complete with full-color illustrations. Detailed step-by-step instructions let photographers at every level obtain professional results, without special equipment.

• New, lower-priced digital cameras and computers mean even beginning photographers can get great results...Advanced Digital Photography shows the way

• Fully revised and updated to reflect changes in available technology

• Detailed step-by-steps on shooting, processing data, and printing

• No special equipment needed!

Lesson Learned: I am afraid I did not learn too much from this book. Many of the lessons and advice I had already picked up either via the internet or other books I borrowed.

Summary: Good book for those who want to take their photography to the next level.

Good workbook. Fine illustrations to go with notes. But too technical.

This is a well written, cogent book detailing photography techniques and methodologies in detail. It is an interesting and fairly easy read as the technical terms are kept to a minimum.
