Very well written story with likeable well described characters. They develop well through the story. I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the story closer. The story flows well of the pages and captivates the reader.
When not to expect to find your HEA? When you have a lot of issues in your past that made you build walls and then you find the one that can tear them down? But can you open up and be vulnerable?
I like the mix of humour, chemistry, passion, sexual tension, emotional overflow and twists.
Recommendable sweet and romantic read.

I cannot get enough of this author and this series!
Each book is an intense emotional and SEXY storyline that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout the whole book! Intensely sensuous, wrought with emotion, and so well written that I absolutely could not put it down!
Each book can be read as a standalone or they can be read in order of publication as one long series.

This book was hands down hilarious! It had me laughing out loud and in fits of giggles at work. Safe to say, my coworkers probably think I'm a nut. The pranks that Luke and Lexi pulled on one another is creative on a whole other level! I can't wait to try some of them on my boyfriend. I love how neither of them denied their feelings for one another and were pretty open about it the whole time. The chemistry they both share is sizzling, and off the charts, HOT. I was dying in laughter when Luke pulled a prank on Lexi with his pet snake.

While the story was hilarious, it was also very emotional and touched on every day issues such as miscarriages and PTSD. I absolutely, wholeheartedly fell in love with this story and cannot wait to read Jace and Cami's next as I have been patiently waiting to see how their story unfolds from the very first book.

Two fabulous forces of characters
My favorite of this series (for the moment)
I loved the two main characters: Luke, the soldier who returns from mission after being tortured; and Lexi, a separated woman for 4 years but her ex-alcoholic husband returns harassing her, while she took her life in hand by restoring houses to sell.
Their relationship is quite funny because of the way they do not support each other, each thinking that he is right. Bad jokes after bad jokes, sharp dialogues after sharp dialogues, they end up discovering themselves.
Another point that I loved is the relationship of Jace and Cami who runs from the first book like a line and gives the mouth water for their story, (it will be the next story)

Wow 😮 this book 📖 had me feeling every emotion .......
Luke is one messed up man 👨 but I’m not surprised 😱 after reading what he went through whilst stationed in Iraq 🇮🇶, he is protective , strong 💪🏼 and determined to expand the gym with his 4 best mates Cole, Jace, and Caden , oh and Gerald his python 🐍 pet ....then Lexi moves in next door and bam 💥 there’s a new future for him , but he just doesn’t know it it just yet .......Lexi is hard hitting , strong and dependant on no one but herself .....then one early morning that all changes .....but to know what happens you will have to red the book 📖 I can assure you that you will not be disappointed because it is awesome 👏🏻 and gets the big thumbs 👍🏻 Up from me 😍

I have never read a Sheridan Anne romance before but I am glad I decided to take a chance on an author unknown to me. This story is well written with great character development. The story flows seamlessly from beginning to end. The chemistry between Lexi and Luke is off the charts hot. I loved how she used humor and intense emotions to traverse the complicated landscape of their lives, leading them to a fulfilling happily ever after. I am so glad I took a chance on this one. I have added this author to my favorites list and will be reading more form them in the future. Well done!

While Luke has been mentioned in previous books in the Rebels Advocate series, his character in this story is really given deep characterization by the author. Equally well-developed is Lexi’s character. Luke’s and Lexi’s individual back stories are very interesting which gave the story the right amount of drama. Their interactions are amusing but how they transitioned from irritated to enamored is smooth. This good book comes with good sex scenes too. Luke has returned from Iraq and is going thru the motions of living while keeping everything inside. Lexi has walked away from her ex with nothing and has managed to start new by flipping houses. I loved when these two meet as neighbors and laughed out loud about the childish pranks. The story takes a serious turn when Luke finally faces up to his PTSD and helps a former team member deal with his own torment. Lexi and Luke are great together and the author did a great job dealing with a serious subject.

OMG Luke and Lexi will pull you in and take your heart under. Each book in this series gets better and better. This one is filled with chaos, lol moments and two people with walls built high. Will they be able to knock down each others walls and find their happy ending? Of course they will, but it's a heck of a ride to get there. This is book three and if you haven't already read Cole and Caden, I suggest you pick those up. You won't be disappointed in this series.

Enemies to lovers/neighbors- Luke and Lexi

What a beautiful story. It broke my heart and then fixed it. Luke is one of the partners to the Rebels advocate gym with Cole, Caden and Jace. He's been back from his last tour 6 months ago and is still dealing with the trauma he suffered the 3 weeks he was captured. Lexi is the sassy, annoying neighbor, that keeps getting him riled up. But Luke has never felt more alive and soon his enemy becomes his lifeline. The story is funny, emotional and steamy. This is book 3.

These two pranksters are a barrel of laughs the sexual tension is through the roof and the fireworks they make when they come together is explosive. Luke a soldier living with scars of his time in Iraq and Lexi with her life threatening medical condition and loss must come together to heal one another.

I loved how this book was romantic and sensual but dealt with so many issues of everyday life that the characters dealt with and overcame. This is a book that I read from cover to cover in 1 sitting , drawn in by the characters and their interactions with each other . With 2 people who wind each other up the wrong way , but the chemistry between them smoulders and is undeniable . Overall it's a book I'll be reading again in the future .

I think Luke’s book is up until now, my absolute favorite in this series. It made me laugh and it made me tear up. I could probably go on for some time about how great I think the characters are in this book and how the story that Sheridan Anne puts together for them was just marvelous, but I won’t bore you – read them for yourself.

Luke and Lexi

In Luke's story we get to meet a new leading lady, Lexi. Watching these two go from driving each other crazy, all the pranks, to falling in love was refreshing. Learning about Lexi's struggles from her previous marriage and to get her happy life in the end was so sweet.
