I zoomed in and read everything about each animal that was showcased! For each animal, there is a detailed photo layered in the rest of the colorful illustration, along with a brief description of the animal. While I knew (in the back of my mind) that this was a DK book, I forgot until I got to the end and saw the glossary. DK always takes the time to do things right and go that extra step.
