the genre is nonfiction. this book is for children that are beginning to read. this book is about llamas. it is about their life and what they like and dislike. they are related to camels, but they do not have humps on their back. they don't like spitting and they only spit when they are angry at other animals. i give this book 5 stars because there are so many facts. also, it has great pictures. it has a lot of great information about llamas.
A fact filled book on the different types of Llamas, and the how they have been used over the centuries to assist man. This book also has a glossary and test at the end of the book to help you recall what you have read.
Beautiful photos, nice large font. Easy sentences with lots of facts. My toddlers enjoyed this. We liked the comparisons with the other animals they knew as well (like the alpaca) and the funny faces at the end!
