River Gulch: James McCloud, Texas Ranger Series

Jared Rowcliff recently elected as Texas Territorial Marshal. Jared was in route to River Gulch to begin his new career when he was ambushed by those not wanting him to take control of the lawless territory. Rescued by a long time Indian friend Nokomis, who cared for Jared wounds and brought him back to health. Jared continues into River Gulch and meets the half-breed son of Nokomis who informs him who in town orchestrated him being bushwhacked.James McCloud soon joins him and the adventures begin in the nearby town of Oak City. An old prospector and collector of abandoned treasures entertains the town with the items he collects and brings to town. Later James McCloud is tasked to deliver prisoners to the Huntsville Texas prison in a newly developed Jail Coach
