Kat has a job she hates, a bun in the oven, and an ex-boyfriend who couldn’t run away from her fast enough. Getting hung up on rock star Tyler Hawk, a guy who’s known for playing the field, is the last thing she needs in her life.

When Kat’s reporter boss is injured on the way to interview Tyler, her boss begrudgingly allows Kat to take her place. It’s only fifteen questions, right? Or so she thinks. But when Tyler turns on the charm and is determined to make her his next conquest, he’s impossible to resist.

Kat needs to get her life in order for the sake of her baby, but could Tyler be a welcome relief from all the stress she can’t seem to escape in her life? Or will he add to her problems by stealing her heart and leaving her broken?

Wow! First, I loved how Kat and Tyler met. Kat replaced her horrible boss at the singer's interview. The irony of how Kat hated her mother's life because her mom had Kat when she was 16 years old and her father left, was just so crazy. Especially, when Kat turns around and gets pregnant, gets dumped by her boyfriend and is forced to take all kind of abuse from her psycho boss, in order to hold on to her job. It makes you wonder if Kat was really paying attention to her mother's situation at all. I hope there is a second book to see if Tyler and Kat go the distance!

Sweet rock romance

It’s nice to read romance about people with real life problems, not over the top drama. His rock star status would make him unlikely to meet and less likely to date and nearly impossible for him to fall for the small town girl with her own secrets. Yet, they are drawn in spite of her constant reluctance (lack of confidence and certain realism).

This was like a fairy-tale; normal girl meets and falls for the rock star. But it was cute and had some feels. I actually wish there was more, maybe something about Ashton?!?

This book is written from the female point of view. I must say I’m more into dual POV’s. In this book you don’t get to read Tyler’s thoughts, so you don’t know what he thinks and feels. It’s all Kat and I found her so annoying. She has a secret (the pregnancy and a job related one) and can’t seem to tell Tyler. Come on... it took her ages. Their insta love was so over the top. They keep going back and forth, just one more night, no just one more date, no this is our last night together. So freaking annoying! They meet, fall in love and break up in less than a week. Please.. And let’s not forget what a total manwhore he is. The number of women he’s been with, hit ‘m and leave ‘m, just gross. I can’t believe a pregnant woman would be so desperate she would jump that. And then there’s the fact she doesn’t believe his intentions are real and he’s just playing her, but she keeps going back for more sex. What a frustrating read! It’s not clear if he has been celibate in the weeks they were apart. Regarding his past I would say, probably not. That’s one of the things I need a dual POV for! It would be nice if Ashton will get his own book, but if it works out to be the same as this one, I wouldn’t bother reading it.
