These are a few of the key current buzzwords in the North American Catholic Church, and yet many parishes are struggling to find ways to actually live them out within their day-to-day life. Ron Huntley and Fr. James share a time-tested method that has changed the life of their parish, and parishes all over the world.
The first third of this book does a great job making the case for the urgency of evangelization in the life of the Church right now - but not just the wider global church, but each and every Catholic parish. The second two-thirds is essentially a manifesto on using alpha as a key part of the pastoral strategy of your parish, full of personal stories and best practices that come from many years of experience.
This book is a great resource for any Catholic parish who is thinking of trying out alpha, and makes a case for not simply using alpha as one among many "programs," but allowing it to shape the culture of the entire congregation.

This is an easy to read and practical overview of using Alpha in your Catholic parish or context. Both Ron and Fr James share their experiences and leanings to help and encourage others to try or further develop their use of Alpha as a tool for evangelisation and changing the culture of the Church.
