This is a quick and easy read. The storyline is well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are defined, and likable with sizzling chemistry. I liked it.

The intensity increases with each installment. What a rollercoaster. So many twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. It is imperative that all the books be read in order. Ms Green has created a masterpiece of a series with strong characters, a story that is full of mystery and suspense. There is no way the reader can guess what will happen next. Bridget’s detachment from all the drama is annoying at times considering the gravity of the issue being faced by Jason. But it all comes together in the cliffhanger. Ms Evergreen should get a prize for character creation of Eve. The characteristics and the plot around this character is brilliant. This is probably something that I should have been mentioned in my review of Book 4 but she is such an integral and central character that it is worth mentioning in all the reviews. Susan’s story continues as she struggles with her relationship issues. The story flows so naturally, there is never a moment where the reader is left feeling as though something is missing. A definite must read. I received an advanced copy of this book and am writing this review voluntarily.

Guilty as Sin is Jean Evergreen’s fifth book in her Philistine Heart series and continues Bridget and Jason’s dark story. Eve is introduced into the story and focuses her wrath at exposing Jason’s secrets and past sins. Will Bridget and Jason’s love and HEA survive Eve’s assault or will Bridget condemn Jason as guilty and leave? I recommend this suspenseful novel which has complex and unforgettable characters, an intriguing and storyline, suspense, mystery, violence, and dark romance. There is a cliffhanger at the end of this book which will be explored in the sixth book of this series entitled Surrender.

This review covers books 4, 5 and 6 as the author has turned them into a boxset. The saga continues with Bridget and Jason. I found the next 3 books troublesome as I just wasn’t compelled to keep reading so it became a burden to get through and that was unfortunate. There are too many errors, both typos and continuity and factual errors. I really hoped once I got to the end of the first story, even though it’s a very slow burn, that the enjoyment would take mAnd it would be an easy read, but unfortunately it didn’t happen. Maybe it’s just me, but I had trouble getting through this read and the next several.

This is the fifth book in the Philistine Heart Series. For full enjoyment, you should read the first four books first. The drama and emotional roller coaster continue for Bridget and Jason. Eve stirs the pot and the verdict overhangs. A great series that was a joy to read. No shortage of suspense. Some strong language and violence. Well written with complex characters and an entertaining story. You will find this book hard to put down once you begin. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This is book five in The Philistine Heart series. Just when you think Jason and Bridgett have found and reached their HEA, along comes Eve to the forefront of the story and takes a chunk out of it. I enjoyed this series so far, this has been a roller coaster ride of a story but the very in depth characters have definitely given the story some life. Now, is Jason faced with the choice? What will he choose? How will it all play out? Moving on to book six. Enjoy!

I am a little annoyed with this serie. For me, there is just to much religios "babbling" going on. I admit that I just swipe thought those pages without reading, and so far it doesn't seam like I am missing anything impornent that regards the storyline. So I find the whole thing to be unnecessary "noise"
Also, I kind of wish this Susan person could just be written off.. She I so God damn infuriating that I wish someone could push her in front of a bus..

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and love. The story of sensational feelings that can run through the body while reading. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

I am speechless. I cannot imagine what will come next for Jason and Bridget. The inference that they had a past relationship is intriguing and what does it have to do with her father. What is Eve's end game? What really happened to Amber?

I have all sorts of theories running through my mind and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I haven't found a series so riveting since Alethea Romig's Consequences Series. I couldn't put this book down since page 1. It was soooo good. As the end comes near I can't help but want more and more!

This is now the fifth installment in this series, and you have to read this entire series in order for maximum understanding and enjoyment. The author has done another awesome job with character development with Eve. There is such romance and suspense in this story, and it doesn’t end with this book, on to book 6.

If you enjoyed 4 keep reading

Horribly disappointed. The entire story line changes! Not at all the direction the first 3 books were heading. Was like reading entire different story waiting for it to turn back. Super disappointed. $10.00 wasted!
