Cross connection

Have you tried dating app? 🤣 Is it good experience for you. Well I never did and I don't think I will go for that option.

Cross connection is a debut novel of seema punwani. The cover of the book looks good and goes very well with story line.

The story is more like decoding emotions. The best part of book is written from the point of view of two Protagonist sama and zehn. It's more like story of true love.

In short sama is trying her hand at love and relationship. In 30s she re-enters in dating world to find all rules she believed that her aoul mate zehn. Let me clear this zehn met sama in college days. The problem is whenever their path cross timing ia wrong.
Now what will happen to them ?
Will they wait foe opportune time?

The lines in the book is mind-blowing. I must say author have great storytelling and writing skill.

The chapter *10 things I hate you* and *10 things i hate about me* is literally killing. ( Most loved) even the ending part is great.

Talking about character they are well developed and described. The language very lucid and narration part is great.

I have noted many lines from this book.

One only problem I faced is at middle plot becomes little bit slow. If the story have made little bit shorter and on point I would have highly recommend it.

Other that if you wamt to read some crisp and great narration then this is for you.

"Cross connection" is about that story about sudden special spark that happen between two people who were already in relationships with other people & eventually get married to different people. But Sama & Zehn keep meeting at different time, at different places by twist of destiny & realize how they were at home with each other like made for each other. The first half of book is written from Sama's point of view & the 2nd half from Zehn's point of view. The book started almost lukewarm from my point of view but as I got ahead, I actually started enjoying reading it. There's definitely chemistry between this two characters. Authors has tried to give some fresh perspective & different ending to a love story like old wine in a new bottle. However, I think, just to meet that special person in life who you think is your soul's other half, who understands you like no other and to be able to share a special bond with that person- that's no small feat and life's greatest treasured gift; irrespective of marriage or no marriage, which doesn't count. 3 stars for this one.

The book has many references to bollywood songs and dialogues. The initial phase has many of them.
Some of the best lines from the book were -
1) True love is the soul's recognition of its counterpart in another. (Pg 79)
2) The concept of 3Cs of a perfect relationship. "Chemistry, conversation nd comfort level".
3) 10 things I hate you (pg - 129) is romantic and emotional.
4) It's funny thing about coming home. Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same. You will realise What's changed is you".
❤️❤️❤️
There are other many beautiful lines penned. I think the story could have been a little shorter. Writing is simple and easy to understand. Language is lucid. Narration is crisp and clear.
As a debutant, it's a good start to the career.
I would recommend to read this book.
