BOUGHT Jamie Elric had accepted her lot in life, working multiple jobs to make ends meet, and trying hard to save her money. What she didn’t expect was accidentally breaking a million dollar vase and becoming auctioned out as its replacement. And she didn’t anticipate the rich and devilishly handsome Hunter Drake to make the purchase, or for him to brazenly proposition her to pay off her debt. She would have said no if he weren’t so…irresistible. Will love blossom between them, or is this ‘bought’ relationship doomed from the start? LOGAN Logan Drake is used to playing the part to an audience. He’s a brilliant entrepreneur, a caring brother, and the kind of man any woman would want for a husband. He acts the role to a T and does what's expected of him. He’s also hardheaded and keenly aware of how others perceive him. But it’s these qualities that have Logan yearning for a change, one that could liven up his world and fill it with color. Emily Valentine is the only daughter of a successful family, and she’s determined to make a name for herself on her own. When Emily and Logan cross paths, again, Emily becomes wary of this rich man’s intentions, while Logan gets a chance to get away from his public image and show someone who he really is. Will their differences and the past keep them apart? Or will they both realize they have more in common than they care to admit? EXPOSED Vincent Drake’s life had turned a complete 180. Growing up from one foster home to the next, he barely had a penny to his name. Then suddenly he had four new brothers and a grandfather sharing a part of his blood and name. Now his skills honed back in the military will be exchanged for business management. But things were coming up roses too fast, and Vincent’s not sure if this is the life he wants. As he moves into town, he must decide if he really wants to be in a family he’s only dreamed about, or if he’s better off with the life he had before meeting them. Faith Lockhart doesn’t remember a day she’s stepped out of her apartment. The trauma of her past and the death of her parents have pushed her to a life of solitude, never leaving unless she absolutely has to. Everything changes when her old apartment starts to fall apart, sending her straight into her hot new neighbor’s arms for help. The ex-soldier next door reluctantly plays Mr. Fix-it, and soon, he was fixing his way into her life. But while the spark between them grows, a danger she thought she had escaped from emerges and threatens to ruin them. SEAN Sean Drake liked to live by his own rules. He worked hard, partied harder, and played his favorite games in the bedroom well. But his life would change now that it was his turn to come home and run the family business. Stuck with a job he didn’t want, and responsibilities he never thought he was ready for, Sean needs to get the company in shape and impress his grandfather enough to let him go back to the life he wants…but he’s going to need all the help he can get. Lark Jacobs has been working as Hunter Drake’s assistant for years. She throws herself into work, putting her no-nonsense attitude and go-getter nature to good use. She doesn’t have time for fun and games, especially when the head of a department promotion is so close. All of this comes to a head when her boss orders her to assist his younger brother Sean.

Oh my! I love Kayla's style of writing. She has the amazing ability to draw you into her stories This boxset just gave me a happy lovely feeling. I couldnt put it down.
Each story is just as wonderful as the one you read before.
First we meet Hunter. He grew up fast after losing his mother. His father vanished leaving him to bring up his brothers living with his grandfather but there is tension. He is a very successful business man on the hunt for a portrait of his grandmother. He goes to an auction that changes his life. The final lot is a woman. She is stunning and to out bid a man that hunter detests he bid 1 million dollars. Jamie is having a bad day and the day only gets worse after she breaks a vase worth a lot of money. The owners quickly tie Jamie up complaining that she owes them. And before she knows it she is in a skimpy white nightdress gaged and tied up in ropes. This story is a true love story but Kayla throws in some twists and turns. This is a fantastic read totally smashed it!!
Now we meet Logan wow he is hot. He is a CEO of the family business hard working and loves his family, but feels alone at times, he has always had to act like the hard-hearted but he longs to find a woman. Its a kind of second chance/ love hate relationship between Logan and Emily. This is a brilliant story They have met before whilst in college but Logan cant remember her. Emily is a journalist writing a story about Logan and she is not happy to be anywhere near him. This is A fantastic read totally loved it Kayla smashed it again.
Then we meet Vincent and Emily. Vincent didnt know he was a Drake. He grew up in foster care and was surprised to find he had 4 brothers and a grandfather. He is struggling to come to terms with having a family silly really as that is all he ever wanted growing up. He moves into his own flat something the brothers didnt want but excepted. It wasnt the best area but accpet Vincents need to live on his own as he learns to cope as a civilian after leaving the military. He meets Faith his next door neighbour who is very quiet and shy. After Faiths flat is flooded Vincent invites Faith to move in with him whilst they repair her flat. Faith has been in hiding for 13 years after seeing her parents get murdered. she is a bit of a recluse. Before you know it they are both helping each other copy with their stressful life's, But what Vincent and Emily don't realise is that the men who killed her parents are still out there looking for. Twists and turns Kayla keeps giving. This is a great story.
And finally we meet Sean. He works hard but he does love to PARTY. He lives by his own rules and loves the women.
Sean is called home to run the family business. He doesn't mind the hard work but he wants his own life back. Sean will work his socks off to get the company back on track and most importantly impressed his Grandfather. But then Hunter puts Lark as his assistant. Lark is amazing at her job and Hunter has always been impressed by her work ethics . Lark Jacobs has been working for Hunter as his assistant for years. She always puts 100% into her job. All of this comes to a head when Hunter gets her to assist Sean. Hunter knows that Lark will keep Sean going into the right dircetion. What Hunter doesnt know that they met along time ago on a plane and Sean wasnt so smooth then, well not enough for a broken hearted Lark.
This finally book is full of passion misunderstanding and seeing oppersites attract.
Its brilliant I couldnt put it down and was super disappointed when I finished as I just wanted to read more and more about these wonderful couples. I'm going to miss the Drake family.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

The Scandalous Billionaires Box Set follows the Drake brothers on their journey to finding love. Each story can be read as a standalone.

The first book: Brought follows a down on her luck Jamie and 'Sir' Hunter, the man who purchased her for an insane amount of money. The interaction between is sweet and funny, but I would have personally liked a little bit of heat developed between these characters. Also, I would have liked a little bit more explanation on the auction and see the traffickers brought to justice. Overall, it's a sweet and romantic read over an afternoon by the fire.

The second book: Logan follows Emily and Logan. Both these characters have a past, but misunderstanding and perceived slight made Emily hate Logan to this day. Logan portraits the role of a hard-hitting entrepreneur to a T, but wants feels like everyone sees his outer shell than within him. He was easy to fall for and Emily was a wonderfully strong character. The character development was on point and this can be considered one of my favorite out of all the rest.

The third book: Exposed follows Vincent, the long-lost brother, and the reclusive Faith. Vincent, who grew up in foster homes was suddenly thrown into a world of glitz, glamour, and money. He feels lost, though he tries to fit in and the rest of the Drake family does a wonderful job of welcoming him with open arms. Faith ran away from home after a traumatic event and has been hiding in her apartment ever since. The story lacked development. I wanted to know a little more about how Vincent felt with his new situation in life. I also wanted more development of Faith finally coming out of her shell. Them meeting, and falling and her giving up hiding was too fast. The story has potential but needs more development.

The last book: Sean is about the youngest brother and Hunter's hard-ass assistant Lark. Sean is the carefree one, living by his own rules and partying hard. Lark is on her path to the promotion she wanted but was thrown a curve ball when she is asked to work with Sean. Their interaction is funny at best, and the character development was good. We get to meet the rest of the family so that made me a little nostalgic. Overall, it is a good read.

The completion of stories revolves around 5 brothers and their HEA

Logan meets his woman went she is set to interview him for her job as a journalist. Emily loathes Logan at least the image he protrays. But when she sees the real him, it puts him in a different light.

Vincent wasn't raised with his sibling in fact he's only known about them a shirt while. He feels like an outsider.
He meets Faith when her apartment is flooded. Faith has been alone since her family was murdered flying under the radar. She socially awkward. But Vince can see the real woman. When he encourages her out of her shell he inadvertently places her in danger.

Sean is the rebel But When he is emotionally blackmailed by his ailing Grandfather to run the company until his young brother can take over. He is sent his brothers assistant Lark who's no nonsense approach Sean find cute. As Lark helps him to navigate the boardroom he helps Lark to unwind. What could go wrong.

The SCANDALOUS BILLIONAIRES box set features the stories of four of the Drake brothers and the women who have changed their lives. Each story is sexy and steamy in its own right with touches of mystery, danger and suspense. The brothers are all quite swoon worthy, but each deliciously different from the others. The women are all so different as well, yet they all seem to be just the right one to bring out the best in each brother. These stories will bring laughter, sighs and even groans of frustration when things don’t seem to be going in the right direction. Definitely worth reading.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Great set of books!

Loved this set of books, but it a shame that River didn't get his own book. That would have finished the set off!

Bought:
I enjoyed reading this book. I would have liked a little more explanation about the auction as it was not really discussed in the book and basically the traffickers got away with the crime. The book is still good with some suspense and romance. I received an advance copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Logan:
I liked this installment in the Scandalous Billionaires series. You don't have to read the first one in this series to read this one. However, Kayla does work in the characters from the first book. I really liked Logan & Emily together and they make a great couple. I'm looking forward to reading about the other brothers if they get their own books. I received an advance copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Exposed:
I liked this 3rd book in the series. We find out more about the lost brother Vincent and meet his girlfriend Faith. I recommend reading the other books in this series for the background on these brothers but it's not necessary in order to read this story. I received an advance copy from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Sean:
I liked the 4th book in the series. This one is about Sean and Lark. These two actually had met when Lark graduated college and didn't reveal who they were at the time. This is basically a second chance story when these two meet again 6 years later. I received an advance copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
